We booked through their website, a tee time before 8am as it was only $34. Upon arriving the lady at the shed - in place of a clubhouse - informed us that their website is wrong and we could either pay an extra $20 or go somewhere else (how kind). It's 4th of July, we figured no shot of getting a tee time somewhere else. So we paid the extra $20 each (plus the cc convenience fee) and went on our way. The condition of the course was almost more embarrassing than the tent clubhouse or porta potty bathrooms. Rough next to a fairway was 5" long looking like it wasn't mowed in weeks. Fairways with giant divot holes everywhere, greens with un-repaired ball marks and old cup locations leaving giant brown dead spots in the green. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Had we of only paid $30 a piece I could maybe understand that we got what we paid for, but no way would I pay $50+. There are plenty of MUCH better courses in the area.

I drive 2 1/2 hours each way to visit him from Chicago. I have spent thousands of dollars on my golfing education over the years, including lessons from a couple of prominent Golf Digest Top 50 instructors. Nobody has helped me understand the golf swing more than Mark has. Furthermore, he is able to quickly and accurately diagnose your fatal swing flaws and help you groove your new move. My swing improves with each visit. Mark also has the ideal teaching temperament: Patient, insightful, and always positive. His rates are also very reasonable for the quality of instruction. If your new to the game, spend a little time at Mark Hamilton Golf. Your learning curve will be much steeper than mine was and you'll save a lot of time and aggravation. Trust me. If you're a lower or mid handicapper like me, you'll take your game to the next level. Worth every penny.

A Butterfly Valve with a handwheel Actuator, a quarter turn ball valve and a Non Rising Stem Gate valve. All donated and installed on copper pipe by Nibco Valve. A superior learning display. Subject: Extremely Poor Dining Experience I am writing to…read moreformally express our disappointment regarding our recent dining experience at your restaurant. From the moment we were seated, the service and food quality were far below acceptable standards. It took 13 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. There was no greeting, introduction, or courtesy when she arrived. Our appetizer (Steak and Tots) arrived 20 minutes later and was lukewarm, at best. When we asked what the soup of the day was, our waitress twice stated, "I think it's only chili," and only checked after we specifically asked her to. Ten minutes later she returned and said the soup was chicken vegetable. We ordered the soup/salad combo and a bowl of chili. Both arrived cold (after another 15 minute wait), and had to be sent back. They came back after 10 minutes. The salad came with the wrong dressing. When asked what creamy dressings were available, neither the waitress nor the hostess knew. We requested a manager twice. No manager ever came to the table. My husband's shrimp Po' Boy did not arrive even 40 minutes after ordering. At that point, we paid the bill and asked to take the sandwich to go. We then spoke with Rachel, who we were told is an owner. Unfortunately, rather than addressing the numerous service and food issues, she focused only on a comment that the waitress did not appear friendly. That was only a small part of a much larger problem. During this discussion, a man approached from the bar area. When my husband asked (three times) if he was an owner, he refused to answer. Only upon leaving did the hostess tell us he was, in fact, one of the owners. This lack of transparency and professionalism added to an already frustrating situation. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Cold food, excessive delays, staff who were uninformed about the menu, no manager response, and an overall lack of accountability are not what we expected -- especially from an establishment located within a country club setting. We paid over $55 for this experience and left extremely disappointed. My husband said the two individuals did not act like they had "ownership". The two individuals who we were told were "owners" were actually the managers. Since my husband has friends in the restaurant business he said he will share our experiences in the investor group that hired the managers.
