This is one of the best places to have a party, especially if you have little children because that way everybody has something to do. The kids got to bowl while the adults got to visit. You can bring your own food, drinks bought there. When you rent one whole side with the shoes and the lanes include included, you cannot beat this experience. It wasn't loud or uncomfortable. Very good atmosphere. It was perfect! I highly recommend this place for parties and events especially if you have 50 to 70 people! Two hours doesn't sound like a lot but it was more than enough! Don't over look this place for parties or just having a good time

I had the Matchmaker- a sweet cherry cider and my husband had the White Castle in the Sky, his had a very unique flavor and the bartender recommended he sample it first. The ciders were very good. Bowling is by the hour and includes shoes and bowling up to 6 people. We did not have an hour to spend here, and they graciously offered us a 30 min rate. This was a pleasant surprise, we stopped in for ciders, but ended up enjoying bowling!

Dee was our server & he was great. The ayce fish was amazing much better than the previous owners. Lightly breaded and thick pieces. Fries were very hot & fresh. You got a side (fries) and soup or salad. My husband said it was the best fish he's had in a very very long time. I had the wet burrito which is one of the items I ordered when we went there frequently. It was better than before! The meat wasn't mushy and it was very flavorful not bland. I loved it and my husband tried it and said he's not crazy about burritos but thought this was very very good. We normally do not give 5's but Lakeside deserved it. The new booth tops were pretty & clean. We were happily surprised at the whole experience and will go again and more often.

If you're looking for a small bowling center that has a lot of character, then the White Pigeon…read moreBowl is the place for you. Located on historic US-12, this place is like stepping back in time, when most small town bowling alleys in the 1950s only had a handful of lanes. You really develop a sense of what retro bowling is all about when you enter this building. Over the past few years, the owners of the White Pigeon Bowl have been gradually modernizing their facility. While the above lane ball returns were manufactured by Brunswick in the early-to-mid 1950s, the rest of the equipment has been completely brought up to 21st Century standards. They have AMF synthetic lanes, and 82-70 automatic pinspotters that were recently upgraded to 82-90 standards. So if you're looking for a great place to bowl with that nostalgic feeling, but don't like the crowded big house atmosphere that other nearby bowling centers give you, then this is the place for you. Likewise, this is a cool place to take your kids to have a party, or just spend some quality time enjoying some open bowling together. So if you live in Southwest Lower Michigan or Northern Indiana, why not drive to White Pigeon and enjoy this trip down memory lane.
