Pioneer Bank took over our small Nicollet Co bank. It seems the transition to Pioneer was bumpy since they were swamped self admittingly by other customers. When I explained I wanted to get some business done by opening a new account the bank manager said she just couldn't get to our request since would be going on vacation on Saturday. SAD read more

They have called me when Issues have occures where a simple adjustment or question answered avoided a problem that Bigger banks would simply "churn and Charge fees". This bank does not understand federal regulations. They erroneously returned my deceased father's social security check due to their inability to read, causing financial difficulties that are unnecessary and serve to make this period of mourning more stressful. We had to go to Harrisonburg, to the social security office to fix it, because they would do nothing to help. As soon as all my deceased father's accounts are in order we will be leaving, despite having been customers for over 30 years. read more
