I've been here quite a few times with my tot. The place place is always super clean. And I mean both the floors and the inflatables. Also the inflatables are very well kept. Always in great condition. No cracks or slits or duct tape holding pieces together (ahem Monkey Joes). The staff is always very friendly and always engages with the kids. I have fun when we visit but man those inflatables are a workout (lol). Sometimes we come and there are balloons all over the floor and in the inflatables. This takes the fun to a whole new level. Held my son's 1st birthday party here. The kids had a lot of fun but the business is basically run by Teens. I paid $95 for the toddler mvp experience & only received 1 1/2 services included (didn't get bubbles and never received pictures/videos). The staff mixed up my childs cake and decorations with another childs cake & decoration. I paid for 25 of everything & only about 12 or so were set out. overall a very bad experience business wise. read more

Please don't take your children and families here. I was so looking forward to celebrating my daughter's 3rd birthday on March 28th (we've been for several classmates' parties in the past). The Highlights: I am a pregnant Mom with an autoimmune disease. I called to cancel my child's birthday in two weeks (a day shy of their 2 week full refund cancellation window) and they are refusing to honor and are not accepting doctor's letters or making any exceptions. The Details: In light of the international pandemic, I went into my email on Thursday at 11:20PM and responded to the reservation confirmation to ask to cancel (since I was within my cancellation without penalty window anyway). I let them know I was a pregnant Mom with an autoimmune disease, so was going to have to cancel. Amidst all the chaos of the last few days, I noticed today that I received a bounce back on the email. No biggie, right? It was technically 22 hours shy of the two weeks in advance cancellation policy with full refund. I spoke with Sirenity, their Desk Manager, at 2:37PM today, explained my medical situation and the need to cancel (I have family who were planning on flying in and I am due to have my 2nd, so rescheduling isn't on our horizon). I offered her a medical letter without being prompted and gave insight on my autoimmune disease and immunosuppressant medication that puts me at risk. Sirenity then let me know they would be charging the $100 deposit since it was within the 14 day cancellation window (it is Sunday, 3/15, the party is for Saturday, 3/28, so I am one day shy of the 14 day window, pandemic aside). She also did not take my information to make the cancellation until I asked her again to please cancel. She let me know there was no way to supply me with a cancellation confirmation number, but that I should receive an email (it has been a half an hour and still have not received). She let me know that the only person who would be able to help me was the owner, Toni, who might be available on Monday. I asked for the times when Toni would be available and she said she didn't know. She was also not authorized to give Toni's email address or any generic info@ email address for me to contact someone. I manage a business myself and right now we are operating with full transparency, customer service and as much support for our team to have the resources and reach management/ownership with any urgent matters or if they are unsure. Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how our family and our community of mothers is feeling about how this place has handled such a simple, straight forward interaction based in human dignity. This world is a crazy place right now and it's shocking to see how some businesses are handling this international emergency without grace. As I let Sirenity know, I will be continuing to share on review platforms and in every Mom & Parenting group I am a member of in this community. If this is an employee error, I strongly encourage the owners to call an All Hands meeting with their Desk Managers and have a proper Emergency Preparedness Communications meeting, because her lack of tools and service was appalling. read more

The owner is the worst! Both my aunt and cousin fell at her BounceU in the room where you eat and open gifts. Instead of making sure they were okay, the owner instead made shady comments to suggest my aunt's and cousin's shoes caused the accident making them both fall. My aunt said the owner told her that business was slow and completely lacked any concern for her well-being. The owner was only concerned about business, instead of making sure her facility is safe for customers. Complete lack of human compassion and concern for customers in this incident. I would expect better from a business owner. Professionalism and customer service must not be part of the owner's values, because if they were that situation would have been handled completely different. read more

I understand that the owner is sick and they are selling this location. Last Saturday night we took our daughter for Parents night out and sat in the lot for 30 minutes with five other sets of parents and their kids. NO attendants, no workers, no lights , and NO SIGN!! If your gonna close without notice - place a note On the glass as a courtesy to those parents that are still trying to support your business. It's rude and what it doing is ruining the Bounce U Matthews name. I am still getting emails about bringing my daughter for events that I already know it's closed for. I won't be bringing my daughter back to an establishment that could care less about the kids or the parents.... and I would be hard pressed to trust this location again. Update after reply: All I'm saying is there should have been some kind of information stating that the location was CLOSED for several weeks in a row while sending out emails that you were open. You were not open. I sat in your parking lot two weeks in a row on Saturday night with several other parents and kids waiting for something to happen. A light - a person - any sign of life.....and there was NONE. I get that your situation is stressful but all I was saying is put up a sign or don't send an email telling people your open for business when YOU ARE NOT. read more

