As for the rooms have very much to be desired. There are no real handicapped amenities, don't sit on the beds besides the weight of a feather. All the outlets are very old and if your devices stop working, it's probably the outlet let the plug fall out. They seem to eat in the bar area only. As alchohol makes me sick, I only ate there once. Prices are decent considering the rest of the town is overpriced so the penny pinching Board of Directors in Hollister must be slipping the money in their pockets. The have another opening for BOS. But honestly, who would want to be on the Board of Supervisors in SBC. With the thousands of new homes installed without proper drinking water, their plan is to charge you for the water you drink and that's how the charge you for your sewer services. I wouldn't drink the water here, and I don't think anyone does. The sewage goes thru a processing of sorts, mix it back with about 10-30 percent clean water and sell it back to you as DRINKABLE. Buy the bottles water and avoid drinking or bathing in the local water as they still find contaminants including pill, narcotics that people have flushed down the sewer. If you get a rash, or physically sick theu have a brand new 25 bed hospital for you to go to. And if your sick, you'll just have to go home and pray for the best. If you die, SORRY. If you end up needing a larger than child size MRI, YOU'LL either have to be transported by Ambulance the 1 hour to either Salinas or San Jose. While we're on the subject, if you work in the Bay Area you will probably have to leave at about 4am to get to the San Jose Bay Area. This might have been a little town, with a few roads leading out for the Fruits and Vegetables. But now that the state has mandated that we add 25000 homes, and Destroy the land that used to supply crops, and food to 1/8 of America's you'll have to start looking elsewhere for food at a much higher price. And don't forget on that 2 hour plus commute back to what was once Beautiful Hollister to stop and get gas on the way home. COSTCO'S only 45 minutes away, so you won't lose much time if you fuel up on the way home. But be careful. Our new road construction has added multiple ROUND A BOUTS. One we call Accident hill and the other we call bumper call circle. Both are pretty dangerous as new, unexpected ones are coming in daily as we get ride of those old stop lights. It keeps our intrepid firefighters, ambulances and police plenty of work to be done instead of catching those thieves breaking into cars. And that's a reminder, DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR. LOCK IT UP, INSIDE THE LOCKED UP GARAGES. You never know when those thieving Salinas,Bay Area, or Central Valley will come looking for a place to scam to break into. They may even be wearing matching Jackets and badges saying they work for a power company. So be watchful of those sneaking around your property and that of your neighbors early in the morning or late at night. Whenever you come, make sure you're safe. Because a 2x4 up side your head is not what your looking for in beautiful Hollister.

We got there just in time although we left hour before. Anyhow, it was a hot SAT but nice with the golf cart, I wouldn't recommend walking on this course, quite hilly indeed, on a hot day it's a no no. I know giving 5 stars is not correct, but I liked the golf course layout and the price is quite attractive. I'm sure if it has the whole 18 holes instead of 11 holes, it would charge much more. Some of the fairways are spotty because lack of grass, but the grass parts are very nice and great IMO. Hit the fairways and you're ok. The green grass are thick so it's extremely slow, the speed is not correct, although many greens are slopped but they won't roll as they should so putt harder. The sands are soft and perfect, I only got in a bunker once so can't tell about others. So, we played first 9 holes with white, then came back 10 with black, when it went to 16 from the same T as 7 then it split to the left fairway to a new hole 16 which was nice and up hill as most of the holes on this course. Then the 17th holes T using the same green as #8 is beautiful. We love these 2 holes, #8 and #17, people can drive to the green on the 17, I don't drive long but I was 100 yard to the green. If you don't hit straight, then you may find the hills and rocks not friendly, the fairways green are great IMHO. Beginners may find this golf course challenging, but if you use the soft fairways as practice then it's great, don't score, just play. The greens are slow so easier to putt NOT to go all over the place. I think the golf course is being renovated, for $25 a game with cart, I would come back and can't wait to see when it's totally renovated. It's further than Coyote, but less crowded. The round was 4hr and 15 minutes on a SAT was quite good unlike many other golf courses. Look at the pictures I took and the layout of the holes to have some ideas of the layout, fairways and greens.

At least have a sign up or something that says "walking course only" .. Last week, I came at the same exact time and was given TWO carts. All three spaces were just breathtaking and made for the perfect day. Everything was clean, organized and ready to go the day of, and the prep beforehand was also a breeze. It was also a very nice touch that both the bridal and groom parties were able to have a space on site to get ready the day of! Taylor is AMAZING! I worked with her from beginning to end, and she made my experience such an easy and fun experience. She is super fast with her responses, and very detailed as well. Plus she's just a super sweet person overall. She made the wedding planning seamless, which helped to confirm I could never turn into a Bridezilla!! Due to Covid, we weren't able to do a taste test for the food, but Taylor said the food was amazing, I trusted her, and it turns out the food was REALLY amazing. We chose steak, salmon, and pasta primavera and the guests were in love! The service here was also phenomenal. We asked for a few extra things here and there and they were able to accommodate. Amazing amazing staff!! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking to get married in the Santa Cruz/Aptos area. Thank you Taylor and thank you Seascape!!

For the price on a holiday weekend, this course isn't terrible, but overall it's pretty boring and…read moredisappointing. The greens are extremely slow, and the course is not well maintained. You can hit a decent shot and still lose your ball in the rough or fringe because the course is very messy--tall grass, weeds, and white acorns everywhere make it hard to find balls even after good shots. The clubhouse is old and stale, and while the course has a lot of potential, it's currently below average at best. That likely explains why the price is so cheap. I wouldn't recommend this course. You're better off spending a little extra and playing at Pacific Grove, Pasatiempo, or anywhere in Monterey. This one can be skipped altogether.
