The lines may have been long but putting an ungodly amount of white sauce on your platter (or chicken and rice, I'm not here to debate) pre-covid days was always a great time with friends. To see the business expand to multiple locations was a very proud moment and I had to try one out. I went for the Chicken Platter and the Gyro Platter to compare which one was better. Just like how I remembered it, the portion sizes are very good and the proteins were very hearty. The jalapenos were a welcome addition but not a must. The pita bread was also very solid and not soggy for me. Dare I say it, the platters really didn't need the extra white sauce but they do provide a very fair amount as is. If I had to pick a winner, the Chicken Platter was my favorite. The Halal Guys will always be a favorite for me based on the quality of food and good memories. In my opinion, Halal Guys doesn't feel the same unless you are at that original stand on a late weekend night but the food nevertheless is still great.
