I've never eaten anything like it before. Meanwhile, my husband got a lemon slush because we were hot and sweaty from hiking between towns. It hit the spot perfectly and was so refreshing without being too sweet. Even though I loved my gelato, I also couldn't resist stealing more than a few sips. The location is perfect too, just near the center of town and also near a ledge by the water where you can sit while you people-watch and enjoy your sweet treat. Terza Terra is the perfect restaurant for that. We took the stairs down from the alleyway to the patio. Terza Terra also has a bar that is totally separate and does not have the views. We ordered bruschetta with prosciutto and melted cheese and a panini and shared them. Also had a couple glasses of wine. Very relaxing lunch on the patio, it was a beautiful day and took several photos during lunch. Terza Terre is a great place to have a relaxing lunch with awesome views.

The small little shop have very limited settings but the convenience of the way they are packaged, is easy to take away and eat. There are few choices of fried goodies and we got the combination of fries, calamari, octopus, and fish. The seasoning was flavorful and it is plenty to share if ordered the large for a little $ more. The focaccia pizza was delicious and it was also a nice decent amount. Best to share so you can try a variety of stuff. I think it can also be too much fried stuff if one person was to eat it.

We initially were going to eat at the restaurant located directed up the hill overlooking the water, but to be honest, it was jammed packed and the sun was unusually hot that day, and there were few shaded tables. So we walked around CT and then entered this place. We opted to rest and have some cold drinks and gelato and bruschetta. We did not eat a full lunch. The service was efficient. We enjoyed the view and the shaded patio and of course the view. Reasonably priced considering it's Cinque Terre. Many tour leaders seemed to also stop here for a break while their tour is exploring on their own. Also has a restroom which is key. It was just a nice, simple cafe for a break.

We got the house red wine, the three of a kind bruscetta, cheese and cold cuts plate, and the anchovies plate, and everything was so tasty! We were especially surprised about the anchovies, as neither of us likes them, but we liked these so much we got more. Most notably, the owner (and bar tender, and chef) was incredibly fun to talk to! He recommended really good things and kept us company. The breakfast menu also looks great, so we'll definitely be back.
