Not hers. No cost coming out of her pocket! Get her little row of drinking nuts to also jump in. We were just trying to have fun. But instead you have to be some a Karen. Didn't believe the google reviews, but now that I witnessed her distasteful behavior... definitely going to trust them more now. Stopped in for lunch with a friend after realizing some of the more "well known" Sister Lakes restaurants were closed during the week. We sat outside and had the deck to ourselves -- but the bartender still made sure to keep an eye on us. Chips were delicious, burger was SO GOOD, and my friend said her chicken sandwich was good. Food isn't as big as I last remember, a few people at the table are still hungry. The service was good although the food took a little while to come out. In the winter time, there isn't much around here that is open, but this place was hopping! We stopped by as a party of 4, and we couldn't even get a table, but we sat at the bar, which was fine. Drinks were very well priced, and we ended up ordering a large pizza (it was HUGE!), burgers, and a chicken philly sandwich. My bacon burger was huge, but the patty itself was nothing to gush about. However, it was a really thick burger and I couldn't even finish it all. I traded out my fries for tater tots and they were amazing. :) Pizza was good, decent amount of pepperoni, and thin crust was nice and crunchy. There also was a fireplace going, which was nice. The bartender was very attentive to us and service was pretty good! All in all a good place to go if you are n the area, tends to attract an older population, we were the youngest people there. It also is right next to the snowmobile trails, so it can be a good place to stop and grab something to eat! read more

Seriously so disgusted after our last visit here. To begin with, there aren't too many places to eat in the immediate area, so you are kind of stuck coming here. We placed an order for a pizza upon entering..there was only one other table seated besides us. Well, needless to say.. after an almost hour wait and everyone who came in after us got served their food (including pizza's to go), we still did not get our food. The waitress really had no explanation for what happened to our order except that sometimes it takes about 45 minutes for pizza's.. Really?? We paid our bill for the appetizers and drinks we had and told them to keep their pizza. They didn't even apologize or try to make the situation better. I surely will not return on purpose. read more

Always a great place for some coors light and shooting the shit. The fact someone called it "disgusting" in their review is an extreme disservice. It is a dive bar, but on the quality spectrum of dive bars I'd say it is pretty high up there. Outside area is awesome on a warm evening. read more

Please stop here if you are in the Sisters Lakes Michigan area. They have a full bar menu and the food is good. It is better than just bar food but I stick with the burgers and always leave satisfied. Draft beer and seasonal beer specials can be found here. Located on M-152 it can conveniently be found. This was our second year in Dowagiac and third visit to BT's (only because my boyfriend likes their wings). Horrible service. Waitress brought our waters and took forever to come back and take our orders. She had no idea what they had for drinks in their bar. We ordered appetizers and they took forever to come out and when they finally did, they came out with our meals. Three other people and I ordered burgers and she brought mine out on a hoagie bun of some sort because the kitchen ran out of regular buns. She didn't even bother to apologize, she just said not to worry because everyone likes that bread. I will not ever be returning. read more

This is a great bar with good food. The burgers and the smothered burrito are always delicious. They have good fries and apps as well. Great prices in beer and the staff gets to know you quickly. I like the roll of paper towels on the tables as well. read more

We stopped in while out snowmobiling on Thursday. The place was pretty empty when we arrived. The waitress/bartender was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. I had a patty melt with fries and a beer. My wife had a 1/4 pound cheeseburger, fries and a beer. The food was hot, quick, and very good. Beer was cold too! BT's is the best place to go around the Sister Lakes/Dowagiac, MI area especially during the summer on the weekends if you are of college age. But a close location and a fun atmosphere are a trade-off for the price of the drinks. A ten ounce mixed drink that is relatively week is overpriced at four dollars and then a tip included makes it even more. The beer is a bit cheaper. Shots are half-sized but are still sold at the price of a shooter. If there is someone willing to DD, traveling to South Bend will be a good alternative. There are several night places to choose from with the same fun atmosphere and younger crowd as BT's on the weekends. Plus these places actually serve drinks that are definitely much bigger and on average run between three and four dollars. If your plan is to go wild, BT's is not the best pick unless you plan on spending a good amount of money. read more
