I had to drive to Amityville for an Elite bash, and --oh, the horror!--my nails were disastro. Chipped, grown out, and, sadly, stained with leather dye from dyeing boots. Ack!! Absolutely could not show up with these disgraceful fingertips. I called Dif and requested an appointment, telling them I was about 20-25 minutes away. When I arrived, K was ready for me. He wanted to take everything off, but I asked him to please just do a fill and file, and he did!! He gave me beautiful, short, rounded nails with many coats of baked gel pale pink polish. I was delighted. While this took much longer than usual, I still had plenty of time to get to Amityville, so I got a basic pedicure, too. The pedicure was also great. No complaints at all. While it was more expensive than most for the gel polish, that's probably because my nails were in such horrible shape from the chipping, dye, etc. I was also happy to see water and nail drying spray, which I used on my toes. It's a clean, busy place. All the nail stations were busy when I arrived. Definitely make an appointment. They also offer other services, although I didn't read the list. I am thrilled to have found a nail place, and really don't mind driving to Patchogue, because I can get other stuff done there too, like get gas at Costco.

During my most recent appointment, the nail technician accidentally cut through my nail with the tool she was using. She apologized and admitted, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." My nail was bleeding, and despite this, she insisted on covering the injured area with builder gel polish. After she had already applied the product and had me put my hand under the UV lamp, she suddenly asked if it hurt and whether I wanted her to remove it because she didn't want me to get an infection. I was honestly shocked. That was exactly my concern from the beginning, yet she had insisted on covering it in the first place. She then continued to dismiss my concerns by essentially telling me I wasn't feeling anything. As if the experience itself wasn't bad enough, when I went to the front desk to pay, I was charged the FULL price. I explained what had happened and asked if there was any way I could be compensated for an appointment during which a nail technician had literally cut through my nail and caused it to bleed. The response? "I can give you $5 off next time." NEXT TIME? After an experience like that, why would I ever want to come back? Offering a $5 discount toward a future appointment completely misses the point. I shouldn't have to pay full price for a service where I was injured due to the technician's admitted lack of attention, and I certainly shouldn't have to return to the salon to receive any acknowledgment of what happened. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've been a customer for years and have experienced other issues here before. I kept coming back, hoping for better experiences, but the lack of accountability and customer service has finally made that impossible. A nail service should never leave a customer feeling injured, dismissed, and then expected to pay full price as though nothing happened. The way this situation was handled by both the technician and the front desk was unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to take customer safety and satisfaction more seriously.

Where do I begin!!!! I was greeted nicely and barely waited and I didn't have an appointment. I got extremely lucky with the most perfect and funny nail technician I have ever had. Her name is Delilah. Truthfully she needs to be the head nail technician there (even though I haven't had anyone else) she really sealed my experience. I will never go anywhere else going forward nor use anyone else. The main thing amongst others was that she was SO knowledgeable and patient with me about the different services they had and that she made it clear the choice was mine (did not push any expensive options on me like most nail salons do). Thank you so much for having her apart of your staff and for being so close to my job where I could even go on my lunch break or right after work. Oh and her work by the way is so clean and neat as you can tell by the photo. I will be telling and insisting everyone I know go to this salon and use Delilah specifically. We tried Fiji but I had forgotten how much I don't like that color on my toes. But...unfortunately, they were incredibly sloppy with their powder manicure. I showed them a photo of a design I wanted (mentioned this when making the appointment as well), and when I got there they gave me all confidence they could do it but I could see on the tech's face that she had no idea how to even begin. What I showed them was a very simple Mickey Mouse design (this was after showing them several others and then saying they couldn't do it). What I ended up recording was as something that looked like two cherries hanging off a vine. Keep in mind this for a trip to Disney, so... I will say that their pedicure was great-it included hot stones which I love and the massage was also really good. But, that came at a crazy price. The polish application for the pedicure was also sloppy, when I asked for a simple French. All in all, I left there spending $130, which even by Long Island pricing standards is ridiculous. Regardless of the shotty work, I still remained polite and gracious while voicing my concerns along the way in a nice way because I knew there was a huge language barrier that didn't help matters. I still tipped my tech well because after all she did perform a service, but I know I will not be returning here nor recommending them.
