Both of my children attended (and one is currently attending) Loving and Learning, starting at 18 months for my older child and 6 months for my younger. We have had a wonderful experience at every stage and have always felt complete trust in their caregivers. The teachers are incredibly warm, nurturing, and attentive, and the directors do a great job ensuring a safe environment from maintaining strong hygiene practices to carefully managing who enters and exits the building. Most importantly, both of my kids were always happy to go in each day and even happier when I picked them up (sometimes they didn't want to leave!). The social and educational environment is first rate. Virtually no staff turnover. The same caregivers are available to siblings, offering continuity over, in our case, generations. read more

I don't believe the review below reflects Loving and Learning at all. Of course they don't let anyone off the street into the facility without an appointment! I'm a teacher and if someone was interested in sending their child to our school, they need to make an appt! It's been protocol in most educational places for years! Safety first!!!! You would think this woman would be happy about the safety protocol in place. My niece and nephew went to L&L and had an amazing experience here. I've had to pick them up several times and I'm not allowed in unless I have specific information. I love this! The staff is attentive and amazing! The teachers are caring and wonderful with the kids. I'm on maternity leave and plan on sending my daughter to L&L once I go back to school. It really is a special place that cares about the kids. read more

I was looking around for child care for my son who is 3 months old. Loving and Learning is near my husband's job so I decided to stop by. I did not call or make an appointment prior because I believe that prospective parents should be able to come in at any time. If the facility is being run correctly then I should not have to make an appointment and be able to stop in to get information and view the facility. Anyway, I arrived to the facility and rang the bell, someone answered, I told them I was there to get information on enrolling my son. A woman came to the door with her binder full of papers. She refused to let me in the building for "safety reasons", not even to sit and talk in an office. How rude was that. Instead, she handed me a paper with rates for toddle care (my son is an infant) and told me they do not have any more spots in their infant class for this year. She didn't even introduce herself, when I asked her name she said she was the "program director". I found it to be extremely rude to not let a prospective parent into your facility. That was unprofessional and I am unhappy with the way I was treated. If the program director treats people like this I can only imagine how the staff in the place is. I will never enroll my son here if I cannot come unannounced to see how this facility is being ran. I am a new mom and I only want the best for my child. Parents beware! Horrible service! I've visited many centers in the area. By far the best on the south shore!!! Felt safe and the education seems to be on point.

Never send your kids here. The instructors are rude and they do not pay attention to the kids. I was there picking up my neice, and one of the little boys ran out of his classroom, and opened the door and ran out into the parking lot. I said OMG a kid just ran outside. One of the instrucors said yeah no kidding. I said how rude, maybe if you where paying attention, that never would of happened. She responded if it's not your kid don't worry about it. I told my sister what had happened and she pulled her daughter out the next day. Please take a look at other Day care centers. I hear Tutor time is good. I currently have my second child in Loving & Learning. They were amazing with my daughter. She was loved and learned! By the time she graduated, she was reading. The teachers were supportive and caring (save for one, who was fired a couple of months into the year). My son currently attends. He has asthma, and they have been great. They've been very attentive and he's having a great time. I have NEVER seen a child run into the parking lot. The kids can't even leave the classroom to go to the bathroom without a teacher. I would totally recommend this day care to anyone who asked. read more
