What a mess! Who knew what lurked below the surface?????? Fortunately, Acosta Plumbing answered my frantic phone call. AP Office manager Nicole responded with concerned understanding of the [emergency] situation. Frank Acosta himself was at my home within an hour to assess the issue with my building's management and engineer. Everyone got 'on the same page' to resolve the problem and a schedule was implemented. Acosta Plumbing took care of everything INCLUDING the Permit process. We each had jobs to do and accomplish. My job between Christmas and the first week post-New Year's was to find replacement tile for the shower base which did not require 10-12 weeks delivery along with possible Tariffs and delays AND would coordinate with the rest of the bathroom design. During the holidays, many business are closed. A challenge, indeed. Plus I did not want to inconvenience my neighbor for longer than absolutely necessary. I say "Properly " because it still worked but it wasn't draining right,act it was just falling into the walls as the pipes had eroded the bottom of EVERY SINGLE DRAIN PIPE IN MY HOME ! So it smelled terrible & I had to do something to help my 80 mother in this situation .So I became a member of the " Cast Iron Pipe Lawsuit on behalf of my mother . When I notified the insurance company of my intention to file a lawsuit they sent 5 star plumbing to do a Repipe of my house I met Jay & the guys & I knew in an instant they were the ones who I needed to do the job. Problem was the Attorney wouldn't let them do it as the case had already been started so I was forced to wait a little longer I kept in touch with the guys & Jay and when they settled the claim I immediately called Jay & 5 Star plumbing back & in a few days they Drove from Miami & Daytona on a Friday morning & they checked into a Hotel at 7 am & they were at my house at 8 am ready to work, AND WORK THEY DID !! They completely cut up my driveway along the side of my house then turned right and cut all the way behind my house right beside the bathrooms & Kitchen! SLICK !! they had a bank inspector out & inspect every single aspect from tear out of the old pipe to the reinstall of the whole house PVC piping to the concrete recovered and inspection was done-THEN THEY WERE PAID I'm very happy with Jay and the whole crew who were at my house & I'm still happy with the plumbing!
