I needed business cards unexpectedly and decided to go with Pixels based on favorable reviews. They recommend really nice card stock and font design, incorporating my company logo as well. Great work, very high quality, and I couldn't believe it only took 3 business days. I figured it would take a week. Really happy with Pixels. read more

Friday night I realized that not too many imaging printers are open on the weekend. Uh-Oh. Found this place on yelp and had a stress free experience... Rollled in Saturday morning hoping to get my head shots STAT before my Monday morning audition. Walked out 30 minutes later with GREAT looking head shots thanks to the quick and courteous professionalism from Wendy. THANK YOU PIXELS! Highly recommended! read more

The prints Wendy and her team made for my fine art photography school final were absolutely amazing, and done for a very inexpensive price. I've received many compliments because of these prints. This place is fantastic. All I had to do was upload my photos and they were done an hour later. I can't recommend this place enough. Wendy, thank you so much for your terrific work! read more

I love giving reviews for companies that not only deserve a job well done but also those who want to cheat the system and play "dirty." Unfortunately this business did not meet the mark of exceptional service aside from being somewhat helpful when I came in asking to print off business cards which is why they get one star because they tried. Having used Moo before to print my business cards, I thought maybe there would be a local business that I could support instead of a corporation, however Pixels did not come through with great service. The receptionist whom I thought was the one who was going to be editing my cards, told me the details of the business card process. She started losing me when they have to do their business card printing from an outside source, which meant I would have to wait longer than I expected to receive my cards. To then I went home and waited for the proof of my business card being sent by her. Wendy sent it, whom I've never met. It took two days for Wendy to send the proof of which was completely wrong and not to my specifications of which were clearly stated in my email and the receptionist also said that she was going to be sending the proof in a day. On top of all the logistical details, business cards get charged a set up fee per card, well with moo, I can create it on my own and have four different designs in one package and never pay a set up fee but with Pixels, I only get one design and charged a set up fee which was not clearly explained in the beginning of how it would be charged. I never ended up ordering the cards because they did not look how I wanted them and I felt it was ridiculous to charge a new customer a $25 set up fee when I know very well it took her at max ten minutes to set it up since I had already provided all the info and pictures from the start. And to finish this not so pleasant experience, she changed the invoice after I said I was not ordering any cards through the business and said we will only charge you for the set up fee in an email. Wendy or her receptionist NEVER told me that I had to pay a set up fee if I didn't order the cards, because had that been the case, I never would have gone in at all, especially since she didn't even make the correct proof to begin with. Wendy did not cancel the invoice in its entirety until I complained about the set up fee that was not properly explained to me in full at the beginning. I also never knew she canceled the invoice until I left this review, because she never responded to my email when I asked why I was being charged a set up fee. I should not have had to write an email explaining why I was sent a second invoice, it should have been deleted in its entirety after I emailed saying I went with another company and did not wish to order cards from Pixel. I don't mind paying $25 or $100, it's the principle that was completed missed. Yes, the invoice was canceled, but not until I complained. DO NOT use this business for printing needs, it's a money pit and a waste of time, use someone else who is more cognizant of customer needs and not wanting to get every penny out of you. read more

I found out about pixels through my headshot photographer (one of the top headshot photographers in L.A) he recommended his clients print their headshots here....I can see why, the service & quality are second to none! Wendy was very friendly & knowledgeable,as was Pez who I got to sit down with & talk about the color of my headshots, borders etc. I live so close I just stopped in to look at the proofs before they were printed in bulk. The thing I like about pixels is you get to split your shots up,so if you order 100 headshots and have 4 diffrent looks you can mix & match them to equal 100. The quality is AMAZING, my headshots definitely stand out! I read some people say pixels was expensive, remember you get what you pay for and in this business it's important you stand out! Oh I also had business cards printed here & they look great! One full headshot on the front & one on the back. Woo Hoo - Thank you Pixels. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I have tried Argentum, Reproductions, Isgo...and honestly, they are all just ok. But after reading strong yelp reviews, I had to check this place out. It's true: Pez is super fast, genuinely personable & friendly, and a gorgeous retoucher!! I emailed him 2 headshots, and within an hour he emailed me back the proofs complete with color/light adjustments and minor retouching. Beautifully done! You just dont get that kind of speedy and sensitive care elsewhere! read more

I ordered my headshots at Pixels after reading the other reviews. I was ASTONISHED at how beautiful my proof was. Pixels did right by my photographer's skills and I have gotten great responses on my prints since meeting industry folks. The customer service and pricing are right on. I worked with Wendy and Camille and they were straight forward and amazing. And FAST! Just put in another order and I'm excited to spread the word to my other friends. I know this is some serious gushing, but I was surprised to get such incredible same day service! I know that that might be due to time of year (end of October) but never the less-- color me impressed. I'm a real person here, really gushing ;) read more

