They are under new ownership! New owners have really taken it to a new level! Cozy and clean restaurant and bar! The staff was fantastic especially the bartender Sebastian! The food was out of this world! Wait.... Out of this country lol most authentic Mexican food I've had outside Mexico! The prices are very reasonable, portions are extra large and flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend the Molcajete!!! It's seriously wonderful! So much food!

I recently departed an other local restaurant due to extremely slow service. Upon entering here I was seated promptly. I was offer a drink which was made from scratch an delivered in record time!! This place is family friendly, the service is extremely Fast! The price's reflect the current economic market.

I was quite surprised at their food. I wasn't expecting what I ordered which was the carne asada. It was really, REALLY good. The steak was tender and flavorful. Perfect plating. The service was good and was very friendly. It doesn't look like much on the outside or the inside, but they'll deceive you with their food. My new to-go mexican restaurant.

Best Mexican food I've found in WA since moving from FL. Didn't expect to find it in Enumclaw. Shame it's so far from where I stay in WA!

Pita's Taqueria - Carne asada fries

We visited Pita's Taqueria to pick up some portable food to eat while hiking at Mt. Rainier. This…read moreparticular restaurant is a food stand connected to a gas station with just a couple of seats outside. They're pretty efficient so we had our food within a couple of minutes. Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.

The shop itself was pretty tiny with only a few outside spots that were covered with grass, next to a gas station. We ordered some tacos and Carne Asada fries, and surprised that the price was pretty high. They all came out to $55 dollars. I think they should update their brochures and pamphlets with the recent price changes because it seemed like all the prices went up. When we got the food, the food itself tasted pretty good. I especially liked the Carne Asada fries with the potatoes and the seasoning, with the two sauces, red and green that they give us for extra flavor. Service was attentive, they were all really sweet and nice. People came back-and-forth just to pick up the food, it seems like a local hotspot. If visiting Enumclaw again would probably visit again.
