Nothing was actually fixed. I trusted them because I saw their commercials everywhere and figured a company that big would know what they were doing. I was wrong. They came in, did their "assessment," and told me exactly what needed to be done. I paid for two walls to be repaired. When it was done, I thought the nightmare was finally over. It wasn't. The water still comes in at every edge; it's the exact same places they told me they were sealing. When I actually looked at what they'd done, it wasn't a real repair at all. It looked like plastic sheeting stapled up behind the wall. For $30,000. I am a senior, and I feel like I was taken advantage of and scammed by this company. Now there's mold growing in my basement because of their failed work. I have a tenant living there, and she is pregnant. Black mold is not something you can ignore; it's a real health risk for her and her baby. This wasn't a minor issue. This should have been fixed correctly the first time for that kind of money. I am so disappointed and honestly disgusted. I trusted a company with a name that sounds official and reliable, "Foundation Recovery Systems," and instead I got a sloppy, careless, incomplete job that left my home in worse shape than before, with a health hazard on top of it. Do not make the same mistake I did. Get someone else. Get a real inspection. Do not trust this company with your home or your money.

Their pricing was very fair and when the crew arrived to do the work they were friendly, polite and capable. The work was done well and they left the work areas neat and clean, no mess or debris left behind. Weeks later a heavy rain revealed some leakage behind a couple electrical receptacles I had thought were too much trouble to remove and hoped we could get away with not sealing the cracks behind them. When I called them back they were on it immediately and scheduled a follow-up visit to address the leaks. I was able to remove the electrical boxes to give them access and found another 4 feet of cracks besides. They arrived right on time, repaired both the hidden and the newfound cracks and did it all at no charge, even though it was no fault of theirs. I am truly impressed with the quality of their people and their work. I could not recommend High and Dry any more highly.

We did a fair amount of internet research on the various suggested solutions and on the companies we had heard from. We selected Permajack of St. Louis both because we decided that their solution and methods seemed preferable and because their bid was reasonable ... not the lowest but not outlandish. Everything about dealing with them was professional. Calls were returned promptly. Questions answered quickly. The project was completed as promised and on time. The crew was respectful of our home and property and did everything they could to mitigate the noise and inconvenience. They even went so far as to hook up the washer and dryer when they were done, without being asked, after we expressed some concern about being able to use them while the cement cured. When the crew left, the work area was spotless and the whole process had been much less painful than we expected. I would absolutely recommend Permajack of St. Louis.

To our surprise it was way worse than we thought. Prior to finding Missouri Basement I had contacted a few other companies and they all told me that there was no real issue and the house would be fine. 6 months after moving in and renovating the entire house, new cracks appeared. I called Nathan at Missouri Basement and he came right over. Nathan informed me that the back of our house was sinking due to the dry weather we had and no rain. I knew he was correct, the floor had a huge slope that was never there before. I hired Missouri Basement and they were able to take care of the problem with extreme professionalism. After the piercing the back of the house and the walls being secured everything is perfect. Five stars all the way......

Two words that make every homeowner cringe are, "Wet basement"…read more It doesn't matter if it is inches deep or just minor seeping around the edges. It's still a major repair that needs immediate attention. It's better to do it, sooner than, later. My house has only a partial basement, the majority of it is finished crawl space. I have a laundry room upstairs, so all that is in my basement is the furnace and extensive shelving units for storage. With that being stated, I rarely have any need to go down into my basement. When I did venture down after one of the early spring down pours, I discovered I had an issue. It wasn't major, but I wanted it fixed before it became one. Again, being new to the RIverbend area, I reached out to friends and family for recommendations. Everyone of them said the same thing, "Midwest Basement". So it was a no-brainer on calling them to do the job. They came and gave me an estimate, explained what they would be doing and told me what I needed to move to make the work area more accessible. When scheduling a time, they were accommodating to my unique work schedule. Best of all, it was a smooth job and they completed the job faster and easier than anticipated. I could not have been happier with the work team. They were all very professional, friendly and respectful of my property. Their clean-up at the end of each day was impressive in itself. The weather has been dry since my work was completed, so I'm waiting for the next rain to really check things out. However, a friend who used them in the past, lived in his house for another 13 years after the work was completed and never had water again. I'm hoping for the same positive results.
