Never notified me of the cost (1200$, which btw you can find the exact one on Amazon for 100$), but more importantly I never signed a form for consent. When I received the initial charge and asked to see the signature for the brace, I immediately notified the office multiple times that the signature was not mine. However the front desk would deny my calls and play it off as if I didn't want to pay the bill, nor would return my calls for months... as opposed to the serious allegation that the form was forged. Incredibly disappointing from such a highly regarded doctor, as I've never had an issue with his counterpart in the practice.

Personally I don't think anyone can comment on the treatment style of 30 minutes with your…read moretherapist for 1-1 and 30 minutes of supervised exercises while working with the next patient UNLESS YOU OWN A COMPANY THAT TAKES INSURANCE !!!!! So read that stance again- this practice TAKES INSURANCE. For most people that means nothing- there's an assumption of we have insurance so a practices should take it. As an insurance accepting practice myself- that is NOT how it works. Small medical practice's (solo woman owned / mom and pop establishments etc like this one)- take a HUGE hit when accepting insurance contracts for their reimbursement. At this point many small business are getting paid HALF of what their cash only / self pay only counterparts are getting paid. Also- keep in mind, an insurance contract doesn't increase with inflation, cost of living, rising employer salaries etc.... I give the business lesson because it's only fair for people to be informed as to why a business structure is what it is for the sake of survival... Now on to the actual PRACTITIONERS- this staff is honestly saving people from surgeries, worsening conditions, and maladaptive body patterns... I've been working with them for 8-9 years and my mom now drives from VA to go to them as well. They're priceless in their cleanliness, knowledge, anatomy and functionality awareness plus FULL body attention. I cannot express how many times a DOCTOR or SURGEON has sent me in for an issue- and they've figured out it's stemming from somewhere totally different ! They also are certified to do dry needling and that's PRICELESS !!

The quality of care is pretty good (friendly, knowledgeable). However, the billing process and…read morepatient portal are frustrating to the point of this being too stressful of a practice to go to. I can't be certain I am not overpaying for services here. You get constant reminders to pay your balance (sometimes pay or you can't schedule) BUT the portal only shows billing statements (an unclear pdf of the visits there *was* an outstanding balance for). It's unclear because the portal does NOT give you the option to see (1) Past payments you made, (2) An explanation or summary of WHY your balance is what it is. CFAO (the people behind PhysioDC) also don't necessarily map your checks to the specific appt -- so it's impossible to track why you STILL have a balance despite you having sent a check each time you were billed. Very stressful, unclear. It's not right to have a payment balance and not make it easy for patients to understand where the balance is coming from (or dispute it).

I regret coming here. I trusted Chris because of his years of experience but this was the worst…read moreexperience I've ever had with a pt. Similar to another poster, I spent around 15 minutes with Chris per session and even less when he was late (often 10-15 min after my appt time) getting me from the waiting room. He'd juggle 3 patients at once (nobody else at the clinic did this) and even when he didn't have this many patients I was alone while he was on the other side of the clinic or he just disappeared completely. When I brought up concerns about pain (not muscle pain or soreness), he'd just brush off my concerns and rush through my questions. Older reviews mentioned how friendly the pts are but this was not my experience. Chris was nice at first but then was checked out. Most of the time he was either glued to his computer looking at restaurant menus or chatting with his friends who came to see him. The final straw was hearing him make completely inappropriate comments.

I had an appointment with Dr. John Ferrell on September 12, 2024, at the ROSM Washington, DC office…read morebut left before seeing him because I was not seen in a timely manner and left after an inappropriate time to wait. This is the second time I have experienced this problem with ROSM including previously in July with another doctor in the practice. Both times I was taken to an examining room in a timely manner and was left to wait in the room. After over 30 minutes, I left the room and spoke to one of the staff to ask if there was a problem. Both times I was told that the doctor was with another patient and would be in to see me in a while. My first complaint, therefore, is that it is not the patient's responsibility to determine why there is a delay. The doctor should instruct his/her staff to let the patient know that there is a delay and what are the patient's alternatives. Both times the staff person apologized for which I appreciate their apologies. An apology by a staff person, however, does not indicate that there will be any change in how waiting patients are informed of delays. On September 12, 2024, the staff person told me that the doctor was in a room with no clock, which is not an excuse but demonstrates poor planning by the doctor. Therefore, my second complaint is that the ROSM Washington, DC office is poorly managed and fails to properly plan appointment times for patients. I will not be returning to this practice for any reason.

