I also remember it to be relatively cheap, like $3 or so if I remember correctly. Pricing will vary depending on your type of key. Better value than Canadian Tire, which charges about $6~ flat per key. It doesn't matter if it's a mailbox or door key. I also remember the man working the counter was really nice. I've gotten a few more keys done over the year, and sometimes, I had to resort to Canadian Tire or Walmart even if I don't quite want to. Why? The only issue is they open only on weekdays and close quite early on weekdays, so I don't make it there on time.

On Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM, a technician arrived at my home for a service call. When he asked if I had other concerns, I asked a straightforward question. Instead of answering, he became visibly upset, aggressive, and began raising his voice inside my home. When I calmly asked him to leave, he walked out, turned around, and swore at me (using the F-word) at my own front door. I immediately called customer service and spoke with a representative named Jam, who assured me a manager would call first thing Monday morning. No one called. I finally received a call on Monday afternoon from a manager named Carson, who spent the conversation defending the technician's unacceptable behaviour. Carson promised to follow up with me by Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, but completely ghosted me. I have left multiple messages on Sept. 25, Sept. 28, Sept. 29, and today, Oct. 1, 2026. Representatives confirm he is in the office but refuse to provide his extension or connect me, meaning my concerns are being actively ignored. Grand Alarms is sending aggressive individuals with severe anger management issues into people's homes, and their management team actively covers for them. Walked into the small and dirty shop to be greeted by a sweaty guy who had been chilling in the back until we walked in. Most of the technology looked outdated: vintage walkie-talkies, tape recorders, fake police badges. The place​ smelled weird too. Couldn't wait to get out of there! You could find cooler and more modern spy gear somewhere online.