Pixels' customer service was outstanding. I got my headshots in only a couple hours, and they couldn't have been easier or more pleasant to work with. I asked how much retouching the woman who helped me thought I needed, and instead of charging me an arm and a leg for unnecessary fixes, she fixed a minor hotspot in the corner of one of my pictures with no charge. The quality is fantastic, as well. No complaints there. My only problem was the $25 "setup fee" for a new account that was applied PER PICTURE. Since I had three shots I wanted printed, that amounted to $75. That seemed a bit extreme to me. However, given the quality of the prints, the fantastic service, the great price on the prints ($58 for 50 prints), and the fact that they were willing to split the 50 prints I wanted 20/20/10 among the three shots, I'm choosing to look at it as an investment in a great photo lab. I would definitely recommend Pixels to anyone needing headshots printed. read more

I would give more stars if I could. I got proofs via email through Chris and then Wendy. Wendy was prompt and wonderful. She recommended my name to appear on one corner e when I said center. Most would not even bother and print as told by the customer - but she CARED! It actually looks better on the corner. I contacted them in the morning and in the afternoon, the pictures were ready! Unbelievably FAST! The price was very reasonable and I love my headshots. They look good! Thank you Pixels! Will print my next batch from them! read more

I went to Pixels yesterday to have some 8x10 photos printed from our wedding, and was so happy with the results! It was so easy to upload the files through hightail, and 2 hours later I went to pick them up! The print quality was great and so was the service and pricing (all listed online). Wendy was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Now that I've found this place I'm sure we will start printing photos again. read more

I ask for help over the phone. I get told to send an email. I ask questions, I get poor answers and told to send an email again. LAME LAME LAME LAME. If a customer wants to spend over $1000 and wants you to help by guiding them through the options, don't keep telling them to "send an email." Tend to your customers requests. read more

MY FAIRY GODMOTHERS OF HEADSHOT PRINTING I could go on for ages about how awesome Pixels is. I'm terrible at waiting until my head shots are all out and then realizing I need one ASAP. They are always on top of it and help me get my head shots in time for an audition. Literally the sweetest and print awesome quality photos. I will never go elsewhere! Thanks pixels!! read more

I order large amounts of photos relatively often and after having suffered a number of very costly screw ups from other photo printers in the past; this place is a miracle! Their prints are very high quality and they fill my orders much faster than other printers for about the same price. On the very rare occasion that there is something wrong with my order she usually notices it even before I do and she's always honest and up front, and is quick to fix the error without pointing fingers or complaining or making excuses. Integrity all the way. SUPER friendly, fantastic service, reliable, accommodating and just an all around pleasure to do business with. Seriously, I can not say enough good things about Pixels. So easy and stress free to deal with, my only regret is that I didn't try getting prints done here sooner- I probably would've saved myself a lot of money and several headaches. read more

I'm a Creative Director and I use them for printing mood boards, photos for set designs, Vinyl tests, personal photos, etc! The prints are absolutely beautiful and absolutely worth the cost. Not to mention, Ryan and Wendy are always very very helpful and can usually accommodate my quick turnarounds! I can't imagine getting prints anywhere else. Many of my photog friends ask about my prints and I send 'em this way. You will definitely be happy! Go! read more

A+! Wendy has been so helpful both times I've come here to print my headshots. She's even gone above and beyond what you'd find at any other photo shop. I love Pixels because I get top quality prints (I used to go to Argentum and Isgo), but the flexibility to print different images and still retain the bulk pricing. I don't know of any other major reproduction company that offers that; I would have to pay out the nose to get 25 prints of four different looks. The website/uploading/online ordering process is a bit confusing, but it worked out in the end. Today I had come from over the hill to see my test prints (always get test prints; my last batch seemed OK on my laptop but looked a bit oversaturated in person, so thank goodness for test prints) and since things weren't too crazy (she says it's slower during tax time, ha) she was able to print up my batch of 100 headshots on the spot to save me an additional trip out there, and even hand-delivered them to me next door at the coffee shop while I waited! What service!!! read more

I had a photograph of my father that was taken during WWII that was severly damaged, I mean knife holes thrugh the eyes, torn and wrinkled. Pez did a fabulus job with the restoration Working with me until it was exactly what i wanted, a Life Magazine quality photograph that my father would be proud of, he actually is published photographer. And he was extremely touched, still can't believe the quality of the end result. Thank you so much, and the price was extremely reasonable. read more

