We played the Hoot and it is a golfers dream, wide fairways, challenging holes, in perfect condition, no houses in sight, huge driving range. The 18th hole has 2 beautiful waterfalls. It is a public course. The clubhouse looks more like a lodge. Has a pro shop, small restaurant and covered, outdoor deck that is a good 19th hole. Nothing else you could ask for. Tee it up and have fun!

Beautiful family oriented place to visit…read more Great place here for dates, kids birthday party, baseball teams to practice their swings(soft and fastball), golfers. Lots of free parking, large space that is well marked, organised and staffed. All events are outside, so dress accordingly to the weather. Inside the main house is the washrooms and food. They serve big scoops of Kawartha Diary with almost all the flavours made. For mini put, there are two courses to try; Shipwreck or the logging theme. Shipwreck is slightly more challenging. Somehow my kids got the par for the course which is labelled on a sign at each hole. They now think they're big shots and want to go pro, meanwhile my ball enjoyed the water features in the Shipwreck course. The batting cages are self explanatory. Sign at each cage tells you what to expect from ball type to speed level. One token gets 15 pitches, just get the 5 special pricing, it doesn't expire. Bring your own helmet and bat as the ones supplied may not be the greatest. This area is either empty or packed with teams going there to meet up and waiting for a certain pitch. It would be better if they could adjust cages depending on needs of the group. Otherwise the wait can be long.

As noobs, we didn't really know what we were doing, but the staff were friendly and the place has an overall welcoming feeling regardless of your level (though it was slightly intimidating to see the more pro golfers going at it) If you're looking for a fancy-shmancy club, then this probably isn't the place you're looking for. However, if you're looking for a chill, no frills place to hit a few balls and/or spend some time with friends/family, then this may just be your jam ;)

The balls provided are extremely old and worn out, don't come here if you want to work on your distance control.

Now this is also due to COVID restrictions where they can't take care of the grass as much. Putting or a short game is an extra $7. I'd say staff is nice, location is ideal but is a bit expensive in terms of value compared to other driving ranges I've been to.

Got a long lecture and warning from the starter at the beginning and what felt like a side eye making sure that I'd actually have the ability to play the course. I mean, he wasn't wrong.. but still... (I did finish with a 94 and didn't lose my ball until the 16th hole.. so take that). For the price, the course is okay. Greens were decent. The course is tight in several places. Pace was reaaaaaaaalllll slow... if you get behind some mid golfers be prepared to spend 5+ hours. (5 and a half for us). Overall, for it's value, there are a bunch of other courses I'd go to first. But it's worth it once in a blue moon if you want to be tested.

It's located in an industrial area. Easy to find, and lots of parking! Upon arriving i was greeted by an elderly gentleman....I'm assuming he's the owner. He was very kind and helpful and even distracted my kids so I could quickly shop for my hubby. He really is sweet! The customer service is outstanding! The prices are awesome! The selection is not that amazing however I found what I needed. I'll definitely be coming back here with my husband so he can check out their clubs and accessories.
