I had two vehicles registered with them, and I had to contact my financial institution to make sure that they don't pay the transactions this place is garbage, they are thieves. I live in Metairie La and am sometimes in Slidell. I have twice used your facility over the past Year. I used a different credit card each time for payment to get my car washed. As with other customer reviews from your many interstate locations, I was unaware of the so called membership contract. I didn't realize that EACH card that I used was being charged monthly. In total I've paid hundreds of dollars for only two car washes!!! When I contacted your compan to complain, I was told that I would not get a refund and that all she could do is cancel the memberships. She assured me that I would get an emailed confirmation of the cancellations. I have not received the email after calling three times. In checking with the local manager, he is not authorized to do anything and said that my contracts are still active. I am reporting this to my credit card companies as this "business practice" is fraudulent! I am also reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, the St Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office the Federal Trade Commission. read more

This is a great facility. $5, $8 or $12 car washes OR $19 for the unlimited car washes. I don't have the details on the unlimited, but if you live on the Northshore it'd be worth inquiring. So you drive in & select the desired car wash by the options & price. Pull forward & the fun begins. The guy outside the car wash tunnel has a long handled brush & uses it to scrub certain areas on your vehicle. Once inside windowed car wash tunnel, it appears like all the items that come in contact with your car are made of soft foamy materials this is great because I'm always concerned about these automated car wash machines. Once you're done, left to exit or right to the FREE vacuums. This is great because vacuuming is an extra added expense, but here ITS FREE!!!!! Air fresheners, leather wipes, dashboard wipes, etc all for sale as needed near the vacuums. This is a 2-manned facility, so don't go looking for anyone to vacuum your car, like I did. Lol. Just kidding. No complaints, just wish it was on the SOUTHSHORE!!!! read more

Get your shine on! Look. I know that automobile purists will rant and rave about how you shouldn't take your car through automatic washes. I know all about the two bucket method with grit guards, foam guns, etc. I have all that stuff. But sometimes I don't have hours to detail my car and love bugs decided to bang all up on my bumper. So if you're like me and occasionally need a drive-thru wash, this place should be on your list. Pit Stop is conveniently located on Gause not to far from Interstate 10. It is literally down the street from Starbucks so getting a cup of coffee, snack and a wash is easy peasy. Despite being on Gause, you actually enter from the side street right past the wash. Don't try driving over the curb unless you've got a Jeep. Once in the lot there are two lanes with touchscreens where you select your wash. Prices start very reasonably and top out at around $15. For $15 you get tire shine and liquid wax which will help make your car shine a little longer than the lesser washes. One issue I did have was that the tire shine was not as high quality as other similar washes I've used in the past. My tires were more of a matte look than the high gloss I expect. That aside, this is still a great wash. PS Don't peel out and cut a donut on Gause when you leave. Sure you look cool, but the po-po don't play. read more

I realize I'm subjecting myself here to be teased and I suppose that's ok with me. I have never been to a car wash that moves your vehicle along. My normal car wash is one where you pull in, put it in park and get sprayed and scrubbed. I was in the area, however, with a filthy vehicle and noticed Teneha's review so I decided to give this place a try. Little did I know I was about to be scared sh*tless. I purchased my wash and pulled up to the entrance of the car wash. Two guys started scrubbing my tires and one motioned to the sign that said "Place your vehicle in neutral". So what do I do? Put it in park. Because (don't laugh) I thought neutral and park were the same thing. I know, I know. So the car conveyor belt starts to move my vehicle along and my car starts to go kind of crazy. Like it was in a crazy rap video bouncing all over the place. One guy starts laughing hysterically and the other motions for me to roll down my window. "Ma'am," he says, "put it in neutral." Ohhhhhhhh. Alright. I think I turned five shades of red. Once I did that and started moving along, my car got the best bath ever. Then I was able to make the inside shine as much as the outside did with the (free with the purchase of a carwash) vacuums. When I left I purchased a monthly pass to have my car washed an unlimited amount for 20 bucks a month. More importantly, I learned something new that day. With three car washing options from basic to extreme and the top wash is $12 you can't beat that. They have people on site to help select your wash type and also pre-spray and scrub the front and sides and back of your car before entering in the actual car wash. The car wash seems to be kept free of sand and gravel which can scratch the paint. It's a fairly new car wash and gets the job done! They have free vacuums and trash cans next to them to clean your car out and they are not timed at all so you can spend the extra time vacuuming ALL the dirt!!! If you have spots still on your car, the attendant walks around the lot asking to make sure you are satisfied with their work and if not he will send it back through the wash. Very nice staff. Not a whole lot you can say about car washes. This is the best one I have found in Slidell. I believe it's 3 options you have for a wash. $8, $12 and $15. I get the $12 which gives me a nice and shiny new looking car. It also does a great job on your rims and tires, something that most car washes do not. read more

