What's left of the carne asada.
    Patt G.

It was okay. My Nicaraguan friend brought me here for dinner. We had the carne asada, which may or may not be the correct spelling. The flavor was good but I found it a bit chewy. The beans were tasty, and the fried cheese. The fried plantains were my favorite.

You can smell these carne asadas from across the street. I ordered the carne asada with yellow rice. Steak was cooked to a med well. Yellow rice was a little on the hard side. The flavors was definitely there. I don't know if you can pick your meat temperature but next time I will ask for medium. Other menu items looked good as well. I was also charged a extra $1.50 for something not sure as I didn't get a receipt.

This spot is a hit!!! The food is fresh and affordable. So very tasty!!! I visited this location today for the first time. You know the food is great when the line is always long and constantly moving... I also had some food catered to my job from the Miami location arranged by Esther. She really hooked us up!!! Everyone loved it, and we got many compliments on the food. The price that we paid was WELL WORTH IT!!! We will be back again!!!

Such fast service and delicious food. Definitely top 3 fritanga in Miami so far for me. Out of everywhere it has the best cacao as well!

Can't go wrong with pinolandia. I can't speak for the ambience or service because I usually order Uber eats. The portions are large, and the meat is always tender and tasty

The food is amazing. Pinolandia is my favorite fritanga spot(Nicaraguan restaurant). Today I wanted sweet plantains but there was a wait for more and my hunger wasn't having it. So I took the vegetables instead and I wasn't disappointed. Delicious like everything they make. Iv been driving from pines to downtown Miami to get Pinolandia on NW 12 ave for way too long and they must of noticed. This location is 8 minutes away from me. After finishing my food I had to write some more. The rice alone is an amazing meal. Needs no sides to be amazing. Last but not least the little bag of salad is addictive.

It was on a Friday night and they had live music playing with was nice for the occasion. With our pre-selected menu, we ordered a glass of Cabernet, their house salad (very vinegary!!! A tad bit too much in my personal opinion), and for entree the 8 oz baby tenderloin churrasco. (Shout out to one of our waiters! I didn't catch her name but she was honest with the menu recommendations and advised us to order the baby tenderloin churrasco which was a hit!). The mariquitas kept on coming around the table and we were stuffed. Another perk was how fast the service was. Even with our large group, we barely waited in between courses. If you want good Hispanic food on the fly, this is your place.

Though they have a preset menu for corporate type events, our boss was generous enough to let us select off the open menu. The decor is made to look like the inside of a hacienda with the tile roofs and stucco columns (yes you tell I'm a structural engineer :) The music was mostly 80s ballads, and service was very attentive. They even brought one of the desserts with a candle for a colleague's birthday, and took our group's photo. We started with a couple of baskets of buttered herbed Cuban bread and dipping chimichurri, as well as an appetizer sampler including refried beans, fried cheese and tequenos. The fried cheese was served on a little piece of pita bread and is a must try. I also enjoyed the refried bean soup, especially when dipped with plantain chips. As far as my main course, everyone knows how much I love cows! I enjoyed a sizable piece of churrasco, juicy even at medium well, sweet plantains and moros (here they serve it with red beans instead of black beans) and crispy house-made plantain chips. The Tres leches was also very fluffy, with a lot of cream and perfect enough to send me to a nice little after lunch nap. I also washed it down with Cortadito.
