They did not have the room that I booked and gave me an accessible room instead. 2. They had me listed for one night and despite showing my Costco reservation, they charged me for the extra night that I paid for. I had to call Costco Travels and they called the hotel to rectify this. The front desk is rude to the core especially "Kemoy" (he was on duty the day I had to check out. He also gave me a hard time when I requested a late checkout on Monday when the hotel was empty. The Manager was even more disappointing. Despite my call at 8:30 AM with the front desk requesting that I speak to the manager until my check out around 11:45 AM, he did not have the time to meet with me. As a Hilton honors member, I felt let down by the quality of service extended to me. Murali

In no circumstances should bed bugs be taken lightly, but when we conveyed our grievances, we were completely dismissed. The front desk clerk tried to urge her manger that our case was urgent. After calling the manager however, she then informed us that her manager, Emma Mallick, said it was her off day and she was busy. They made no effort to reassure or compensate our stay at another location. Instead we had to beg for a refund AND receipt showing we were reimbursed. When being assertive about our experience (and telling them we had bed bug bites) they then proceeded to call the cops. Luckily the cops were very understanding of our situation, and we were finally given our recipt. t's so common for Black and Brown people to be policed when expressing our grievances regarding how we've been mistreated, and not serviced correctly. We made no threats or physically harmed anyone, but the cops were still called because we expressed our service was unacceptable after not only discovering bed bugs, but being bitten by them. I will also like to add that after the lead house keeper showed us the bed bugs, she informed us that for the last 6 months they've been experiencing a bed bug problem. So I repeat, do not stay here under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I've attached pictures of the BED Bugs and my bites, I can't upload the video :/

Tera, Conway, and Terry were all amazing, very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. The outdoor space was nice, and the staff even invited us to join them out back while they were cooking, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pool area was clean and warm, and there was a nice area across the street with a couple of places to eat, enjoy cocktails, and play games. There was also a shopping center about two miles away, which was very convenient. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely book here again.

The hotel is very clean and the lobby had plenty of seating and even some board games. The back of the hotel had a patio with a grill and even a basketball court. The gym was a little basic but it's a hotel gym I'm not expecting it to look like a Planet Fitness: Miniature Size. The only things holding this back: The breakfast is a big hit or miss. The pulled pork I had on saturday was so dry and unflavorful I nearly choked. The milk was also room temp (not great for cereal!), the handicap rooms are also way too far from the elevators (right near an exit for a staircase but if someone is in a wheelchair that doesn't help much). Additionally despite the hotel being as big as it is, there are only two luggage carts I waited almost an hour when I checked in and checked out. Doesn't help when some guests can't be bothered to bring the carts down after use and just leave them unattended in the middle of their hotel room floor. Also the sleeper couch is very uncomfortable woke up with neck and back discomfort and pain every morning :/.

I stayed here for a conference and was overall very happy with my stay…read more The check in process was smooth and easy. I needed to leave a deposit of $50 per night which seems pretty standard. The staff was friendly and efficient, but didn't offer any guidance as to where the elevators were, what time check out was (the standard stuff they usually tell you at check in). Not a big deal, but those little touches can make a difference. The room itself was spacious and clean. I had a king bed and it was clean and comfortable. The pillows kind of stunk. They basically sunk down to nothing as soon as you laid on them. I was glad I had so many extras because I was able to have a little more support with all the extra pillows. The showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in them. The shower head had multiple settings, but the water pressure was a little lower than I would have expected. I'm not sure if that is a common occurrence or it was just the time that I took a shower. I was near the elevator so I did hear elevator and guest noise, but it generally wasn't something that kept me up or anything. The conference facilities were beautiful and the food was delicious. Overall, a great stay.

The staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, and the amenities worked well. I was also please that the room was pretty spacious. Walls are a bit thin. Biggest downside here is that the hotel is huge and there is just one guest elevator. If you are at the end of the hall, be prepared for a walk. Breakfast was pretty good, but frankly for what it is should be included in the room rate. The restaurant next door, Jacksons, is very good, at a price point just above the hotel.

What a surprisingly awesome Holiday Inn!…read more I generally hold somewhat lower expectations when staying at a hotel in this price range (my room cost $123 one night; $108 the next). I completely underestimated this gem!! Upon entering, the lobby was clean, well-lit, and comfortable; at this time, decorated for Christmas. Check-in was easy, and we soon found ourselves in a spacious king room with modern decor. Everything smelled and looked brand new and well-maintained. The bed was ultra-comfortable. The bathroom featured a large, walk-in shower. The bathroom toiletries are basic and rather low-end, so bring your own if you have more high maintenance needs. Bonuses: FREE breakfast that was actually super delicious! I do secretly love those simple little omelettes, filled with American cheese, that I top with salsa. The biscuits and gravy was also top-notch! FREE Wi-Fi Overall, a comfortable, clean, well-appointed hotel for a tremendous value! I will definitely be a repeat guest when traveling to the Canonsburg area.

3.5 Oldie but a…read moreGoodie. This Holiday Inn Express and Suites is located in the affluent Southpointe area near Canonsburg and close to shops, restaurants, gyms, condos, and schools. I chose this hotel strictly due to the price, as the other two hotels close by, the AC Hotel and the newly renovated Homewood Suites, were priced much higher at the time of my booking. I booked a massive one-bedroom king room at a very reasonable rate. This hotel is an older style of Holiday Inn and Suites and does not have the modern look of newer Holiday Inn and Suites. The decor and the furniture seem very 90's or early 2000s style; even the TVs in my room were more than 10 years old. However, the room was clean and very spacious. One odd item to note was that the room had a kitchenette, but all of the cupboards and drawers were empty. No plates, glasses, or cutlery were available. The bedroom had its own TV and heating/AC unit; the bathroom had a shower and toilet, with the sink outside the bathroom. The main living area had a desk, a table and chairs and a kitchen island with additional seating. The lobby is massive and opulent, with a very large area for dining and eating the complimentary breakfast. There is a business center and additional meeting rooms on the first floor. One highlight was the fitness room, which was in a very large room with an abundance of fitness equipment, which was perfect for a three-night stay and allowed me to change up my daily workouts. The hotel comes with a pool, but the pool area has no humidity control, or at least it wasn't on or working during my stay, which made staying in that area very uncomfortable, especially on a hot and muggy summer day. The guest laundry has two washers and two dryers, and you have to pay by credit card or use an app that allows you to pre-pay the fees and use the equipment through the app. The breakfast was good and abundant with multiple hot and cold choices, but on one of the days, with more than 30 minutes left in the breakfast service, most of the hot food was finished, and I was told they weren't going to replenish it. Aside from that, I had an overall pleasant stay. The hotel could use a modernization at some point, as the rooms have no USB or USB-C charging ports but many electrical outlets available for chargers. The channel selection is basic satellite with no streaming capability. Wifi is strong enough for general use and multiple devices. If you are looking for an affordable stay in the area, this hotel might work for you.
