Pelican Pointe operates a number of car washes both in N.O. and in the metro area. The price for…read moretheir single washes which includes access to heavy duty vacuums is pretty standard. I think the quality of the wash is acceptable, my only gripe being that sometimes after the wash there are little patches of soap remaining but this only happens now and then. What I like about Pelican Pointe is that they have monthly plans if you want to wash you car regularly. Like the single washes, they are also tiered from economy to super splurge level. If you frequently wash your car these passes will save you a ton of money. They give you a sticker on your windshield which is automatically recognized by the computer when you pull up and the arm raises. With this pass you can just roll in there like a boss while everyone else is fumbling with cash / card. I live close to the New Orleans location on S. Claiborne which is a nice wash but I have to say the facilities were better at this location. Also, they have all these crazy lights throughout the wash. Going through the wash I found myself thinking, is this a car wash or a rave?! Or both!? In all this a a great place to keep your wheels clean and have a little party in your car with the colorful lights.

I pointed out the poor job to the manager who agreed it was not up to par. He told me to come back on a day I had time to let them try again. On my way home, I had to stop at a red light. When I applied the brakes my antenna shot off and flew into the middle of 6 lanes of traffic after scratching my hood on its way down. I returned about a week later as the manager had told me. I was informed them of the antenna incident which the manager commented "That sucks." I requested a new antenna and was told he had to get it from the Slidell location. After numerous phone calls and run around I was told to get my own antenna and I would be reimbursed. I ordered my own replacement but have yet to be reimbursed. I've written this place and its Slidell location off and warn people that the meth presence is strong at this place. If you're on the Northshore and need window tint, this is where you should go…read more I have wanted to get my windows tinted for a very long time. It isn't that I believe I am a celebrity and need to hide form the public. But tinted windows make your car look and feel cooler. Since I need all the help I can get when it comes to looking and staying cool, I made the decision to tint my windows. Northshore was super easy to get an appointment. I called, set it up for the next day, and was texted a confirmation. On the day of my appointment I arrived and they immediately went to work. They are a husband and wife team. The husband does the tint and the wife runs the office. Both are super personable and enjoyable to talk with. He does great work installing quality tint and she does a great job of explaining the process and making you feel comfortable. Over the past couple of months I have gotten the front windows of my personal vehicle tinted to match the factory tint. On this job they did a perfect match and it was super fast. I also got all of the windows of my work car tinted which completely changed the look of it. I can't say enough good things about their work. Seriously, I couldn't be more happy. I would upload photos of the tint job but then you would know what I drive. Just picture something cool with perfectly tinted windows.
