The space is currently operating as a coffee-shop-bistro-lunch-spot in a less than desirable section of town. It is admirable that the owners wanted to move a gay bar into a more visible location, but many of the patrons are not so happy about being on a "I'm not going there after 8pm" kind of street. However unlike most bars, gay establishments tend to bring a positive influence to an area because we tend to have more disposable income. So with the perseverance of our gay forefathers the little gay bistro is plowing ahead with the new format. My vote is move closer to downtown if you can, but until then I wish you well.
