It was way too much for two of us to get through and when we asked for a container the manager told us that was a great idea because it would "get even better the next day." He was right, but it was pretty darn good on the night too. (Also their take-away containers have split sections for different curries so they don't all get mixed in together or have to waste 4 containers to keep them separate, which is a cool touch). The place itself is...ah, who cares about the place - there's four walls and a roof that serve well to trap in the amazing aromas that greet you when you walk in the door. There's also lots of awards hanging up in a cute shrine to itself. Noted there was no recent awards but they do get my unofficial 2015 one for 'Best Indian around Kew'. On our vacation from the States. by happenstance we tried their legendary biryani which I reiterate is "to-die-for" along with Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, Panner and Daal. The spices are done just right - alluring, yet not overwhelming. The food fits well with the varied yet distinct ethnic Indian and Australian palate.
