We had a lovely tour, it was so fun and very informative! Our tour guide was great. You could tell he was passionate about the company. You also receive samples as part of the tour....there's no shortage either!! This is a GREAT way to try many of their beers. Highly recommend!

The Old German Premium Lager, a nice refreshing beer to sit down to!

Steve and I recently had a beer from Pittsburgh Brewing Company and it was a positive experience! We had the Old German which is an American style lager. The flavor profile with this lager is sweet, clean, perhaps a hint of apple. The body of the beer is light and smooth. It would be a perfect beer to have with bratwurst or a hamburger and I think that is the gist towards that anyway. Glad to continue to keep trying out breweries I haven't had before despite many of them closing at a rapid rate this day and age.

Nothing like a good ole IC Light when staying in the burgh! We actually did the walk in reservation for the brewery tour and had an awesome time! They actually give you a decent amount of beer samples! I was feeling pretty good leaving there. We met some awesome folks too on the tour. All around a great afternoon spent at the Iron City Brewing Company.

Here for a concert. And this is just the PRE PARTY. Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Food trucks are here. Nothing says Pittsburgh like hunky food and Iron City! @pittsburgh Pierogi truck! #pittsburghpierogitruck I have to say the venue is great. Need to adjust the logistics of the food, drink and bathrooms in the field. But I would attend another event there. Parking is crap in the largest lot. Would be nice to have shuttles. After a long day in the sun the walk is killer. There should have been additional access with those that had vip access. Worthless paying the extra money for 3-4 hours of paying $8-12 a drink. When everything was the same price on the lawn side and the lines were 4x as long

We went on the PBCo (Iron City Beer/Pittsburgh Brewing Co) tour and it was great! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. So much history, the samples were great too. I didn't know they made liquor also! Got a 5th of Gin, can't wait to try. They do whiskeys as well! fun tour, worth the time and money. Plus they hold events there, which I didn't know about.

I absolutely adore Pittsburgh Brewing! I have been here 2 times now- the beer tour/brewery tour, and the distillery tour. Both were awesome!! I learned so much. My fiancé and I are Iron City and IC Light fanatics so it was so fun to go and check out the process of how our favorite beer is made. We also loved the Distillery tour! I learned so much about whiskey and I'm not even a big whiskey drinker. The employees are extremely kind and knowledgeable, they are so in depth with the tours. Definitely a super cool experience and worth checking out Pittsburgh Brewing if you have the chance!

Great place to go watch a Steeler game, with options inside at the taproom bigscreen or outside in the lot where a humongous screen is set up. Drats are reasonably priced, staff is friendly, and it's a fun place to go with a good crowd, but not too crowded. I'll definately do it again!

    We sampled everything! Great offerings

I enjoyed learning about the origins of the name and the history of the area. After a quick review of the character of the neighborhood, our first stop was Angelo's Pizzeria. Richard talked about the history of pizza in the US and the proper way to eat a slice. The pizza was tasty and fresh. I'll likely be back for more. Our next stop was Groceria Italiana where we met the shop owner. It was impressive hearning about how all the pasta and other items are fresh made in the downstairs kitchen. So impressive that at the conclusion of the tour, I stopped back in to buy some pasta, meatballs and a few other items. Having just returned from a trip to Italy, it was nice to find food similar in taste and quality to what we experienced there. Our third stop was to Maria Merante's. After a quick visit to her shop, we were escorted upstairs to try some iced expresso and to learn more about her shop. She offers cooking classes and group dinners. I can't wait to check out the schedule and see when I can return! Our last stop was Donatelli's where we sampled a biscotti. It was interesting to see the contrast between the commercial kitchen of Donatelli's and the small mom and pop feel of Groceria Italiana. We learned about the machinery and process they use to make their pasta. The tour was great and I plan to check out other options for different neighborhoods to bring friends and family to when they visit Pittsburgh. The day concluded with a trip via bus to the Church Brewworks. The setting was stunning and the brews fantastic. There were a few issues such as no brewer and a late bus, but with an ample supply of tasty beer, those issues didn't matter much. A fantastic experience all around!

Awesome indoor outdoor hybrid with the open garage doors. The outdoor space has real chairs & tables and not picnic tables now, I wasn't a fan of the old tables they didn't seem very sturdy. There's also a fire pit in the upper part of the patio. Would be an awesome place to see some live music and get your brew on! Beer is all very good as well. I got a flight today of the razz lager, summer splash, IPA, and octoberfest. I liked them all but summer splash was by far my favorite, very fruity and fresh. Surprisingly, as someone who loves raspberry, the razz lager was my least favorite, still drinkable and good though just not my first option. Food was ok. I had the pulled pork melt with the coleslaw and my dad had the beef melt with mac n cheese. The melt didn't have any sauce on it, it comes on the side, so it was pretty dry. My dad remarked the same thing about his melt. The chips it comes with are clearly out of a bag but I actually really liked them. The coleslaw was bare bones - I mean probably the dryest coleslaw I've ever had. I'm not even sure if it was supposed to be a vinegar or mayo based slaw, it was literally completely dry. I ended up putting some of the bbq sauce on it. We both got a side of beer cheese which was a showstopper, especially with the chips.

The place was bustling in the middle of the afternoon, and I was lucky to secure the last stool at the bar. The espresso martini drew my eye, and I thought I should have a snack to go with it.