This is the only do-the-interior-yourself place I have ever been pleased with. The experience starts with choosing your wash. The kiosk is touch screen and very easy to use. There are three options with the most expensive being $12. I was not given a receipt and aside from hopping out of my car and dodging the traffic to speak with one of the wash attendants, there was no available assistance. I opted to forego the receipt and head forth. The machine was already programmed for my service, so I was never asked for a receipt or any other indication of what wash I was receiving. Pull forward, throw your car in neutral, take your foot OFF the brake, and enjoy the ride. After the exterior wash, you may either leave or loop around into the vacuum bays. At other car washes, I blow off the vacuuming because the one or two stations are usually occupied and I am too impatient to wait. Pit Stop has plenty of vacuum stations, enough that there were still a few empty spots on this beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. I didn't feel pressured to hurry up and get out to let someone else have a turn. I know this sounds geeky, but I love the vacuums. First of all, they are free to use. Just hit the button and it turns on... and it STAYS ON for a sufficient amount of time. It only took about 3-4 button pushes to thoroughly vacuum my dual cab Tundra. Also, the vacuum hose is finished with a flat wide nozzle, so you can vacuum out your crevices (strike that.... you can vacuum out your VEHICLE'S crevices, not yours... well I guess you could... nevermind...) as opposed to the round nozzles that are awkward and don't really fit in tight spaces. They are also pretty powerful, I was able to get rid of some major built up salt deposits (from a recent MN trip) without much fuss. Also at each vacuum bay are clamps to hang your floor mats so you can give those a good vac job AND get them out of the way so you can clean underneath them. Each station each has a trash can so you don't have to haul garbage half way down the road. I do not understand why more places don't offer this. Now, for everything else that is interior related. There is a giant vending machine that offers a variety of cleaning supplies based on your needs, from all-purpose cleaner and leather conditioner, to window wipes and chamois cloths (plus a few other things). Each are available for $1, and each item SHOULD handle the entire vehicle, unless you've been exceptionally messy or have children or pets that love to lick windows... then you MIGHT need to double up on a thing or two. If you do not like streaks or spots, I would highly recommend the chamois to finish drying, my truck was left very spotty. Overall, I would say this place is a win! read more

I am probably one out of 100people who actually pay attention to what sprayers, soapers, rinsing spray, wax sprayers, etc are actually working as I am pulled through the car wash. Well today 5/19/19 there were several soapers and sprayers completely out of service meaning I was getting no soap wax or proper rinse for my car. The guy I reported it to got sarcastic with me and acted like it was MY problem. I left with freakin soap and half a** wax all over my car. I proceeded around to find the exit only to have an attendant running towards my vehicle yelling at me to "turn around", "back up", "we're closed". I told him there's no need to yell, I heard you from a distance. He proceeded to be sarcastic with a grin on his face saying have a good day. REALLY!!! I had a wash pass for over a year. Loved going there. It was super convenient and truck always came out clean. Over time the vacuums started not working very well the wash when you first enter the car wash didn't work for quite awhile. When I asked about it, I was rudely told a part was on back order. A week later the sprayer that rinses you vehicle wasn't working at all. That's when I cancelled my monthly membership (figured I wasn't going enough to justify it anyway.) When I went to express to them why I was canceling it, again I was talked to in a rude manner and was told the part was on back order. Like a dummy I went in again a few weeks later (like I said, it's convenient.) Halfway thru I noticed it wasn't rinsing again. Now I'm a little aggravated. Asked for a refund and again explained why I was and was told the pump was $4000 that they couldn't afford it.?.? I asked why would they still be open and charging people 5-15$ a wash if they couldn't rinse off their vehicles? I was asked to leave after I was refunded my money. There's no reason this place cannot offer a better service the way they did when they opened. read more
