My sister and family showed up only to be cussed at by the owner when my sister asked what happened to the lanes they reserved. Her mother who had gotten there early was treated poorly and cussed out by the owner just for asking where the party was. And for the record...my sister and her mom are not rude people or behaved in any way at all to be treated like that. Fortunately, with these last second changes Peat's Cider social in Stevensville welcomed us and accommodated the party at the last minute. Definitely wouldn't recommend Coloma Lanes.

It's a few large rooms and the activities are well spaced, themed, and super durable. But it's not a place to spend a full day... Kids could easily spend a couple of hours here, maybe an afternoon if they really got into it.

We chose to climb the small staircase above the public restrooms and walk the beach to the pier. The sand will be in my shoes forever :) The walk out to the first lighthouse was easy and no concerns, from the first to the second we saw slippery spots and a much narrowed walk way - if you are comfortable, totally worth walking all the way to the end to look back to the beach. We walked back down the entire pier and past a beautiful sculpture to return to the parking lot. The entire walk and view took us about 40 minutes, but definitely a leisurely pace! Bring a camera, maybe a selfie stick and if it is cold you will want a jacket that can break the wind when you are walking out on the water.
