Pitabilities was stationed at the Blacklick Woods Metro Golf Course and I was able to give it a try half way through the round. For a food truck, they offer several customizable options, starting with either a pita, salad or fries as the base. You then pick a protein and toppings. They also have some standard entrees with toppings already selected, if that's more your jam. I got the Greek gyro, "the Pita way" which included grilled onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, banana peppers, mozzarella and feta cheeses, and Bella sauce, which is their version of tzatziki. I also got a side of fries. The gyro was absolutely amazing -- one of the best I've had in Columbus. The fries were also prepared fresh, so they were hot and crispy. I would definitely get it again and I'm glad Pitabilities was at the golf course because it was way better than the typical hot dog I would've otherwise gotten. read more

Pitabilities is part of the Center Street Market in Hilliard and it's so good. They have a nice selection of bowls, pitas, and sides that are affordable and delicious! I got a chicken pita with rice, chickpeas, and red cabbage. It was very flavorful and probably the best pita I have ever had. The rice and chickpeas gave it a unique flavor that can't be beat! I also got the sweet potato fries which are amazing. They are dusted with sugar and so very tasty! My husband and I also split an order of falafel which comes with hummus. He had a veggie pita and feta fries which he said were also the best he's had as well. Definitely recommend Pitabilities. Plenty of vegetarian options, good prices, and large portions. Can I rave about their fries for a second? Their fries are 10000% the star of the dish here, with every single fry being perfectly done and the portion sizes are really generous! Their new Delhi chicken was well flavored but I might have liked my brother's chicken shawarma a smidge more. Both are great options though! The Bella sauce that they drench on everything is a tzatziki sauce variant that was splendid. So all in all, this is a food truck that I would track whenever I crave Mediterranean. I've heard such great reviews of this place from friends, so I had to try it out! The food truck did state that they were having internet issues, which led to my food being 30 minutes late. Not the most ideal situation, especially having to stand in the cold, but the food definitely hit the spot. I built my own Pita and added chicken, grilled mushrooms, hummus, lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. I also added a side of shoestring fries. The appearance of the pita was great! It was wrapped nicely and had the perfect amount of fries. Even without adding any sauce, it wasn't dry and tasted yummy! All the ingredients mixed really well. This food truck definitely deserves the 5 stars it's getting due to several factors. Customer service was awesome! Even though I had an idea of what I wanted to get, I still got recommendations on the best things to try on their menu. I tracked them down after my 5 mile run, I saw them when I was running with Bella. I was going to do the whole, let's run as fast as possible to figure out what direction they are going in my neighborhood but decided after my run, I'll track them down. The Pitabilities food truck came to work for lunch last Tuesday. When looking up their menu one of my co-workers discovered you could place your order online. Seeing that we work in healthcare and really do not get much of a lunch break. Many of us just placed on our orders online. We did this assuming that would save everyone time and we would get our order more timely. Once you place your order online then you can see the progress of the order and during a point you will be given an estimated time for your order to be ready for pick up. As many co-workers that placed an order online, I would say the same amount just ran outside to the food truck to order directly. Those that went outside, kept coming back with their orders before my order was even accepted. I was told that there was only one person in the truck. As the time past another co-worker then reported that finally another employee arrived at the truck, well after noon (the beginning of lunch). I soon regretted placing my order online as my few minutes of lunch came and went. Finally after 25+ min my order was accepted and quoted to be done in 10 min. I ran down to the truck in between patients when the quoted time arrived and they still had not started my order. I did ask a couple of menu questions while I waited and they did not seem at all familiar with the menu. As time passed and I worried more and more with how clinic was going without me being there, my order was finally ready and I ran back into work. When I finally go to open my order I quickly realized that they did not put any Bella sauce (their suggested house sauce) on my pita that I had ordered. Though my chicken was moist, my pita overall was lacking the flavor punch I was craving. I feel that was due to the lack of sauce. Overall my experience could have been better. I recently had Pitabilities at a food truck event with only this truck. The food is good. I like the selections available, but the service was very slow. Two people in the truck. One took orders and put them together and the other did the cooking. I had the vegetable Pita. It's about $8. The pita is kind of small for that. It's good though. The pita had lots of vegetables piled into it, such as fresh onions and tomatoes. It also has some good sides. The fries were good and not too salty like the ones that are frozen and dumped in icky fryer grease like at fairs. These tasted like they were fresh cut with the right touch of seasoning. It might be hard getting food here though. There's always long lines at the festivals. I like food trucks and Pitabilities is good enough to get again. It's mostly at festivals but sometimes you can find it around Columbus. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma in a Pita, and got Feta Fries as a side. The Feta Fries definitely stole the show... and the salt shaker. They were packed with flavor, but the intensity of the feta paired with super salty fries was overwhelming. I feel dehydrated just thinking about them. On to the main course, I didn't love the chicken shawarma - a little too much turmeric for my taste - but it was tender and juicy. The overall pita was good, but difficult to eat with how much they have loaded on (good portions!). PLOT TWIST - Pitabilities has an option to skip the pita altogether and get your toppings on a bed of fries. I couldn't decide if I wanted fries or a pita. I opted for the pita, but would try a few bites of the toppings with the fries I ordered. That's the money bite. My co-workers and I ordered feta fries, Philly pita, gyro, chicken club and Buffalo chicken. They were all so amazing. Their version of the tzatziki sauce is good. They call it Bella sauce. It's thicker than the traditional tzatziki. There are an array of toppings. I highly suggest the feta fries. They don't skimp on anything. Love this place soo much. I tried the truck for the 1st time a few months ago. The staff is super friendly and the menu is easy to navigate. I ate my food so quick I wasnt able to get a pic. The pitas here are phenomenal. I've been getting the buffalo chicken. Its sooo good I'm hesitant to try any of the others worth fear of disappointment. Haha maybe I will ask for a diff sauce on the side or something bc teriyaki chicken and bbq chicken sound and look amazing as well. They have a lot of toppings and you can get whatever you want. I'm not quite sure what bella sauce is but I highly recommend getting it. It goes very well with the pitas and fries. They even have falafel. I love food trucks. And Gyros. So I was pumped when I saw the Pitabilities truck setting up as I made my way into the Worthington Hills market. By the time I was done shopping, they were up and running and had a nice little line starting to form. The staff were pretty friendly and didn't dilly-dally taking orders. I ordered the grilled chicken gyro with grilled onions and the "bella sauce", feta cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, banana peppers, olives and an order of their regular fries. Frankly, I was rather disappointed. The gyro was rather small and unlike most authentic gyros I've ever had, under-stuffed. This actually boded well for me as I didn't care to finish it. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor; they forgot my grilled onions; and were super stingy with the feta! Besides that- I couldn't taste the Bella sauce AT ALL, which would've probably helped to alleviate the dryness of the chicken. The gyro was also quite expensive given the quantity and the quality- $8, and that didn't include fries or any other side. The only redeeming feature, at this time, was the shoestring fries. They were flavorful and cooked nicely. I'm not against giving them another shot; maybe next time just sticking to a regular gyro with lamb and not chicken, and reminding them to be more generous with their sauce. And cheese! read more

I tried this place years ago and I have never stopped talking about it. Last night I found them at a food truck festival in Grove City and the pita was just as good as I remember. I highly recommend getting a teriyaki chicken pita with everything on it, the chicken is so juicy and the sauce with all of the toppings just brings all the flavors together to make it so delicious. Got my order just as the rain started to pick up and headed to the Hills Market outdoor cafe for a seat at the bar and a iced Yuengling.
