I admittedly haven't been here in a looong time, but I used to come here with my best friend when…read morewe were still in high school something-something years ago lol My latest visit here was just a few weeks ago. I came with my bf, who has never been to a driving range before. It was exactly as a I remembered it, though with some new social distancing rules and guards. There's an area for mini golf that looked popular with families, couples, and small groups; and there's also areas for their outdoor driving range. Both areas come with putters and drivers to borrow. As noobs, we didn't really know what we were doing, but the staff were friendly and the place has an overall welcoming feeling regardless of your level (though it was slightly intimidating to see the more pro golfers going at it) If you're looking for a fancy-shmancy club, then this probably isn't the place you're looking for. However, if you're looking for a chill, no frills place to hit a few balls and/or spend some time with friends/family, then this may just be your jam ;)

They have a guy (Paul, I think) that also sells and re-grips clubs which is super convenient. I grab a seasonal membership for $20 (single) $40 (Family) and get free passes for their mini putt and a jumbo ball bucket. The range is normally busy any day of the week and they have both grass and artificial turf. Recently signed up for their semi-private lessons with my dad so will update about those services after.

I was in Sauga that day, and we decided to squeeze a game here before the end of the day and play…read moreon the academy course. It was a decent par 3 course of 9 holes. We missed our tee time but we joined a nice couple and played with them. Great way to practice and get a short game in. It's okay, not too challenging and kind of basic with not too many hazards and wasn't super interesting. I think that's the purpose just to get a quick practice. There are a couple of bigger courses here that my partner has played on and he said it was great. He would give the club 5 stars based on the bigger courses and facilities, but I'll give it 4 since I've only tried the academy course and it was just okay. The facilities are nice. For members, you can use the driving range and push carts for "free" well included in your membership rate. There's a locker room where you can take a shower, use their towels and get a stretch on and chill before your game. They also have a nice bistro with a lovely covered deck and live music on most Saturdays. Definitely wouldn't mind dining here if I'm in the area next time. I believe the bistro is for members only, but it looks like there is a non-member rate too.

Food and service was really good and reasonably priced. Nice little deck over looking the 18th…read moregreen. They've even got a wood fired oven for pizza. Not sure if you're not a member if you'd be able to just go to the restaurant, but I don't see where they'd check. Members have accounts, but just say you're a guest and pay as per normal. The golf itself is okay, but it's mucho dinero if you able to score a guest pass.

I would like to commend a supervisor at the Milton, Ontario location. I arrived at the store only…read more30 minutes before closing looking for information on outfitting myself head-to-toe for hockey. I didn't expect much more than a short browse session, but Christian was eager to provide whatever information I needed and helped me to examine more products than I would have guessed going in. Not for a moment did I feel rushed and all the info he gave me was with great interest in my needs. Not only is Christian obviously very knowledgeable but he is also a prime example of superior customer service. In fact, we even went beyond closing time which I very much appreciated. At the end of it all I ended up purchasing a number of items... all when I expected to merely look around. Well done Christian! I lowered the rating by 1 point for a somewhat limited selection of top line items. But for value, incredible!

Good selection of skates. Not understaffed but the staff seem to want to screw around in the back…read morethan help people. Customer next to me were a couple with 2 kids, they had NO idea what they were doing when it came to outfitting their kids for skates. The staff member who was helping them walked away and started ringing a customer through at the second till. There were only 2 other people in the line. It could have waited and he should have finished helping the customers. I helped them as I have experience and was outfitting my GF's son for hockey equipment. For the fact that they had 3 people on the skate sharpener there should not have been as long a line up as there was. One of the people sharpening skates left it to adjust a helmet. The staff needs to get the whole customer service thing down pact. They have a captive audience/customer base in Milton yet they don't utilize it with epic customer service and deals that would rival Canadian Tire, Walmart and Sport Chek. Customer service will beat the snot out of price points every time. The owners need to realize this before the people of Milton wise up like so many others. Survival has many angles and they need to use what they already have before it's an empty building.

Course is in great shape and features a really challenging layout that forces you to use every shot…read morein the bag. That's how you get 2 stars. But you lose stars for the following reasons. 1. Lots of dog legs and blind shots. If you know the course, no problem. But suggest you offer a little "pro tips" booklet in the clubhouse or in the cart for newbies. Constantly driving down the fairway to see where the hole is is not good for my rhythm and terrible for pace of play. 2. You are charging a premium ($30) for single driver power carts during the COVID19 summer on a day with 40degree humidex when walking is not possible. Sure you have extra costs and your tee times are spaced further apart. I'd be ok with an extra $5 on the green fee. But you are simply gouging. There are also 50 other golf courses that are not doing that. Golfers can choose freely and we will remember not just this summer but for years to come. 2. Again back to the hot day -- no cart girl for 14 holes! 3. No customer service at the start, we're supposed to read your minds. We get to the 1st tee and we are told we are starting on 10. No signs tell us where 10 is and neither does the starter. So we are late teeing off with no time to warm up at all since the next group is already waiting. Needless to say, first drives are all awful. 4. Marshall dogs us all day (after we let a twosome play thru). He's told about the mixup about starting at 10th and still keeps on us after that. Derisively says "did u guys go in for drinks at the turn?" Oh yeah we did because we nearly passed out on the front nine waiting for the cart girl. 5. Going In for drinks at the turn means 10 minutes going to the bar because there's no other place to get drinks that is faster and more convenient. 6. We finish in 4.5 hours at prime time on a Friday. Next group comes in 20 minutes later. Sorry we were so slow....
