The rest of the time he talked about the art he has made and then just sat around and chatted with students. There was no teaching happening at all. If you do take a class here, please call them first to get a full understanding of what the class entails, along with their refund policy. I have taken classes like this before and there has always been a curriculum of sorts and a structured, guided class to ensure each student would have the best opportunity to learn the skills described in the syllabus. I was very dissatisfied and they would not honor even a partial refund. I only attended one class (out of a 6-class course), as I didn't want to continue to waste my time and their resources. And I had a bad feeling each class would be lots of wasted time with no teaching or guidance. I had signed up for another class after that one, but decided to cancel that one immediately. Extremely disappointed. Will never go back again.

This is such a neat spot in Green Bay. The first room you walk into is just filled with art from…read morelocal artists and they're always switching the art based on a theme or specific exhibit. The last time I was here for Gallery Nite and my favorite art was a painting over newspapers. If you looked closely at the people's skin you can see the printing from the newspaper. The second room is more of an event space. For Gallery Nite, they had vendor tables, some food, and music. I went here for a Cork and Canvas event that was in this room and there had to be around 50 people at that event. It's a great space to take a class or event have your own smaller event. More people from Green Bay need to check this place out!

By the first afternoon, the jitters go away and everyone starts talking and helping out - from offering gentle suggestions to sharing supplies. The tables were a little tight but doable. Most projects were $65, we had a coupon code so that helped get me in the door. This is usually not my thing but I had a good time and will be back. I was in plays here and I went to plays as well as exhibits. Every time I am in town I like to see the current exhibit as well. I stopped by this time to hang with my mom as she took an art class in the back. They told me the current exhibit was open so I could go check that out as well. It was an exhibit of art professors from NMU. I really loved the video piece (no picture of it) as well as the ceramic plates. There are many talented people in the yoop and for a rural area, it is rich in culture. Support the arts!
