School ends at 2 pm which is when we started the party. No pizza. 2:10 pm we call and staff says, "It's the holidays" and states delivery is on its way. Delivery finally arrives at 2:30 pm. The driver says, "I'm just the driver" when confronted with the late delivery. Also, there were 2 paper plates included with the order. I called to express my displeasure with the late arrival of the order since we had to clean up and finish the meeting around 2:45 - 2:50 pm. I was told by one person they would make it up to me 'on a future order'. I was then passed to a 'manager' who when I expressed my displeasure of having late food delivery and no paper plates that a manager would speak to me the next day. I said I expected a phone call from the manager to discuss the issue. I was told, "That's not how it works" The students were ok with the pizza but the wings had to be the smallest wings any of us have ever seen. They were half the size of what we expected. Students were ok with them, but not overly impressed. Final verdict: Food was 'aigh't' in the words of the students. Delivery time was not acceptable. Concern from the staff was non-evident. Next time we have a party will take our business elsewhere.

It's beautifully pillowy with a crisp undercarriage. It's perfectly oily without being greasy. It's (IMO) too saucy which tends to make it a little sloppy but it's a balanced sauce of sweet and tart with just the right amount of cheese. Their regular pie is a benchmark pie for Long Island pizza. It's just right. No notes. The chicken parm and meatball parm heroes are also benchmark sandwiches. I judge all heroes against theirs. Personally, I prefer the chicken parm, but it's a 1A/1B situation. There's no wrong choice. My only complaint would be that I wish they were a little bit larger.

I told the owner that and he said it's $16 and change for the Chicken Parm and $15 and change for the pasta. If you don't know, after alcohol, an Italian restaurant's biggest profit margin is pasta. For this restaurant, it might be number one. Pasta is incredibly cheap to make so the markup here is beyond insane. The price for pasta is so high that they almost definitely miss the ideal price point. In other words, this price will drive down orders and keep customers away. At a lower price point, it will drive more groups of people spending more money. Aside from that, the food is excellent and I still recommend this place. It really is great food. Just don't order pasta.

I told her about the coupon offers and how I'd stopped buying because the quality was not up to par and that I certainly was not paying an extra $4.50 under their new special. Instead of admitting their shortcomings, she started ranting about what a great offer the pizza was. I quickly ended the call by telling her that I was not buying their pizzas anymore. Another small note: the dining area looked like it could've used a quick sweep. Not a huge deal, but something that affects the overall impression when you walk in. I wouldn't completely write this place off, because the flavors are there and the staff is friendly. If I give it another try, I'd probably stick with a regular pie or maybe a Sicilian and specifically ask for it to be cooked well done. I think that could make a big difference.
