    Carnitas plate

This has been my go to Mexican place for the past 2 weeks. The flavor are amazing. Just little hints of spices that develop more as you continue to eat it. Their salsa bar is full of different level of hotness. The carnitas are the best I've had in Washington. Watch out for the fat if you don't care for it. It's like thick pieces of carnitas pulled from a whole pork shoulder so you get some of the fat layer found on the top of it. It was amazing to find so many different texture in the carnitas. Their other best are pretty good too, but the carnitas is the best. Their burritos are great. It's different from other Mexican places since they put in cabbage, or it might be lettuce but it's crunchier than normal lettuce. It adds a different spin to the burritos. Customer service is hit and miss. I recommend avoiding this place before 12pm and on Monday. The person there at those times leaves much to be desire from a customer service point of view. She also tend to disappear to the retail part of the store to get ingredients. The short lady who is normal there in the afternoon and evening except Monday is quick and friendly.

I don't the cool like me lol

The owner always has something negative to say. The employees are great ladies. Despite the owner and her obnoxious actions, the food is great which again relays on the staff && the place is clean.

    Home made food...yum

Home made tortillas. This is my little hole in the wall place for great Mexican food, wife loves it too. Try the tacos de lengua you won't be disappointed.

Grocery store next door with authentic Mexican food and spices. Six booths and five tables.

Kind of stumbled across the place. Small and certainly not fancy inside. The tacos were awesome and full of flavor. Three tacos and a beer for $8.00. Can't beat that. These were true street tacos as well. I've read the other reviews. There was no smell. The employees were very friendly.

Not that grt. The soda machine is still broken. The meats were dry. Didn't taste anything besides the sauce it came with (I got enchilada).

The portions are perfect, the chicken is cooked to perfection. Always juicy, never burnt or overcooked. Chips are always warm and crispy, the guacamole is fabulous, and the sautéed onions are tasteful, a little crunchy, yet soft at the same time. Never soggy. Favorite Mexican restaurant from Jamestown to Crossville. 10/10 recommend. Oh, and the price is both reasonable and worth it.

We ordered the carne asada (no beans, extra rice), which was about $30. The portion was decent, but overall the flavor was just okay. I wouldn't necessarily call it authentic, but it works if you're looking for a quick and easy meal. They did ask how we wanted the meat cooked we requested medium but since the steak was cut thin, it ended up being cooked well done. The kids' meals were simple and come with a drink, which is convenient. However, the orange juice tasted off and was really sour like it was expired, so we asked to switch it to apple juice. Garcia's is a decent option for a casual meal in a spacious setting, but for the price especially the $30 carne asada.

We got the bone marrow, asada vampiros, asada tacos and 2 queso fundidos one with chorizo and one with adobada. Presentation 8/10 - flavor 2/10. The best way I can describe it is that they are just trying too hard. Instead of serving the queso with chips they bring mini corn baked tostadas with no seasoning or flavor. It's just bleh. Chips would have been just fine. One plate came with a small side of whole beans, also no flavor. The only plus is they are very generous with the meat portions. The queso fundido had the consistency of chewy rubber and was serviced in a way where the cheese did not stay hot. Versus other places service with a hot cast iron skillet to keep cheese soft and warm. Service was B+. friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu or add-ons. I would say probably just inexperienced. No beer or spirits available because they don't have their license yet. They the final blow was when the check came, they added an automatic 18% gratuity without saying anything to us. Overall not worth the hype and definitely not with price. Sorry. Buyers remorse :( Wish I could get my money back.

I was asked if I wanted my grilled onion and grilled jalapeño I said yes. When I got the small bag with the small plate, I instantly knew I made a mistake. Each taco was greedily filled. I had two radish shavings cut in half. There were two dry pieces of carrot and that onion and jalapeño that I mentioned.. yeah, I got half of a jalapeño sautéed with maybe about eight pieces of onion all over the tacos.. I don't know who called this place authentic but I am highly disappointed.. The only thing that presented any equality was the paper bag and the sturdy paper plate that the tacos came on. Lastly, I wanna end my review with another note : the slices of lime that I received were so thin that was actually the most diabolical part of the order. Not many reviews for a truck that has been around for a decade, but for the most part, reviews were strong. That said, a couple reviews called the food bland or mediocre, but I still decided to give them a try. Menu was simple, I was having a touch time deciding as I was in the mood for taco's but the nachos looked good. I ended up going with the burrito, because I wanted to taste the rice and beans as well. When served the burrito was noticeably larger than any other truck. I'd say 15% larger. 1st bite wasn't bad. It was tasty, but it was a bit shy on flavor, I like salt and I like spice and those are two things Mexico is known for. I was also handed 2 hot sauces. The red was watered down and disappointing, the green actually had more flavor. That said it was still not the flavor punch I hoped for. Service here was fast and friendly and the food wasn't bad, it just would have benefited from some seasoning and heat. I would 100% come back, but again, these folks need to infuse some flavor into their offerings, word of mouth from a savory meal is how you draw a crowd.
