B4: Black Pepper & Garlic Beef ($15.50). V5: Nest of Fortune ($13.00). RN6: Pineapple Fried Rice ($12.50). All the food was quite good. The number of different ingredients,  especially in the Dumplings, Nest of Fortune, and Pineapple Fried Rice, were excellent and unexpected. My one small complaint was that the Beef was a little too salty, but everything else tasted good. They have lunch specials, too. They opened 2023-11-13. They bought it over from a previous Chinese owner who was retiring. The menu is quite different, but they kept the old claypot dish. There is enough indoor table seating and counter seating, but most people order for takeout. A husband and wife team ran Jasmine Garden in Niagara Falls for 26 years. They moved to this St. Catharines location on 2023-11-13. The husband is the chef. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. There are two high chairs for little children. Review 2024-034

Small restaurant but quite a quick turnover. We got seated relatively quickly…read more I personally really love their nutritious lamb soup with sweet potato noodles. You can choose the level of spiciness and numbing to your liking. Unlimited noodle refill is a definite yes! Flavour is great, portion is quite generous, service is as expected. The only thing is we find the price is relatively more expensive than a similar type of noodle joint. Otherwise great experience! We would recommend.

Who doesn't love finding somewhat hidden gem of a place?…read more This location is unassumedly in a strip mall with a music store and pet care business and was such a delight to enjoy. The menu is pretty straight forward but so many options with Taiwanese and Chinese street food type options and fresh noodle and rice dishes. We tried the cuttlefish ball and sweet and sour cucumber salad eppetizers, the original noodle dish with sauce on the side, non vegetarian street noodle choice and the braised pork on rice dish that comes with optional seaweed soup on the side. Everything was tasty, but the seaweed soup was the least favourite for our table. Cuttlefish balls were crispy on the outside, juicy and bouncy on the inside with a sliight sweetness. The Cucumber salad used black vinegar as the base and were not too strong or punchy but provided a nice crisp relief with the other dishes. The egg noodles were just great. Firm and chewy and did I mentioned never ending?? If you need more noodles to gobble up whatever sauce or broth you order just ask! And a bowl will quickly appear at your table, included in your price. The flatter egg noodle was very light and the rounder egg pasta more chewy, both were delicious and held on to the sauces perfectly. The braised tea/soya egg were hard boiled and flavourful and this rice dish was very kid friendly too, a great way to introduce kiddos to the menu. Service was quick and friendly and well worth a detour to visit.

We were so happy to rediscover it through DoorDash delivery! We got 2 delicious ramen dishes. My husband ordered the pork with wide noodles and we both really enjoyed it! The flavor was bright, and spicy and the textures of the potatoes and veggies was so enjoyable. I got the brisket which was also delicious, but the pork was pretty special. We tried a few appetizers - edamame, garlicky spicy cucumbers with sesame and chicken wings which were delicious. We also got the buns and did not care for them - which I had forgotten we must have ordered the same before once I saw them. Does not affect the 5 star score - the ramens and other appetizers were 10/10. Can't wait to try more! I love that you can order different widths of noodles from capillary super thin - extra wide and 6 different options in between! They also have rice noodle dishes. Amazing menu + ramen!

We've been to this restaurant a couple of times and both have been great experiences!…read more The restaurant is fairly spacious and very clean, bright and airy. The service is pretty good although could be a little more attentive. We found it a bit difficult to catch the waiter/waitress's attention when we needed to ask for a container to take home our leftovers on both occasions we visited. The food is absolutely delicious. It's similar fare to other 'noodle houses' we often go to, but instead of the side dishes being 'on the side' here, they're already in the soup when you get it. We have no problem with that as we always use all of the side dishes anyway. The broth here is always really delicious. We've tried the original broth, spicy and pickled. All are very good. We have only tried the rice noodles, not the ramen or hand-pulled. But we would highly recommend all the rice noodle dishes. The soups are really packed with veggies, noodles and lots of 'add ins' so it makes for an inexpensive, delicious meal. We will definitely keep coming back!

The two staff members inside were very welcoming and brought our meals out quickly. The food was hot fresh and delicious! The inside of the restaurant was very clean. Yeah, not so much. I should have known by the filthy parking lot, dirty door and windows. But the…read morereviews convinced me to try it anyway. The initial greeting was solid. After that it was all downhill. Entered to a slightly busy restaurant. Told to take any seat I did and was immediately surprised that the table was very wet and sticky. The cashier/server said "oh I just wiped that down " and handed me a menu. I sat there reading the menu. After a few minutes I put the menu down. The table was dry and guess what? Sticky. No problem just got up and moved to a new table. Ordered my food. Got to sit next to the cashier who pretty much was just flipping pages on his phone. Seated next to me was a delivery driver who was watching videos on his phone with the volume turned up. Ordered egg rolls, spring rolls, Anchi's Combo Sandwich. The egg rolls were tasty but tiny. I mean tiny. I get these at Vietnamese restaurants all the time and these are small the peanut sauce was meh. Next came the spring rolls or should I almost Spring rolls . On the smaller side with a fresh wrap. Only it was 80% shredded lettuce, 10% noodles and the smallest split shrimp. Nothing else! Not a slivered of carrot or cucumber or a touch of mint and or basil. Which means there's NO flavor.Even the dipping sauce was boring. Okay the sandwich has to be good I've never had a bad one. Until now. It came out oozing with what I'd called "buttery mayo" which it may have been but it drenched the sandwich and made it a sticky mess. Sticky now (I understand the table.) Most of the ingredients were sliced into tiny slivers even the meat. I was so disappointed in the whole experience. Did I say something no I never saw the "server" again at the table. But I could see him flipping through his phone nonstop during my entire visit. Oh and to top it off the driver had laid his head on his arm while his phone was still on an he was asleep. So after having to get up and ask for my check. After which time I was told to walk around to the cashier counter (I kid you not.) My 1 and only visit ended.

For others it's a great meal before events such as games. The drinks are pretty great but eating is mostly why people come it seems. A pretty unsuspectingly good place based on how it looks. It's got a pretty simple entrance followed by stairs. The sandwich board is how it caught our attention so we knew it was there. At lunch it had a pretty big crowd. We were still able to get seats at the bar and get the full menu. It's about $12 for a cocktail. They have quite a few of these. I got the Blanc Negroni. This is made with Bar Hill Gin, persimmon, and Spanish vermouth. It's about $16 for an entrée. We of course got noodle ones. A few to choose from. There's other entrees that have rice. Only a few are made with noodles, and the broth ones are made with beef, chicken, or pork, so we had to get the stir fry ones. We each got it with the Udon. For us it was the only good choice. The other noodle choices were crunchy egg and lo mein. Comes with a protein choice. We each got it with tofu. A pretty great light spice to it. There were also bean sprouts and peppers. For sure we could go here again. It's located at Pearl and Swan. They're closed Sundays to Tuesdays.

Noodles and dumplings is a diamond in the rough. Situated in Downtown Hamilton the restaurant is…read moreextremely small giving an almost street food ambiance as best it can. Seating for about 8 -10 people. This particular day I ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup. A massive bowl of fresh hand made noodle and fresh wontons in a delectable broth. This broth was not hot chili wise as some other soups they offer with naked thus place unique. Each bowl is crafted with a different taste and being a small place the chef is visible to see! The attention to detail in every bowl is amazing as he takes time to perfect each to be a perfect presentation. Very hawker/street style! No need to go to Toronto it's all right here. The hours are limited during the week and more flexible on weekend as the there is only one guy (the chef) and a counter person. highly impressed highly recommend
