This is the dumbest and most disorganized pharmacy I have ever used. Sometimes they have given me…read morethe wrong prescription. Sometimes it has been the inaccurate amount of pills. Sometimes it has been the inaccurate price, or charged when I shouldn't have been. Their rules I guess change from week to week and from person to person. Sometimes they will not fill a medication and say that even if insurance would pay for it then, it is the pharmacy rules not to fill it yet. If you call back and talk to another person, they run it though and say okay it is ready for pickup. Interesting. They are the most sporadic pharmacy I have ever used. And it isn't just me, I have had 2 family members had issue with them lately too. I don't know if it is the management, the pharmacists, or the rotating employees through the Southaven Kroger pharmacy at Goodman and Getwell or what, but me and my family are all changing to another pharmacy. Good riddance!

Dear Sir or Ma'am, I…read moream writing in reference to an incident that occurred at the Kroger Pharmacy located on @ 3095 Goodman Rd E in Southaven Mississippi. I tried to pick up my prescription at the drive through on 6/30/2021, at approximately 1:45pm (CST). I identified myself as XXXXXXXXX. The employee asked me if I was with Tricare, to which I replied No, I am covered by the Mission Act for Disabled Veterans. I then informed them that i had a toll-free number they could call if they had any questions. I was told to wait. The employee came back and asked if the visit was "pre-authorized". Federal law establishes that Urgent Care/walk-in care does NOT require preauthorization. I stated that it had to be because the provider called in the medication to them, but they could call the number if they would. I was told to wait again, then was told I'd have to come back later. I told them I was on my lunch break and I needed the medication. Again, I was told to wait. Then the employee came back and asked for the number. I gave it to them and was told to wait further. I did. The employee then came back claiming that the number wasn't working. I told them that it was, as I just called it. After a few minutes I began to get upset that they seemed to just want me to move on, and were refusing to call and get the authorization they thought they needed. I was told that they were not familiar with the Mission Act and that I needed to move "out of my lane.", to which I replied; "Do you treat all of your Disabled Veteran's is it just me?' "I'm not moving, I have waited long enough and you need to give me my prescriptions." I was then told that I would have to come back later, but I refused to do so, asking for them to just call the number. At this point they threatened to call the Southaven Police Department on me, and the employee hung up the receiver on me. I continued to push the call button until they picked back up and asked to speak to the head pharmacist. I was told her was too busy to come to the window, and that if I didn't move, they would call the police. I then asked why they would not simply call the number and ask for authorization to which I was told that doing so would be a HIPPA violation....So I guess them calling hundreds of times per week would all be HIPPA violations with that thinking.... The employee at this location made me feel like a was worthless in their eyes. They do NOT know what the LAW is concerning the mission act, and I felt that they acted this was because of my disability. We loose on average 22 Veterans to suicide per day, many over trivial thing such as this. I felt like a second-class citizen and I immediately had a panic attack and went back to Red Med to ask them to send my prescription to Wal-Mart to be filled. I would imagine that the whole encounter is on camera and I have not misrepresented anything in the statement above. Please help so that other Veterans do not have to experience the shame and humiliation I did at the hands of this Kroger employee. Respectfully, XXXX