Here, 6 months later, I'm so happy to say that I'm pretty much at 95% of what I used to be. She saved my knee with needling, exercises, and manual therapy. I cannot day enough good things about her and the entire practice, and I recommend them to literally everyone I know if they so much as mention discomfort. Past physical therapists said the hip pain was because of compensation from my ankle. Dr Stein it likely was something different but gave no recommendations for how to address it independently. I previously had the same surgery on my right foot with a different orthopedic surgeon, and the recovery was extremely long and painful. Because of that experience, I was honestly nervous going into this procedure. However, Dr. Schipper completely changed my expectations. I experienced minimal pain and very little swelling, and the healing process was fast and smooth. The incision work was excellent -- only three small incisions that healed beautifully. The difference in recovery compared to my prior surgery was night and day. Dr. Schipper is not only highly skilled but also very kind and reassuring. He takes time to explain everything and makes you feel prepared and comfortable before surgery. The office staff is also wonderful -- responsive, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. You can truly tell he is very experienced in this procedure. I've even referred people I know to him, and they've had great outcomes as well. If I ever needed this surgery again, I would choose Dr. Schipper without hesitation. I highly recommend him. Terry

Then you enter a room with three unnumbered doors and are left to wonder which is the right one. In 50 minutes, he literally got to... my hamstrings and calves. That's it. He just dug his elbow in for so long, at times I wondered if he fell asleep. On top of that, he was disgustingly coughing. When it's your job to touch people, you shouldn't work when sick. Periodically he would awkwardly ask if I was ok. Then at the end, he said "I know you wanted art but you weren't wearing shorts so I couldn't do it. We can do it next time." He couldn't have mentioned that in the beginning of the session? I actually had shorts in my bag but at no point did he tell me To change. He just motioned for me to go to the table. So, I basically feel like I wasted $160. His communication was awful. I guess my hamstrings feel more loose than they have in a while, hence the three stars. But I also feel extremely lopsided because my quads are still tight. Because he never touched them. As a sports massage therapist, he should know it's really bad to have extreme muscle imbalances like that.

My son suffered a serious tibial tubercle avulsion fracture in July that required emergency…read moresurgery, and his recovery has been extraordinary. I truly believe so much of that progress is the result of the care, attention, and expertise he has received at CNMR. I especially want to recognize Jonathan M. Kula and our physical therapist Megan Hartnett. Jonathan's assessment was incredibly thorough and thoughtful. I reached out after calling several places but wasn't getting my questions answered. I left a message and Jonathan called back within an hour. He made time for us to come in the next day (even though he was booked solid) and even offered to meet me and my son in front of the building in case I needed help getting into the office. He and Megan Hartnett took the time to understand my son's injury, read all of the reports, asked pertinent questions, and then proceeded to explain to us the plan and process for his recovery. His first priority was getting my son mobile and moving forward safely and confidently. That level of attention gave us tremendous reassurance during what had been a very stressful experience for our family. Megan Hartlett has been equally exceptional throughout his rehabilitation. She has approached his physical therapy with such care, patience, and skill, while also knowing when to challenge him and help him recognize how much progress he is making. Watching him regain his strength, mobility, and confidence has been remarkable. We still have a ways to go but here we are over the half way mark and I'm happy. There is a big difference between simply providing treatment and truly caring about a patient's recovery. Jonathan and Megan have made us feel that difference every step of the way. We still have more of the recovery journey ahead of us, but I wanted to take a moment now to give them both a very special shout-out and to say how grateful we are for the care my son has received. This isn't a fancy 10,000 square foot facility that looks super slick. I've been to those and nothing compares than the personal patient care. And every single person here--from the warm welcoming smile of Ms. Sharon to the other PTs I've never even met but see in passing--all have been nothing but kind, courteous and caring. This is a special practice that deserves special recognition.

But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do. I even convinced my own wife to give Jordan a try as her PT and she truly understood what I was talking about. The front office staff is always helpful and polite Every time I call she picks up immediately and it's very helpful. They take my type of insurance which would be a dealbreaker if they did not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Every appointment with Dr Jordan, I leave feeling heard, encouraged, and like real progress is being made. If you're looking for a PT who will treat you like a whole person and not just a case file, look no further. Highest possible recommendation! It'll be a sad day when I no longer have any PT issues.
