I visited shortly after I arrived to Lake Lawn Resort, because my room wasn't ready and I had to wait to check in. So I strolled over to The Lookout Bar & Eatery for a lil' drink and a Caesar salad to kill some time. I got a hefeweizen to start, and then a Blue Moon with an orange slice in it. Both of these were on tap at the bar. The bar was kind of empty when I visited, so I had my server's full attention, and she made sure that everything was all good. I got a Caesar salad to eat, which was fine. It wasn't the best Caesar, and I don't think I would order it again, but it made me less hungry, and it was a salad, so it did its job. Its mediocrity didn't stop me from eating it all. A couple of days later, I visited The Lookout Bar for a big glass of red wine to take back to my room. The server poured me a hearty glass and said, "This should get you drunk!" I appreciated his enthusiasm and confidence in his pour. Overall, I think I would visit The Lookout for drinks but not food. Or if you do get food, then set your expectations low.

Coming in here it wasn't crowded. It's located in what looks like an office park. There's a big parking lot and a few offices that look unoccupied. On the corner is this place. The inside is bigger than it looks and there's enough room for groups and parties. It's about $4 for the cheapest cocktails. We each got a margarita. A small one but these are strong enough. The food choices are lamer. It's about $5 to get an appetizer. We got the Chips And Salsa. Great stuff and it was spicy as fuckballs. The rest of the food is meaty. Great place for hanging out and getting cheap cocktails and food. It's located on Valley Lake. There's not much great for vegetarians.

We went looking for lunch and stumbled into the cove. There were only three other people in there because it was a Monday afternoon. The owner, Brent, introduced himself and we all orders drinks. We highly recommend the "sex on a pirate ship" drink which Brent describes as a pineapple upside down cake in a glass. So good! And the prices are amazing. We ordered lunch. Burgers and Italian beef- all cooked up by Brent himself that were terrific. We could have stayed the entire rest of the day but had to shove on. Horrible place. The waitresses were so nasty and mean. Straight hill billys. I work hard for my Money and can find a better place to spend it. Not to mention i go out and want a good night away from kids but there, they had kids serving me. I will be talking to the bureau of better business about under age children working. Kids should be doing kid things this isnt the 80's anymore where you can have your kids work. Time to update. Never to step foot in that place again. read more

A real dump!! The staff acted like the walking dead, and the food was absolutely awful and meant for the dead. I cannot believe that anyone but the staff would give them these high marks, i.e., multiple stars. What, are they all nuts! This has to be the worst restaurant in Wisconsin. When she served the wine, they were in plastic cups and said sorry we ran out of glassware; for a place I'm paying $18/glass, you surely should've asked first before pouring into a plastic cup.
