My friends and I went to Pinot's Palette for a delayed birthday party (the first day it was snowing, so they let us reschedule pretty easily). We will admit to picking our evening based on when they were offering $5 mimosas, but we also enjoyed our painting. The instructor was friendly, and so was the bartender. They had 2 classes going on - our flower painting and one of their black light classes, which looked very cool when I peeked in. The painting was fun, and it was paced well so everyone could follow and was able to finish on time. We had plenty of supplies and they provide aprons in case you get messy. WE had a great time and left with different variations on the same project, which is one of my favorite parts!

So you go to these places as a participant expecting to just not be that great at art, or get much out of it, but I can honestly say our experience was so fun and we were encouraged from the moment we stepped in the door. An enthusiastic host and a very organized studio welcomed us! As we sat down some sing along tunes were pumping us up and Kayla took our drink orders. The drink menu was quite good with a great variety of options. Our teacher was kind and patient and took her time with us. We felt empowered as we attempted a classic Van Gogh piece. Just the best night! To top it off a generous bowl of candy was passed around! Bonus!! No doubt we are signing up again. It's a unique night out for sure!

Pinot Palette is fun wine and learn hosting establishment. They are located nationwide. They are located right on North High street and offer some fun painting opportunities with your girl friends or a nice date night! They host several classes throughout the day. A single slot might have two different options from which you can choose from. They are trainer led so you do not need to be a Picasso. They walk you through step by step. They have everything ready for you right from the canvas, to aprons to colors and brushes. You just need to show up and have fun. The entire painting session runs for about 2hrs while you sip your vino! Our class was packed and we had so much fun! Next time you have Pinot Palette near you definitely go take a class! Highly recommended

Our finished paintings! Cool to see how different they turned out from blank canvas to finish.

Wonderful experience at this venue! They were so very welcoming and accommodating. It's an inviting space from the moment you arrive. The staff were all helpful and nice and cheery. The event, and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was easy to reserve and to make sure we sat with friends. Nice set up though a tad crowded in the room as they had a large party event in the larger space. Still plenty of room to work. The instructor was upbeat, friendly and helpful. It was easy to follow the directions, and we have plenty of creative freedom and help to go in a different direction if we wanted. The owner was very involved and so very sweet. I will definitely return. Great fun!!

If you're looking for a fun activity during these cold winter months, look no further than Pinot's Palette! I attended a painting class here on a double date with some friends for Valentine's Day, and we had an absolute blast. Upon arrival, we were able to stash our coats in cubbies by the front door and then make our way to our personal easels. I loved the way our names were written in chalk at our seats - there was no confusion at all about where to sit, and it was easy to get settled in, don our aprons, and get started. Our instructor was so funny and outgoing and really encouraged all of us to make our paintings our own. I loved her positivity and her ability to find something to compliment in each of our paintings. As she walked us through each step, we really felt like true artists! I've been to "wine and paint" events before when I lived in Pittsburgh, but these were slightly different - liquor laws in PA allow you to BYOB to the event, but in Ohio, you must buy your beverages at the venue. I was slightly concerned about how things would work with painting but also wanting to go to a bar to get beverages at the same time; but there was actually a very attentive bartender who made his rounds quite often to take drink orders, so it was really seamless and we never had to leave our seats or miss out on steps of the painting process. As a side note, the drink options were really awesome (the bar has liquor as well as wine) and my cocktails were nice and strong. If there's one small piece of constructive criticism I could provide, I would suggest to maybe give just slightly more time between each step in the painting process. Our instructor did move pretty quickly and while we were able to keep up, there were a few instances where we wished we had a little more time to paint and relax. Overall, though, this was seriously such a fun experience and my friends and I all left saying we couldn't wait to come back again!! Definitely check their schedule online for a fun date night or night out with friends!

Possibly my favorite place in Columbus. I cannot overstate how much I love Pinot's Palette. I've been to a couple other wine and paint places and enjoyed them, but there's just something AMAZING about Pino's! Been for my birthday (and received a wine glass and treats plus coupon, thank you!). Been after work with co-workers just for fun, and been out with friends just for fun!! Everyone always has a blast! The owner has even come out and chatted with us, helped with the paintings, and just been very friendly. The instructors are amazing! I have overused water many times and they always rush to dry it to make sure I don't fall behind and I'm so appreciative! The bartender is always on point and great at recommendations and checking to see if you want a second round. I adore this place!!!

    New paint and sip option!

What a great space to paint and sip! Located in the former Fabian spot in the Short North. I think this might be my next go-to place to get the creative juices flowing. Speaking of flowing, there is a FULL BAR to help ya loosen up. All of their classes are listed on their website and they have artist lighting which really helps the magic happen. I love that there is a private party room and catering is available.

If you're looking for a paint night in Columbus, THIS IS IT. I've been to studio 614, I've been to paint nites hosted by local bars, but this trumps it all. I love the story behind the spot. It's a couple that loved to paint together, the woman had worked in the financial industry for 20 some years and they decided to open the spot in February 2020, right before the pandemic hit. They thankfully made it through and remained open. What I love most is the variety in picture paintings. They offer so many options throughout the week and weekend. My instructor, Paiten, was incredible. This was only her third class but you could tell the passion is there and art is her calling. She was great at explaining her technique and thought process but was really encouraging the class to take their own approach on how they wanted to interpret the painting. The class was well paced; not too slow or too fast! Finding your station when you walked in was easy - the tables are chalk board and your name is written on the table. My boyfriend and I had our station in a second room, which I much preferred because it was much more intimate and you had more attention from the instructor. All the seats were 6 feet apart, and unless you were taking a sip of your drink, your mask had to remain on. If you need more paint, the instructor gladly poured more on your plate. If you're 21 and up, they do offer drinks while you paint, but they also offer non alcoholic beverages as well! It's not limited to just wine either - it's also cocktails too! My boyfriend and I had 2 malbecs each and it was about $30 not including tip. The instructor as well as the Owner were walking around the entire time to ensure everyone was keeping up or to answer any questions anyone had. It was such a fun date night - I can't wait to be back again soon!

Absolutely love this place! The instructors are AMAZING and so helpful. I started painting at home because of the support they give. I've been back repeatedly and bring new friends each time.

We had a great time at Pino's Palette for my birthday. The class flew by, 2 hours was very fast! Great teacher, good drink menu and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
