Want to start by advising anyone to not move here unless it's your last option…read more We lived here for two years. During that time we had a gun pulled on us, gunshots or fireworks was a game we played, neighbors that left their kids outside while they smoked weed in their house while letting the kids leave all the trash all over the place. If you like trash everywhere this is the place for you. If you like maintenance showing up days later after you filed a request this is the place for you. If it snows and ices over and you like walking up a steep hill up to a quarter mile on ice because they don't salt the roads, this is the place for you. Anyway, the real issue is that a maintenance worker came into fix our sink drain and instead of fixing it, he tried to use bleach, and something happened, which left bleach all over our kitchen floor, everything under the sink trashcan, and then he tracked it to the bathroom and got it over everything in there as well, pictures are below. I get accidents happen, but he did not tell the community Manager, or at least she says because now I'm starting to believe they just try to shove everything under the rug and Hope It just goes away. Reason, I say that is because when I went down to the office, they had no idea that he left that mess, and he said that the issue was resolved. So I sent pictures as requested and don't hear back for a week. Then I sent an email Asking for a follow up. Try to call them. They don't answer the phone. Finally, I get a hold of someone because our sink and dishwasher wasn't working for three days and they sent out a contractor who leaves my key to my place in Antioch Tennessee under the rug, or anyone could've grabbed it and got into our building . They didn't care about that at all. I then had to explain to the upper Manager. What was going on with her apartment and apparently she didn't know because nobody communicates there I guess. She said she would have everything resolved, and then I called back two weeks later cause we had just moved out and did not hear anything from her. And she was like oh it was a pipe burst or something like that and it was the staff that cause it. She then was like your wife called me and told me on the phone that you know a pipe burst in your apartment. I was like no. That's not what she told you. She called you and said exactly what I just laid out in front of y'all. Fast-forward another two weeks. We are still under lease, but moved out early because we hatted living there. She said someone needs to get into your apartment because there's a leak below. I'm like cool. What's going on with all the damages. She then responds what damages. This is why you should not live there. If anything happens to your property or on your property. Don't expect anything to get fixed fast, and if they damage anything of yours, they will deny it.

I was excited to host friends and family for the upcoming months. I'd gone to the gym, meal prepped, redecorated my bedroom, and packed a bag for a 48 hour Vegas trip I was supposed to leave for the following day. While laying in bed, I heard screaming in the hallway. I checked my Ring camera and saw a man walking past my door cocking a gun. About 20 minutes later, while on the phone with one of my best friends, I heard nine gunshots. I hung up immediately and called 911. As I'm on the phone with 911, I looked out my front window, I watched a young man collapse into the bushes right outside my apartment. The police took 11 minutes to arrive. Those are what seemed to be the longest 11 minutes of my life. I had no idea where the shooter was. Later, I learned he was a resident of the complex. I never stayed in that apartment again. The bag I packed for Vegas became the bag I lived out of for the next week. When I reviewed my Ring footage afterward, I saw a man running for his life with blood pouring out of him all over my doormat. I saw bullets flying through the air. I saw the video of a gun being cocked directly in front of my door. This all happened at the apartment I once loved: Mainstead at Century Farms. The next morning, instead of going on vacation, I went to the leasing office. The property manager, Kelly, was kind and professional, and I don't blame her personally. I was told the only thing they would do was cut my buyout fee in half. I agreed. Then I read the document they sent me. It included a non-disclosure agreement stating I could not discuss what happened "on social media or otherwise," and that if I did, I could owe $5,000 plus attorney fees. I was expected to pay a significant amount of money and stay silent about a murder that happened at my front door. I told them I would not sign an NDA. I was directed to contact their attorney. I emailed the attorney four separate times and never received a response. I even contacted the attorney to let her know I was fine with paying the full fees but I would not sign an NDA. Yesterday, I was notified that my account had been sent to collections, meaning I'm now paying the full fee anyway. Which is perfectly fine and no NDA was signed. I'm not posting this to be inflammatory. I'm posting so people know what has happened at this apartment complex and how it's handled afterward. Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live, and they deserve transparency when that safety is taken from them. Attached our pictures of blood on the concrete and the walls, and a picture of a bullet flying through the air.

