Said they would fix our panel "for cheap". $1000 later and they didn't replace half the parts they SAID they would. Had to call them back to get the crew back out and replace the parts. The owner is very professional and responsive, but the crew is not. He came out the same day of the call or inspect and was great. I knew what I was looking for when I went to inspect the job after it was done but if someone didn't they might not have seen it at least until it was inspected by the county. Which could compromise getting approved or not. read more

They do a wonderful job. Rosie especially works so hard and has such a wonderful attitude. Would totally recommend then to everyone!

Just want to keep charging me to come out and fix my generator. $154 to come and repair and week later not working, another visit another $154, so far $1100 and not working, they won't come out if I won't pay but if I pay they won't guarantee its fixed. read more

Wanted to give a big shout out to Pioneer Electric. They were able to work on our Generac generator in a very short time and everything was so professional. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Tracy is the rudest woman you will ever speak to. Hedd the other reviews. It's a shame because I recommend them every chance I get. This occasion, we had murohys air come out to inspect an AC. When Ryan was here, the breaker box sparked, he advised us that an electrician had to give the ok before he could even look at the unit. Called Pioneer, they sent two techs out to do an "inspection" that consisted of them opening the breaker box and declaring "there's no problem" even though they were advised that the breaker kept tripping and sparked. They said it was fine and that Ryan should have just turned off the power. After their visit, I call Ryan back to let him know they cleared it after just opening the breaker box. He was not happy, said he would call them himself as they know each other well. I never get a call back, have no idea what's happening and all of a sudden two guys from pioneer show up and are back on the roof. Not requested or cleared by me. They acknowledge that the first two made a mistake by not checking the unit at all, turns out there was a component that did burn out. Today, I get a call from Tracy that we're being billed for one incompetent service and a second service I didn't ask for. Will absolutely trash this business every chance I get in this small town where we all know each other and will never use them again for our residential or commercial projects. Tracy is a nightmare. Listen to the other reviews. read more

Very rude on the phone! I asked to get some ceiling fans put in in my house and the old lady kept saying, "We don't do third parties. We don't do third parties". I tried to explain that I was the home owner. She then said to take them off of my calling list and hung up on me. What a freak! Anyone else have a recommendation? I just need a residential electrician. read more

Promised us a bid, and we didn't hear from them so we decided to go with someone else. A week later they sent six guys out to our place without any notice for a very easy job that realistically took one, two guys tops. Lots of standing around. Had a lot of difficulty following instructions and in the end didn't get it right anyway. There were a bunch of other problems that I won't get into here but either way we weren't happy and plan to get their work checked over by someone else because it's hard to trust that the connections are safe. Not worth the price we paid and I'm sure they were about to try charging us more if we hadn't complained (no bid!). Would definitely trust all the negative reviews you see here. read more

I've used Pioneer Electric for multiple projects in my home and have always had nothing but fantastic experiences with them. They installed a manual transfer switch on my house, an EV charger in my garage and upgraded the lighting in my kitchen. Most recently I ran into a situation where I needed an outlet moved that was going to delay a project I had started. Pioneer was able to to come out the same day I called and get the job done immediately which was AMAZING because I did not have to delay my project or other contractors at all. All of the electricians and staff I have encountered through Pioneer were incredibly professional and kind. I would definitely recommend Pioneer Electric to anyone in need of an electrician. read more

Needed an electrician to take care of a problem with my hard wired smoke detector. Not only did the guy repair the broken detector but checked all the other detectors in the house. On the way out he fixed the windshield wiper on my car! Great guy, great work. read more

so far so good with Pioneer with a new job and with a previous job. Will came for a quote and actually hung out for an extra half hour waiting for me after he was done, because I was held up in traffic but asked to see him in person. It had snowed a few feet and he had created a little parking area for himself with his truck, which was super helpful. After I arrived, I dumped a new scope of work on him that had not been communicated by his office prior to his arrival, and he stayed another 45 minutes to scope that all out, including tromping around outside in fresh snow. The price quoted was on target with what I expected. We have approved but not yet done the work but I am hopeful it will go smoothly. They are getting the permit. I do recommend being on site to collaborate on any decisions that are important to you such as where to put new heaters etc. Tracy at the office has been professional and responsive to emails even when I was a dodo and failed to respond to all her questions. This is a more remote area in the Sierras and it is definitely hit or miss with many businesses and who you get or how they are feeling on a certain day. It's totally believable that other people may have had different experiences but so far I have had good interactions with them and am looking forward to the substantial amount of work they will be doing. read more

I spoke to OM Tracy at Pioneer Electric who had Steve speak to me in order to schedule a small job at Sky High Ranch. They were both very nice and sent Zack and Chris who solved my electrical problem. They were efficient and just nice young men (old people talk like this!). I had to stop by Pioneer in person to thank them. I knew how busy they have been with the PG&E blackouts and so appreciate them helping me. I will be calling them for the next job on my list. Thanks everyone! read more

I used Pioneer to purchase and install my home back up generator with automatic transfer switch as well as a maintenance plan from them. Could not be happier on all fronts. System has worked perfectly every time and the install easy. Definitely recommend! read more
