The place kept surprising me. From afar, it seems low-key risky, with lemonade stand sitting on a table under an umbrella. There were 4 clean tables with tilted colorful umbrellas over them placed outside a kitchen, like patio style, so there was no indoor seating. I went ahead and ordered my food for which I could pay using Apple Pay(!). Anyway, given the setting and the ambience I was expecting greasy tacos that had some salsa with it but oh my, was it far from it. The tacos were unexpectedly amazingly delicious. The chicken was well cut and freshly flavored, while it was not oily at all. Although they followed the good plain formula of onion, cilantro on corn tortilla, it turned out to be the best tacos I have ever had. I would definitely pick this place over any other fancy taco spots any day of the week. People were unassuming and courteous, checked with me and my friends whether the food was good. read more

Hi, WWOOOWW!! Was that ever good! Shared a pork quesadilla, grilled to perfection. I munched (part) of an Asda burrito. Wow!, Wow! That was so good! Hidden gem in the side parking lot of chevron. If you think $13 is expensive for a burrito, just wait until you see the portion! The flavors are spot on, great value for the price, and friendly service. I live about 30 min away from here but will definitely be making special trips just for this spot! Kept hearing about Pita's, just hadn't gotten there to try it out. Stopped in the other day and got a Chicken Fajita Burrito. I didn't weigh it, but it was probably at least 4 pounds!! GROSS!!!! I think there is some confusion about quantity over quality. Yes the servings are huge, but I have never has so much grease in a burrito. It was gross. When I went back up to order something different, I saw the flies around the uncovered rice and beans. I was done. The staff is very friendly. A woman sitting against the wall appeared to be the owner and or manager. As soon as she left with her very loud kids, I could hear the 2 employees expressing their relief. Pita's is one of those places you really want to keep a secret, but their food is too damn good to deny them of a 5-Star review. My husband and I have been to Pita's 6-7 times in the last 3 weeks because everything is so good! We've had their birria burrito, Phoenix burrito, quesadilla, tacos, tamales, and a breakfast burrito. The portions are very generous. With exception of the tacos and tamales, each item can probably be shared by 2 people and you'd get pretty full. This is my second review of Pita's Taqueria in Black Diamond. I tried this place after several months because I was craving the egg and chorizo burrito. I took a chance and it was bad. My biggest rant is when an establishment does not have something available that I either want or have been craving. If you don't have it, don't post it. I get it, sometimes you just don't have an item because you just simply didn't make enough or your vendor was late or there was a hail storm. I try to be understanding but when it's all the time, forget it. I should have never came. I ordered a chicken burrito and guess what? They didn't have chicken. I ordered Horchata and guess again? They didn't have that either. I'm done with this place, and aside from not having things to e egg and chorizo was no bueno, it had stale rice. And for the price that you are paying for the so called best burrito, no way man. Pita, you have good intentions but you need help. You can not run a business and not have things available. This place is awesome!!! I've seen it on yelp about a month back and tonight we finally made the 30 min drive from Bonney Lake to try it and it was worth every min of the drive!! If you want good food this is the place to go. The women there are so friendly even the woman in the chevron it's connected too was very sweet. Looked it up and saw the reviews, so thought we'd give it a try and so glad we did. We're not meat eaters, so we got the Rancho Veggie. First off, these burritos are HUGE! We took one look and thought there is no way in hell we could eat it one sitting but that we did. It was so good we couldn't stop. Will definitely be back again next time we're in Enumclaw. Wow! Pita's Taqueria at the Enumclaw Sales Pavilion, (22712 SE 436th St, Enumclaw, WA) is AMAZING. Pita talked with us after our breakfast there (rice and beans with an omelet? OK!) and we couldn't say enough good about the meal. I could only handle half the omelet because the rice and beans, that I normally don't care about, were fabulous. Best rice I've ever had! The all meat omelet was meaty and delicious. We also tried one of her HOME MADE TAMALES - I swear, I've never had a better one and I've been exploring Mexican food for 45 or more years! This is probably the best restaurant in Enumclaw and it's just a walk-up burrito stand. The burritos are absolutely massive and have tons of great ingredients. We drove from Seattle to get their tacos and buy more green hot sauce! Their food is that good! We love their carne asada and chicken tacos. We buy the green sauce to use over our eggs! This is the only Mexican food I will eat in the area. Hands down, the best Mexican food I've had in the north west. 10/10 on the food. Small warning to high risk individuals: they either don't require customers to wear masks or rarely enforce the policy. With food that good there are almost always people in line when I go. With how many cases there are in the area right now it makes me a little uncomfortable. Still giving 5 stars because we need give others the benefit of the doubt in hard times like these.