A few months back, we had issues with the constant fire alarms, amenity hours, and the customer service. Since voicing my concern as a resident, there's not been a random fire alarms and if there is one to come the staff have made sure to notify us in advance. Amenity hours have been adjusted for residence to enjoy this beautiful complex. Customer service has been great as well with facility repairs being responded to right away and having someone come in as early as the next day, and just small request here and there with packages, communicating with residents for even small work that they have to get done. Overall, the experience then that made us feel like we had no choice but to look for other places have been overturned and now we are so excited to extend our lease with Mainstead. We love our apartment, we love living here, and we love the staff. Thank you so much for making our stay at Mainstead amazing

To get into the contest, you had to write a good review about this place. Don't be fooled. 2. "Luxury Living": They don't take care place of this place, period. The breezeways look like Halloween started in February with all the spider webs and leaves stuck all over them. There was a fridge in the hallway for more than five weeks. Pest control was another big issue, the apartment was filled with centipedes and crickets, and when this was brought up, management said it was not worth it to respray anything. When the whole "this place looks like crap" situation was addressed, Kali, the property assistant manager, kept using as an excuse the death of the former groundskeeper and how they couldn't find anyone to take care of the property. There was no discount or even an email to the tenants about the situation explaining why the place didn't look like a "luxury" community. 3. The Anson is located in Antioch: It's still counted as a part of Nashville, but It's viewed as its own town. So, your address will say 951 Brittany Park Drive, Apt ***, ANTIOCH, TN. Let's say the South of Nashville is not the safest area in Nashville. Every night, all night, you can hear police, firefighters, and ambulance sirens. There have been multiple assaults and robberies right outside The Anson in Bell Rd. Here are some news articles from 2021 that prove my point https://www.wkrn.com/news/crime-tracker/suspect-sought-after-antioch-gas-station-robbed-at-gunpoint/ or https://www.wkrn.com/news/crime-tracker/police-searching-for-suspect-who-robbed-fifth-third-bank-in-antioch/ Don't trust the gate. Most of the time is broken or, like any other gated place, anyone can come through after a car. THIS AREA IS NOT SAFE. 4. Amenities: They take pride in talking about how they are a pet-friendly community, but beyond a pet post on their Instagram, there's not much they offer. Their pet's spa bath area was constantly clogged with dog hair and was unavailable most of the time. When it was brought up, their question was: "What's your definition for dirty?" There are pet stations around the community full to the top for days. I have attached some photos. When the pet station situation was brought up, they said, and I paraphrase, that the amenities were a privilege and the pet stations were part of that; I was NOT paying for it, and they could take it away whenever they considered they were in their right to. I'm cool with that, just clarify it since day 1. 5. Mold: We had mold all over our apartment (You can see the photos), and when it was brought to management, they came and inspected and BLAMED THE SMOKE OF A SINGLE CANDLE in the kitchen, saying it was smoke marks when there was actually mold coming out of the light switch, inside the closets and over the door frames. We took the matter into our hands. A week before living, when we came to talk about it, Kali was scandalized and said it was a liability and questioned us why we didn't bring it up before while blaming our communication skills. WE BROUGHT IT UP THROUGH THE SYSTEM THEY implemented online, and when we mentioned it, she got defensive and said that something happened with it around August-September, where they lost everything submitted. Bonus: Before leaving The Anson, we got charged $50 for leaving our trash outside without a bin. It's true; there's a rule that says that you will be fined if you do what we did, but there are also many other rules in that same document that are not being followed, and there weren't any consequences. While talking to Kali, she mentioned that she would remove the fine (and she did) but that they were implementing one rule at a time. NO. You either enforced all of them simultaneously, letting people know you are starting to enforce them, or you don't implement any.

So much for being called the #1 pool in Nashville.)It's been 2 years living at the anson, there has been about 1-2 leasing/ management changes for the time living here. At first leasing agents were on top of things, pool was cleaned, plenty of community events, maintenance was up kept with the property. Unfortunately beginning April 2024 out of nowhere new leasing ladies came in. Since then it has been a bit downhill from then. Trash all over the property, recycling & trash compactor being overfilled( photos to show), pool for the summer has been dirty here and there especially being called "#1 pool in Nashville". Parking lots are full a bit tough to get parking. Maintenance guys are just seen smoking around the property and on there phones in complex buildings hiding. The units are modern and nice but cheaply/ quickly built. Noticed drywall screws coming out and paint cracking all along the walls. Other then that they are pretty nice, is it worth $2k+ in rent ????to each there own. It's supposedly a gated community but for what??? Cars come right behind a car who has the access card and tailgate then all the cars come right in. Before they installed a pole to come down for each car but they ran it over and management never fixed it. We've seen car break ins and it's still Antioch what can you expect. Move in at your own risk, hopefully things change because this was a place that was so nice but staff/ management aren't doing much at the moment.
