I've been going to T's for 15 years. has the same vibe as the Detroit neighborhood bars that I used to go to. Nice local folk, great burgers, and beer a'plenty. But, I don't know if I'm going anymore. I went in to have a burger and sat down to look at a 3 foot vinyl decal of Trump giving me the finger at the focal point of the bar. I don't care what the political views of a business owner are. And, he shouldn't care about mine. When you display divisive political deco, it tells me I'm not welcome if I don't agree. So, my wife and I left and went to Eddies. I'll return when that crap comes down. read more

I went here for some good food as it was recommended by a friend but was treated terribly by one of the employees. I believe her name was Vanna. It was October 8th at 6:28pm. She was super rude when I was asking questions about changing an item on the menu. She kept rolling her eyes at me and told me to either pick something or "get the fuck out". I was so shocked, I'm pregnant and having specific cravings and I couldn't believe what she said. I'm just in town visiting and couldn't even eat. We ended up leaving because of the service. tl;dr: There's plenty of good food in and around Coloma, MI without wasting time or money on T's Tap. For great, thin-crust pizza, the Pour House - for inexpensive, wonderful burgers, Riverside Tavern. As a recent immigrant to Coloma (moved from the throbbing metropolis of St. Joe after buying a house here), I've been casually exploring local eateries. Coloma's "Eats in the Streets" festival started last evening, and the rains drove me inside. I'd planned on giving T's food a try for the festival (pick up inside + eat outside). Since the rain drowned the idea of eating in the street, I changed the plan to eat-in-the-restaurant...bad choice. Entered T's Tap, sat at a table and waited. When the waitress finally paid attention to my arrival, she announced it was her first night. The waitress suggested that I come over to the bar, if she was failing to keep up. Ordered a burger and fries - the festival special, which was supposed to available for take-out by festival celebrants. Ordered a beer and started a tab. My original order had specifically rejected "curly fries" when the waitress attempted the up-sale. The waitress visited at some point after the meal should already have been ready to ask whether it was okay that they were out of "curly fries." Having waited for far too long (several beers worth over the course of an hour and change), I went to the bar to check whether my burger was even begun yet and to pay and leave. The waitress ignored my presence at the end of the bar - that would be the same end at which she had been busily flirting with strangers when I approached the bar. Seeing the waitress fail to attend to me, the bartender eventually checked on me after passing me a few times. My food turned out to be "ready" (packed and waiting for take-out and mislabeled according the markings on the boxes). To clarify, I'd ordered my food to eat inside - you know, not outside in the rain. Food was WAY greasy and barely warm when I finally opened it. No point to arguing. I paid and left for the first and last time. The factors: 1) new waitress with poor skills, relying on her looks in lieu of providing service; 2) small town cliquishness that produces a sense of entitlement for "regulars" and assuming new patrons are out-of-towners and deserve less attention; 3) unexpected patronage due to rain (weak excuse, since the max. capacity is 65 - sixty-five, and the joint wasn't remotely full; 4) my perception - I've had good service at several restaurants in and around Coloma. Perhaps those factors generated a perfect storm for T's Tap. However, I doubt that a real waitress at a real restaurant **business** would have failed so spectacularly. I won't be back to T's Tap and will recommend other places to everyone I encounter. read more

We like to visit when we are in town. But since the new ownership.... this place has gone down the toilet!! New owners are super rude. And will randomly shut down a full bar for no reason at all. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

When I visit relatives in Coloma the one spot I know I can drop into for a familiar face, great pour, and amazing convo is T's ONLY because of Lindsey. It's like my summer ritual to see her and catch up. This past weekend I had my last summer trip to see the fam in Coloma and couldn't wait to break away for some "me time" and go to the local dive to find my girl L. While sitting at the bar top during peak time on a Saturday night I was blown away by what I witnessed. My heart broke for Lindsey. There was some man behind the bar breathing down Lindsey's back allllll night. He then comes over, bad mouths his employee (he hasn't been around long. I have been coming here for 6+ years for L), forces her to close us out, and then had the audacity to try and be so aggressive with her verbally that another male regular had to stand up to the man and state "we don't feel comfortable leaving her here alone with you". It is absolutely disgusting behavior for any type of management to speak to an employee like that AND treat customers with that kind of service. I pray for him. This place won't be around too much longer. read more

T's is a local bar. It is filled with people who know eachother, probably drink way too much, and have way too much fun. I can probably assume that most of them hunt, fish, play Euchre, and will help you out if your car breaks down. There food is too greasy which I love. Their staff is attentive to your needs, there is a pool table, and a dart board right next to the door so you have the possibility of getting your eye poked out if you try and leave. But whoa, is it fun. I consider this place our go to stop when we just want to get out and do something. Andy, the DJ is a hoot and a half. He plays the craziest mixture of music and sometimes messes with us badly. Kareoke is fun on Friday nights. People are friendly. But it is tiny and not upscale in the slightest. But we like it that way. And the prices are actually really good. No cell service. I am convinced you fall into a portal there. :-) read more

Like a bowling alley bar with no bowling alley. Pros: Open till 2, no smoking, Old Style on tap. Locals seemed to be into the Wu-Tang Clan we mixed in with the country on the juke box. Lots of cheap fried food. Cons: You're going to smell like deep fry. Period. The fryer is behind the bar and massive. Also, it seems like there are prices for towines and what appear to be tourists. Is a hick bar. Two $$ for high price of what should be cheap pitchers. ($8/9 vs. $5/6). read more

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere. Strong drinks. Bartender was awesome! Will definitely be a regular.

Great place to have couple of drinks a really good burger....lots of different types of people go through as we were there.....it was karaokee night and they had some fantastic singers....there was a group of us and we stayed till close. Lots and lots of people for a small place....girls were young but nice....when were back in town we are going there again for sure.... read more
