We have had a wonderful experience at every stage and have always felt complete trust in their caregivers. The teachers are incredibly warm, nurturing, and attentive, and the directors do a great job ensuring a safe environment from maintaining strong hygiene practices to carefully managing who enters and exits the building. Most importantly, both of my kids were always happy to go in each day and even happier when I picked them up (sometimes they didn't want to leave!). It's clear they felt safe, supported, and excited to learn. I can't say enough good things about Loving and Learning. Knowing my children were safe, happy, and in such a positive learning environment meant so much to our family. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy place for their little ones. In terms of pricing, they are aligned with other facilities. I looked at several other places before deciding where to send my children, and cost was not a deciding factor.

The directors love my children, the teachers love my children, and I trust that they are happy and safe there. I love that there is a curriculum, each week is a different theme. They learn Spanish and do yoga and exercise and learn the basics like letters, numbers, writing, etc. I love that there are cameras and you can watch what is going on throughout the day. Every teacher knows the children's names even if they aren't in that teacher's class. They take any concerns seriously. The facility is clean and neat and welcoming. No daycare is perfect, I assure you, but Lightbridge is perfect for us and I'm more than happy with the care my children are getting there.

The director Christina should win an Oscar for her acting skills. She will promise you the world and pretend that she cares about your child. We wanted a daycare closer to home so we decided to switch our child over to Tutor Time. Once your child is enrolled, you actually see the horrific practices of this establishment. There is absolutely​ no structure. Children do whatever they want. There is always a different adult in the room. Additionally, they are not compliant with the state laws, which requires 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers. My child was often in a room with 7 other children and 1 unfamiliar face. As previous reviews mentioned, this is a puppy mill that only wants your money. During an 8 hour day, my child's diaper was only changed twice. State law requires that diapers be changed every 2 hours. One of the many teachers​ we saw often spoke down to the children, "you guys are three and you don't know how to place your hands on the wall?" We often walked past the infant room in the afternoon and saw babies crying hysterically because no one was paying attention to them. One day, another baby was biting the edge of a bookshelf as she was teething. No one stopped her from biting the bookshelf and its varnish coating. My maternal instinct knew something was wrong but I just needed my little one to last a few weeks until June. I asked my brother to pick up my little one from Tutor Time because I was going to be at work past my regular schedule. My brother and his girlfriend went in before my usual pick up time and upon walking to the classroom they saw the teacher, Janet, DRAGGING MY CHILD BY ONE ARM ACROSS 5 FEET OF CARPET. THIS DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY CHILD BY ONE ARM AND DROPPED HIM. My brother immediately​ told the director, who did not remove Janet from the classroom for another two hours. Christina, the director, was suddenly worried about ratio issues. Compliance is never a concern for them but that day it was. Furthermore, Christina forced herself to cry, in an attempt to show empathy. We were promised the video evidence within 48 hours. We are way past the 48-hour deadline and still waiting for answers. Run far away from this place. I would never want this to happen to any other child.

Growing up in New Hyde Park, I knew the teachers and so many kids/parents who went to Gloria Dei and loved it. When I had my own child, there was never a question where they would go. My daughter started in this school last year in the 2 year old separation program. We had tried daycare with her for a while prior but after months struggling to adjust we finally pulled her out and hired a nanny. The first 2 weeks of school my daughter (and most other 2 year olds) were scared and cried for a while after dropoff. But this school anticipates and is prepared for that adjustment helping the kids and parents through. After 2 weeks it was like a switch went off and my daughter suddenly loved school! She made friends, learned to socialize and play and became comfortable separating. I noticed a marked difference in her communication, motor skills and confidence very quickly in the year and she progresses from there. Most importantly, she loved and looked forward to her time there. My daughter is currently enrolled in the 3 year old program with mrs.cherson and continuing to love school and thrive. Mrs. Cherson, the founder and director of the school, is a talented, compassionate and patient teacher. I'm always excited to come home from work and hear how school was. My son will be starting the 2 year old program next year while my daughter continues with them into mrs. Hansen's pre-k. Although there is universal pre-k in the town that would save me money the experience we've gotten here is worth it. I love the teachers, the small community and the friendly faces and parents you meet dropping off / picking up kids. Can't reccomend this school enough!

They run this like a school, keep the kids busy and have a really great structure to prepare them for school. We could not have been happier, these women are a gift from God and have the patience of saints. They treated the children like they were their own, and we loved when our son went there.