They did a great job on my prints- fast and reasonable as well. It was all done electronically except pick up!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pixels :) I'm off to pick up my new headshots today, this will be the third lot I've done with Wendy and Pez. Seriously the turn around has been about 3 days and I wasn't even in a hurry!!!! Pixels are fast, they do an awesome job and they CARE! I honestly feel like they are my own personal printers!!! Pez was fantastic! When I got my e-mail proofs, I decided one of them was the wrong choice. Pez said, "No problem." He made a swap for me, without additional charge. Good product -- hyper convenient (I had my shots mailed... never even had to visit the store). All around great experience. read more

I wanted to get some 35x12" pictures that I took printed and started calling all around. I was getting quotes of $80-100 a piece until I called up Pixels. They printed 2 of each of my 2 pictures for a total of $80! Not only were they cheap and quick, they did a great job and were insanely nice and cool people. Cheap, fast, nice, cool, and a GREAT JOB. I've used Pixels twice now for headshots. The service is nothing short of amazing! Wendy and Pez are friendly, professional, lightning fast, and I guarantee you will never be disappointed with the results. Other photo labs may be less expensive, but Pixels will always have my business. read more

I took two small photo booth black and white pictures from my childhood to have duplicated and slightly enlarged, and Pixels did a great job. I am really pleased with the results as the duplicates were meant to be a gift to a childhood friend that was with me in the photo booth at Thrifty's back in the late 60's. The staff are very nice and welcoming and the work was done the same day, and the price was so reasonable. I will return to this business and suggest you take your imaging needs to them. read more

Matt P turned me onto this place after he got his headshots printed. They looked awesome. So, once I needed some printing of my own, I went here. It's really expensive, but that's not big news, its ALWAYS really expensive to get headshots printed if you want them to be professional quality. After careful research of all the places in the area, I found that Pixels would give me the best deal. Everyone will give you a certain price for printing, say, 100 pictures, But let's say that I want 50 copies of one pic, 30 copies of another, and 20 of a 3rd. At PIxels, its still the same price for 100, and it doesn't have to be all the same picture! This is the only place that would do that for me out of all the places I called in LA. When you walk in, their table is covered with headshots, and they let me paw through them to pick out the orientation, border, font, etc that I wanted for mine. Best part (are you ready for this?): I went in on Saturday morning to drop off the picture files and place the order. The proofs were done on Monday late morning, I ok'ed them on Monday evening, and the whole order was done by Tuesday early afternoon! Now THAT, my friend, is service! read more

Customer service at Pixels is amazing! They're really friendly and responsive and the steps to upload and process your photos online is a cinch. If you do your own borders, formatting, etc, they'll waive the setup fee of $25. Just be sure to mention it to them. I got notification to pick up my photos the SAME DAY I sent them in. I can't say that'll be the case for everything, but I was really impressed with the speed. read more

The folks at Pixels are the best. When I needed a headshot retouched and printed on crazy short notice for a big meeting, not only was Pixels able to get it to me faster than promised, the retouching was fantastic and the printed headshot was high quality. The meeting went well (woo hoo!) and I got three more images retouched with a speedy turn around. Definitely going to keep coming back here! read more

A-MA-ZING!!!!! "Nooooooooo! I spilled orange juice all over my head shots on a D Day audition!!" Luckily for me, PIXELS DIGITAL IMAGING (thank you Jason!!) SAVED MY DAY AND MADE IT HAPPEN IN 2 HOURS!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! You definitely made at least a new grateful and happy customer today!!! THANK YOU! read more

The print outs are great, however when I emailed them asking them for the price of 1 they instead printed out 5 without waiting for me to say that is fine to go ahead with the printouts. Sure as an actor you should have many printouts of your headshot however since I just took new headshots i only needed one for an audition that still had an old headshot of mine. I was not ok with them just jumping the gun and printing them out without me saying it was fine. read more

Having struggled for years with three of their competitors (Reproductions, Argentum, and some place in the valley), I finally found a great shop to get my headshots reproduced. I work nearby and needed a few quick prints of my wedding photos. In a quick search I found Pixels but all the reviews were headshots, headshots, headshots. My son just started with an agency, and his new manager suggested we get his head shots printed at Pixels. I was very skeptical that they would be significantly better than what I could do myself and wasn't sure it would be worth the trouble. I WAS WRONG. My son's prints from Pixels look amazing! They are head and shoulders above anything I could have gotten anywhere else or done myself. The service was friendly, competent and quick. I put 30 minutes on the meter outside, and was back in my car with 25 minutes still left. I will go to Pixels every time, and you should too! read more

Yes, I'm an actress, and yes, I have my headshots printed from here. First off, Pez is the man! He gets the job done asap. I will have a prompt response always and results within days. The only complaint-- The headshots are not quite 8x10, meaning I have to cut my resume smaller to fit to size. That's a pain in the butt, but other than that........... Four Stars! read more

All the reviews on Yelp are correct! Pixels is one of the best hidden gems for actors in LA.
