Everyone is greeted and made to feel at home which is awesome. Many different types of companies that are working here and sharing the premises like a big happy family, which is very cool. I came to visit Phillip at Gateway Media and Films here, to have him work on some video footage for me. Phillip is awesome and if you have any podcast, video or film related work you can certainly give him a call at 305-259-6022. I am sure he would I'll take great care of you and he knows what he is doing with 28+ years of experience as well. From what I can tell they have various office spaces available at this VentureX dedicated and shared which is great and very affordable if you don't need a dedicated secure office for your line of work. They have conference rooms and a very cozy shared lounge area that works great if you are visiting with clients and discussing possible business opportunities or internal business meetings. There is also a coffee station, vending machines and microwave station available in the kitchen if you would like some coffee for yourself and your customers. As a customer, Phillip and I have had some nice conversations over a free cup of coffee or a hot latte which is always great. Internet seems to be great in the facility as well, which is a hard requirement nowadays for day to day work activities. It was our fault I guess for entering the mall from an entrance that wasn't the specific WeWork entrance off of the street. We had a room booked on a Thursday and two booked on Friday. The gentleman who helped us with the check-in process was friendly and actually helped us get into a room before our actual start time. He took us up there to scan us in so that was a nice display of good customer service. Our rooms were clean and overall had great views of downtown/Brickell. Our only complaint was that for the most part of the day on Friday, there was no coffee available (including other floors that my coworker tried) which was a bummer.

I was harassed by the receptionists Edmond Franco and Natalia Espinal. Our group was blamed for the actions of someone else who was not part of our group. Additionally, we were given a warning and were threatened to have our memberships canceled for staying past 11:59 PM, something which has never been an issue at any other wework. We were discriminated against and they stopped me and asked for my name to verify I was a member when I had scanned my card to enter the building. This has never happened to me in the past. I was required to book an empty meeting room that we were in, every other wework I have been to has zero issue with members using unoccupied meeting rooms. No one else was questioned about why they were in a meeting room, we were disgustingly singled out. They came back in 30 minutes after the meeting room booking had expired, they interrupted our work session and made us book again. I booked it and showed it to them and they remark in a snarky tone "how long?". I was not able to get any work done and was deeply bothered by the treatment we received. There are dozens of unoccupied meeting rooms and many other people using meeting rooms. They did not go through every room and make sure the people there had it booked, let alone every 30 minutes. We were singled out, they bothered us and interrupted our important work. We were not bothering anybody, we are sitting in a meeting room discussing company business and they barge in and make us rebook it. Let me clarify again, there are dozens of unoccupied meeting rooms at this location and nobody else was questioned.

Upon making it to the 10th floor the check in desk was to the left and the person provided a quick tour of the space noting the amenities and providing the restroom code. There seemed to be several more permanent offices with ample open space. I had a large room to myself and while someone else did come in, they didn't stay long. Easy access to set up computer usage with plugs and the extra monitor coming in clutch. WiFi was fast and easy to connect to as well. The temp was a tad on the chilly side but you could walk over to the windows by the terrace for a quick warm up. The terrace was under maintenance so I wasn't able to see the full space. The only item that could some attention was the restroom as a few stalls weren't very clean. Overall this was a great option when traveling between locations and wifi access is needed and quite space. They have different spaces including the cubes if you need a private space.

Inside you'll see some nice decor in environments that feel alive and not sterile. There's conference rooms and meeting spaces. Lots of general open areas as well. It's two levels with restrooms on both floors. Both have a mix of office space and artist spaces. I came during an open house and was able to check out number of artist. There are also a those that simply use it for office space. I saw a few companies and video production studios as well. This is perfect for the area as it grows into it's own. The managers are very unprofessional, they would show up very late to work and then get mad at everyone for not having their "work done" but when asked what to do for the day, they never responded and would assign paperwork, after mid-way stat they did not need any of those paperwork's any longer. How are high school students excited to learn and grow in a business if the managers were never there half of the day?! on top of all this inorganization, they fired EVERYONE a week BEFORE the internship was about to finish. They planned on not paying these kids what they worked for and if it wasn't for a couple parents showing up to their building, they would've kept every dime to themselves. They claimed to pay the kids "the days they worked for." not professional and very DISRESPECTFUL! This company needs to be investigated and shut down IMMEDIATELY! they should pay these kids their full internship, since they fired everyone with no reason and word by word said, "we will let you know if we want you guys to come in on Monday or not." I am not usually the type to leave reviews, but the disrespect and no accountability from grown folks left me flabbergasted.
