While I was not in the room the whole time, I saw and/or heard about the whale, plank, roller coasters, some other thing where you had to eliminate other figures, bow and arrow, double lasers and space shooting. I needed a space to work over the Christmas/New Year break and was surprised to see that a…read moreco-working space existed around downtown Gastonia. The parking was fine but maybe needed some clarity as there was a restaurant and post office adjacent to the lot. It's a gravel lot basically with no clear signage. Not a big issue but FYI. There's a handful of places to visit within walking distance for eating and shopping. Very small town feel. Inside the office, the receptionist welcomed me and was new but friendly and professional. She helped me get set up on the app (still a work in progress) and gave me a quick tour. The big main spaces were already reserved but the phone booth space was adequate to my needs. The internet speed was decent but there was no ethernet cable for direct connection. The common kitchen area was clean and beverages were available as well as small snacks. Terry, the director for the space, was very helpful in troubleshooting issues with billing and reservations. Pricing was also reasonable for a one-day pass. Military veteran pricing is available. If I came to the city more often, I'd get a subscription because it's very close and isn't overcrowded like some co-working spaces.

The bigger portion of the boat was upstairs where it could fit more people. However the indoors downstairs did have ac and a few seats. Only were seats around the bar upstairs. The ride took 3hrs, on a beautiful day it's an epic trip. It was hot but no rain to ruin it so it worked out perfectly. When we first got here at 11:30 it wasn't too crowded since the temperature was cool today, but it was quickly got busy. A little disappointed that they were short staffed as the staff member doing the Wax hands was also doing the bumper cars and he was busy for like an hour so the bumper cars were not running. The challenge zone is a joke. There are weeds, nets are broken for the basketball hoop and the little trampolines for the aero ball cover are with pine and so worn and shredded. We only found one ball and it was ripped and deflated. If I ever came back again, it would definitely be on a day that they have a special or a deal. Ropes course and zip line is definitely great for beginners kids or adults. I just feel like the price should not be charged fully is everything is not working and available.

We went explicitly for mini-golf and played one round of it, so this review is limited to that experience. The staff was pleasant and welcoming and the course was entertaining. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are holes where there is a risk that your ball will fall into flowing water but that did not present a problem for our group even though multiple balls fell victim. Overall, we had a great time. The crowd was very bearable and did not interrupt the flow of our game. On an advisory note, the golf course is pretty much open air so dress appropriately if it's a hot/sunny day. I look forward to going back for additional rounds of golf even though there is only one course. I'd also like to try my hand at the axe throwing. After our first visit, I would comfortably recommend.

I booked this venue for my daughter's baby shower (my first grandchild) because she wanted to have…read moreit near family so her great grand parents could attend. Neither my daughter or I live in North Carolina so we had to travel. When I first reached out to the owner Nicole she was very pleasant and it made me feel comfortable to spend my money with her. She provided me all the details involved in my package and I was satisfied with the details and what I was getting for my money so, I locked in. Once locked in Nicole's communication changed. She took forever to respond back to my questions about decor and then proceeded to tell me we have plenty of time to go over decorations because my shower is in January and we will get tighter in December to discuss. I understood and tried not to bother her unless I had questions that needed to be answered from my caterer. December arrives and still nothing so o reached out and again I had to wait for a response. By this time I'm getting anxious because I have already paid the full amount for the for the event. When I did finally speak with her, I asked if we can have a Zoom meeting because I am from out of town to see what she had decorating wise, and she proceeded to tell me that she had not purchased the item yet, but she will have them the day of the shower that made me real uneasy. I contacted her on my way into town to inform her that I will be there and ask if I can come see the venue prior to the baby shower which was three days before and she told me that she would not be available until the morning of that again made me real uneasy because I didn't know what I was walking into. I was informed by my Caterer that she didn't even know what time the event started and she stated that she didn't realize it was that earl. I have never worked with a professional that I was unable to see the event space or the decorations and give my stamp of approval since I am the paying customer and this is my vision that they are bringing to life. On the day of the shower, I received a text message from Nicole that informed me that I can now come before 10 am at 9:15am. I replied back that I was going to be late and Nicole called me 30 minutes later to informed me she had left the venue and proceeded to give me instructions on Cleanup. I was in shock when she said she left because I had never met this woman. Once arrived I had trouble finding the venue because it's inside a building and she had me come through the back. The building has horrible reception and I issues with getting directions from Nicole without going outside because her venue is located on the basement. When I finally got down in the basement and saw the spot I was immediately disappointed. The decorations were lack luster. A lot of wall space that had not been covered with decorations. The table formula daughter and husband to sit at was barely decorated and I didn't care for it at all. I couldn't get anything to work until she finally provided me the WiFi and then only the music I was able to get to work, but I was able was unable to use the tv to do the slideshow of pics we discussed. The bathrooms are on the outside of the venue which isn't a problem unless you have a key which I didn't have and I had to keep asking the ladies across the hall for the key as they were trying to braid hair. No tissue in the rest rooms so we had to figure out who to ask. Had she waited around for my arrival to greet me as a paying customer and give me instructions and a tour in person things could've been a little better knowing your service sucks in a basement. Needless to say, I did not enjoy myself and I tried to keep my cool for my daughter's sake. I wanted this to turn out beautiful. We traveled way too far for mediocrity and I paid a good penny for her service that was very lackluster and unprofessional. I'm just now settling to write this review because I was so disappointed. I couldn't even talk to her when she decided to come at the end for clean up because I didn't want to make a scene and embarrass my child. This experience has put a bad taste in my mouth about planning an event out of state. I hate giving bad reviews, but this experience was horrible.
