for my one shift at Little Lambs, this crooked, wealthy Massapequa lady Yeseniah overcommunicated…read moreeverything over multiple phone conversations except one detail that I followed up on in the car ride over- I would not be getting paid for "training" for at least a month! she clarified that it's a trade for the background check. some expensive background check! so she wanted me to commit to I think 30 hours a week for 0 pay for at least a month. on the phone prior, she had told me pay was $15 hourly for the first few months than a raise. it was an awful way to start, I was clearly not okay. I clearly needed a job as I was in touch with her for months, with no car, and she took advantage of that. Yeseniah and the other worker, I think named Lady, demonstrated that have no education or know-how in working with children with autism and I did not think they were appropriate with the one autistic child of the bunch (I'm also on the spectrum). This poor little girl was not okay, mostly screaming and covering her ears the time I was there until she was left to just hang out with the adults and do her own thing while the other kids went in the playroom. because that's exactly how ASD goes. after the shift, I called Yeseniah a week later and threatened to report her to the Department of Labor if she did not give me my due payment for my one shift. gratefully I got it! So I'm writing this because I know teenage girls are gonna look into that position, get robbed and think it's normal. Ladies, DONT GET EXPLOITED! dont let anyone mess with your money. Little Lambs FB page is under Yeseniah's name, not listed as a business, with no google page.

My daughter attended TLE for almost three years until she started kindergarten this past September…read more There are definitely things over the three years that left a lot to be desired and at times the turn over did seem high. It was hard when you felt like you developed a good rapport with your child's teacher/director and then they leave, and then you have to start all over with someone new. But what I will say is my daughter had two amazing teachers during her time at TLE. The first, Ms. Jailyn, really took the time with her kids from what I could see and my daughter loved her and I could tell her teacher loved her back. I felt at ease when she was there and even if she had to give me a bad report on my daughter's behavior I felt she wanted to try and find a way we both can help her and not that it was just my problem as her mom. When Ms. Jailyn left I was not happy and worried who my daughter's next teacher would be (I did have some not so great experiences with other teachers.) There were at least two other teachers she was switched around too but thankfully she ended up with Ms. Rose. I can literally not say enough amazing things about Ms. Rose! My husband and I truly believe she made a difference in my daughter's life! She is so patient and kind and really a remarkable woman. My daughter would have meltdowns in class and Sometimes it would be rough but Ms. Rose never gave up on her and always would try to come up with new ways to help my daughter feel comfortable and redirect her tantrums. I am sure it was hard for Ms. rose but she kept pressing on and made us feel that our daughter was in great hands. My child needed a "warm and fuzzy" individual and Ms. Rose is exactly that person. I know not all teachers are like that and there are great ones who aren't but Ms. Rose was exactly what my daughter needed! I hope TLE does all they can to keep Ms. Rose because she is truly an asset to have!

He loves all his teachers and every morning he wakes up looking forward to going to 'school'. It feels like I leave my son with family every morning, and that is how a daycare center should feel, I have no worries when he is there and we are lucky to have found them.

To Melissa M: You have no idea what you are talking about. You were not there while my children…read morewere attending Tutor Time and what a terrible experience was for them. Did you even see what occurred when they were there? Were you in the room when the experiences I related happened? Were you privy to the phone calls and messages I received from Tutor Time? No. So you have no right to say I'm making stuff up and call me a liar. Alison and Danielle may be nice to you but they were not to my youngest son. They were very rude and nasty to him and couldn't wait to throw him out. They treated him like absolute dirt. One other thing that I didn't put in my first review is that I called my school district about what to do about my son and his situation at Tutor Time. When one of the directors who has a PhD in education found out that my son was attending Tutor Time of Massapequa, she said "I've had this conversation with them before. Their methods are terrible. The teachers have no training whatsoever. Their only response to when a child doesn't behave is to isolate the child and eventually try to get rid of the child which causes much more harm than good." So it's not just me. Tutor Time has a bad reputation with my school district and they have a low opinion of Tutor Time's methods. Don't tell people to ignore my review because it is a 100% accurate reflection of my children's experiences there and people should know that it isn't the happy, sunny place you insist it is.

We are able…read moreto dedicate our time to our jobs knowing she is in good hands and is safe and having a great time. We love all the staff at Tutor Time and the teachers our amazing. Our daughter has learned so much and it is overwhelmingly noticable how much of a positive impact tutor time has had on her. She is smart and super social. We have met so many amazing parents as well and she has so many friends! The leadership at tutor time is filled with excellent people, they host fun events, have excellent communication with parents and build great relationships with everyone. I recommend Tutor Time to everyone i know. Edited after reading below reviews. In response to the negative review below - This is unbelievably inaccurate and is not at all a representation of Tutor Time. This has not been my experience in the 2+ years my daughter has been there and we have had nothing but positive experiences always. My daughter has a huge personality, super sassy and energetic. She is loved by everyone, the second she walks in the door she is getting hugs from everyone, past teachers come to see her in her class room and we even get to see some of the staff outside of TT bc they love her so much. Big personalities and lots of energy grow and prosper there and to say they are unwanted is very much untrue. Cleanliness is important to them, especially with covid and they are constantly taking the necessary precautions to keep the kids safe. I watch the cameras and they have very specific cleaning routines. My daughter has come home sick only once, for high fever - and she got it from her cousin not from the school. When they called me I was 45 minutes away and it was no problem at all, they were super sweet and took care of her until I could get there. The academic program is great - my daughter comes home every day learning new things. She soaks it up like a sponge and I love how many things they do every single day. There is always reading, writing, math, science - it blew my mind when she started how much she was actually learning. I thought they would spend most of their time playing but they fit in so much! For example just today they did days of the week, months of the year, weather, a fire drill sequence, a science experiment, learned about the ecosystem and counting. To say there is little to no academic instruction is insane and bizarre to me. Lastly, Allison and Danielle are amazing. They are incredibly sweet and love on my kid so much - and we don't have to "suck up" to get that kind of attention. They answer all my emails right away and are always so kind and helpful. They plan the most fun things for the kids and are always trying to do the best for them. I often get to the school early bc my job is so far away and if our daughters teacher isn't on site yet Danielle lets her hangout in her office with her, which is her favorite thing to do in the mornings! Allison sends me cute pics of our girl during the day when she can. They are just the best duo and we are so lucky our kid is in their hands. If you are considering tutor time I would not take that review very seriously.
