Let me tell you something. I rarely do online reviews. And when I do, it's either because the…read moreservice sucked or it was AWESOME! This review of Burke's is because they were AWESOME! They just left my property. When we decided to clear a lot line of trees, I called 4 area tree service companies. Burke's was the only one that responded. Now, it's the busy season for these companies - I get it. But call me back at least? Burke's did. They explained that their schedule is tight but they'd get me in. They did. They used satellite technology to understand what I wanted and to provide an estimate. The estimate was well within my budget. They let me know 4 days in advance when they would be at my place. They showed up exactly when they said. They asked questions to confirm what I wanted. They asked where they could run machinery and we're careful to avoid our garden, fire pit and other items on the property. And then, they went to work. 90 minutes later, at least a dozen trees down, having blown the leaves and stuff off my lawn, they're gone. They even left me the truck load of wood chips they just created from chipping all my trees. That saves me HUNDREDS in bags of mulch. I won't use another tree service. Period.

We did not have a very good exchange with him - he was very curt & argumentative when we asked questions. He stated several times that "He was the professional", not us. However while he was here, we did ask him to look at some additional trees on our property (evergreen-types) and some driveway work. He promised to get back to us with the estimates. He sent the estimate but did not include all the work we discussed. We tried contacting him several times but did not receive the information. Additionally, the estimate he provided for the evergreens was 78% higher than another tree service company (that we did end up hiring & they did a fantastic job). Our neighbor ended up contracting with Top-Notch to do their tree work. While Frank & his team were doing that work, they crossed onto our property & was cutting limbs off of our tree. We told him that the agreement with our neighbor was to cut just the limbs that overhung onto their property only (not the tree limbs that are on our property. Frank told us, he did not care & that he was not doing a half-axx job. He & his team kept challenging us & when we spoke to our neighbor, they could not get Frank to do what we agreed to. He said he was going to do the job he was paid for even though the tree did not belong to our neighbor! All in all, it was a very bad experience. Totally, unprofessional.
