Pixels is a newer barcade that is located in Downtown Rolesville. A group of us stopped in to check it out to play a few games and grab a beer. The glassware for the cocktails look cute and they also have food so will need to try that next time. I thought that they had a good mix of games like claw machines, basketball, big buck hunt, air hockey, classic arcade games and more. It was a fun way to pass time. On a side note, go after 8PM if you want to go when children are not allowed.

I was excited to check out Pixels. There was a parking lot located in front of the business. The decor inside was retro and colorful. We came on a Saturday afternoon & it was busy. There were a variety of people inside including children. The business does have hours for adults only. There were a variety of arcade games and other games such as ice skeet ball inside. We sat at the bar and ordered our food. Our bartender was attentive. I got the Buffalo wings & the kirbylicious drink. The wings were good. They were served hot and were tender. My drink was cute as it was pink and was topped with cotton candy. It tasted ok and was basically a milk based drink but I didn't get a buzz or taste any alcohol in the drink. I would not get it again.

Seems like a decent arcade that was giving a smaller boxcar vibe. The staff here were pleasant. The menu has an overwhelming amount of food and drink offerings. The Seoul empanada was very different but good. It's an acquired taste at first. Very juicy and extremely meaty. I enjoyed it in the end after I got used to the taste. Korean bbq flavored beef and slaw was inside. I also enjoy the cauliflower bites with a side of buffalo and blue cheese for dipping. I would've preferred the cauliflower tossed in the buffalo sauce. Everything was pretty good. The strawberry slushy was also pretty good. The space was super crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The parking was effortless. I would return only if I'm in the area and looking for things to do.

This is a great place to go to with the family or out with friends. Great mix of classic and modern games, good food, and drinks. The space is clean, the staff is friendly, great vibes. We normally go around 5 pm as a family and see a mix of other families, teenagers, and couples that are both young and old. It's a fun place to get out and have fun no matter the age. Highly recommend!

A cool new place in downtown Rolesville! Menu is many different apps and unique empanada flavors - everything we had was good. We would recommend the wine...and we aren't wine snobs they had some interesting cocktails on the menu, but they all sounded sweet and overwhelming. You can either order from the bar or use QR codes at the table to order online and they bring it to you. The games in the restaurant are all pretty standard, classic games.

We went in last night after spending some time in downtown Raleigh. It's still fairly new. I think small tables to set your drinks on while playing would set this place off. Some of the arcade games are our coins which really sucked. We enjoyed playing basketball, skeeball and guitar hero together. I think to attract more adults interactive games we can play together would be a lot of fun. This place is similar to boxcar in downtown but much more low key. It's family friendly until 8. We didn't have any table top space because families were still in the facility past 8. Children were running around Playing arcade games. There's two air hockey tables in the back but they were taken while we were there. We had fun but definitely felt that more interactive games to play together would have kept us there longer. Mario kart, the big connect 4, the big jenga even. Little things like that would go a long way in keeping people entertained while drinking. We would definitely go back in the future! Loved the vibe and the decorations her. The bathroom is super cute.

Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

My daughter occasionally convinces me to go here and I'm reminded every time that I hate it. I will say, however, that my interactions with the staff are pleasant. They're friendly and helpful. They are only reason this isn't a 1 star review. Stars and Strikes is a much better deal for similar fun imo.

Played the arcade games for a while and yes more expensive than Chuck E. Cheese haha but my kids enjoyed getting some plushies out from the claw machines and playing the virtual game . We reserved 1 lane for bowling the tables there were a bit too close together but that's probably expected since it's a small area with high stools and we have 3 small children so we finished bowling then went to the main area to get a table with regular seating to eat . The staff was really attentive and friendly took our order and the food was out pretty quickly. We ordered wings , fries and mac and cheese all very good . All in all we had a great time .

I'm new to the sport but picked it up quickly after multiple rounds of practice throws. To partake in axe throwing, you are first briefed by a staff member on safety and technique. Once that's done, you are ready to pick up your axe and try your hand at hitting the target board. The staff member who oversaw our group is a great coach. There is a full bar available with menus at each table. Our group ordered multiple pizzas. As one who is picky with pizza, I can say that the pizza here is "good." I wasn't too excited about it, though I'm glad to have a slice. The weekday crowd was slim. I imagine weekends are busier. Overall, I had a pleasant time and would enjoy another round of axe throwing. Or I can sit in the lounge seats at the front, sit at the bar, or come when there's a major sports event on TV.

Several of the axe throwing stalls were open so we started there. Then we did the pirate putt putt, and it was amazing! The effort they put into the decorations and hole designs was evident. Next we tried out the arcade area, which is much larger than you would think from the outside. From there we tried the second putt putt area with a retro feel; even the music was spot on. We wrapped up with mini bowling and had a blast. The food is reasonably priced but nothing special. We would have spent more if they had a kitchen/ grill like you would find at a bowling alley. The drinks ranged from bottled water to sports drinks to soda to alcohol. Overall the building and equipment were clean and well maintained. The staff were very nice and helpful. The majority of the building is accessible, including the multi-stall bathrooms and activities like mini bowling. Other than the gendered multi-stall bathrooms there are several single stall gender neutral bathrooms but only one was in service when we went. The single stall bathrooms are located inside the entrance to the retro putt putt, inside the arcade area, and just before you get to the VR area.

But for parents to be aware it can be a little pricey to do many of the options they have. So do your research before going. Overall we had a wonderful time with the family.
