It was amazing to watch how they worked so well together to safely and quickly remove the tree. They brought in the crane and we didn't have to move anything out of the way. They chipped and hauled it away all in the time frame it said it would take. My favorite part was their Supervisor- an amazing golden retriever! Everything is better with dogs :).

Can't get a better reference than seeing him do the work before my very eyes! We had him prune a large Maple and a cherry tree. We did the best we could over the years with pruning them ourselves, but one of them is too big for us to handle now and we realize now we were doing an awful job on both. ‍ We really didn't know what we were doing. After seeing all of the work Eric did, we realize how important it is to have a professional prune them now. Eric did a fantastic job and the results were completely unexpected. We have other maples that are too young to prune now, but we will have him prune all the trees from now on.

I apparently had a much different experience than many. If I could give a negative # of stars I…read moreabsolutely would. I hired this company per a recommendation and expected so much more. I paid $13,000 - for 8 trees and Derek had to be the most unfriendly, disrespectful and rude businessman I have ever met! The purpose of the tree removal was 2-fold. It was for safety around the home and also to provide LOTS of firewood! He knew this. He never introduced himself - I had to ask who was Derek when I went out to greet all the guys that showed up. Even once he raised his hand he still did not come over to me. I had to go to him and extend my hand to introduce myself. We had not met as this is my daughter & son-in-law's home. I came up from Virginia for this as I was the payor of the services, which he also knew. Derek started cutting the trees as we (my son in law & I were home) expected, including limbs of good size. Then things changed and we saw a number of pieces going into the chipper (easy for them as all they had to do with that was shoot them into the woods). I went out a total of 4 times to ask him to NOT chip those bigger limbs as they were such great pieces of firewood and even asked if they could just cut to pile or leave in on the ground by the tree. His answer repeatedly?: "IF IT FITS IN THE CHIPPER IT GOES IN THE CHIPPER!" Let me reiterate I was paying him $13,000!! I cannot begin to tell you how infuriating he was and what a great disappointment due the amount of firewood we lost due to his lack of giving a damn what the customer wanted. We also have many trees on the property that needed trimming and a safety check. York RTS did a walk-through of the property and provided a safety assessment for all the trees on our property. They also removed a few smaller trees that were impeding the growth of other things planted nearby. Seeing the volume of help we needed, York RTS was able to prioritize work that should be done sooner vs later, so we now have a long-term plan for the care of trees and hedges on the property, within our budget. More importantly, York RTS was very creative in problem solving. Seeing the scale of our garden & understanding the amount of work needed to keep it going, they proposed the removal of a row of unwieldy hedges out front and expanded our lawn in its place. It's one less thing that needs trimming & managing and our front lawn is large & beautiful now. We really appreciate their effort to improve our curb appeal and reduce our weekend chores!

Not only were they timely, but they exceeded our expectations for the finished job. Their suggestions and tweaks resulted in a more complete job than we had envisioned. They worked quickly with their state of the art equipment and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. We will be hiring them again. And did I mention that their price was very budget friendly?