Yeah, so we were trying to decide between this place and Big Air, which is right down the street, for a bday party. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to see if the rooms were big enough to handle our large party of six year olds. There were six empoyees standing at the front desk, but they didn't acknowledge us when we walked in. When I asked to see the spaces, they said they couldn't do a tour because all the rooms were full. I stated I didnt need a tour, I just wanted to see how big the rooms were and all I need to do was pop my head in the door, but they curtly refused. Sooo, Big Air it is. Same price, better things to do, and way nicer staff. I should actually give them two stars for making my decison easy! read more

We have been coming to bounceU for years now. The parents night out are a big hit in my house sold and the teacher workday camps are perfect. But the "icing on the cake" are the birthday parties. We have had 3 parties here and each have been wonderful, easy, fun and well organized. It was a great experience for everyone! Thank you! read more

Beware - This location is CLOSING but the website is still up and taking reservations and $! My son's party was fully booked for mid-Sept, invitations have gone out, and Bounce U called today to say they were closing the Matthews location. I'm scrambling to find another venue for a disappointed (almost) 8 year old. I've requested a refund, which has not been posted. As of this evening, you can still book a party on the website, with no mention of the location closing. They offered to move the party to the other location, which is no where near Matthews. read more

I made an online reservation for my 3- year-old granddaughter for today. We went and what a bargain!!! We were the only ones there for the entire 2 hours for $7.99 and there was a staff member to take her around and bounce with her. It was the best deal in town! I fell today on a very slippery floor and so did the birthday princess. Multiple party attendees also voiced how slippery the floor was. The party attendant was present and did not say anything to me. Members of our group assisted me off the floor. Once I collective my thoughts, seeing no one came to check on me I went to the front desk and communicated what had happened. While we were speaking the party attendant was near us, and I stated she saw what happened and asked if she did and she stated she did and nodded yes. I sat down and I explained to the owner Julie what happened. I asked her the protocol for when someone falls, (no report form was provided to me). She had me to write my information on a paper. I indicated that my shoes have a tread (she remarked "well they look worn"). She stated that their process is if something is broken, or you are bleeding. I continued to tell her I wasn't from Charlotte and would see if I felt better when I came back home. As I was writing my statement on a "blank" sheet of paper she gave me, she questioned me stating I thought you said you fell on your left side. I politely corrected her stating I tried to break the fall with my left wrist, also showing her where my knee was scraped hitting the floor. I asked for a business card, Julie stated she didn't have one, and that all her information was on the website. She offered/gave me a frozen sponge to place on my ankle. But not to write down her information or share it with me. (wow) I asked her had this ever happened before. She stated no. I asked for a copy of what I wrote with my contact information on it. She did not offer any next steps or a process. Due to it being an important day, and I had to get back to another city, I did not think it would be fitting to ask any more questions. When I went to collect my things, I saw a camera in the room. I went back to the desk and asked if I needed could I have a copy of the footage. She stated she didn't know if you could, she might be able to obtain a copy (wow again, you are the owner). At this point, I politely said thank you and I walked away. The fact is that there was a room full of people including her staff person who witnessed my fall, and it was hard. I am in a little pain and hopefully it is simply bruising. I will see tomorrow, after a night's rest due to me travelling. The passive customer service and lack of accountability is disappointing. The remark about my shoes (which clearly was not the problem - they have tread - and the floor was slippery) along with questioning my fall was disrespectful and showed a lack of good customer services/accountability. The owner would not write down her information. For me today was about my niece and despite my fall and the pause for my group to help me our mission was accomplished. Next Steps: I will be seeing doctor in the morning if I do not feel better, I have the list of attendees (who witness everything including the lack of customer service I received) who have assured me they will submit statements if I need. Fortunately, I am connected to countless attorneys and legal professionals, who I will pick up the phone it needed. Nonetheless empathy and accountability is not what I received today. I've been meaning to write this review for a while, I had my sons birthday party the weekend of August 7 at this location and as much potential that this birthday party could have had, I was extremely disappointed. I paid $500 for a party, I spoke to the owner when I set up my son's third birthday party and she told me that the package includes decorations (which they didn't even bother filling up all of the balloons I gave them, but I sure paid for their helium per balloon) everything else that was supposed to come in the package did come but I was too caught up with my son's birthday party and managing the party to be able to stop and speak to the owner. She promised me that we would have a party host to engage with the kids and make it extremely fun for them. If I would have known that I was paying $500 to rent a room and be the one that was engaging all of the kids I would have never had my son's birthday party here. The girl who was working the party was extremely rude, every Parent in my party was asking me why she was the one hosting the party if she clearly doesn't like dealing with people. She was very unattentive, very rude, brushed everybody off whenever they try to ask her some thing, gave dirty looks, showed her unwillingness to engage and was just all-around unpleasant. When it was time for my sons balloon drop she told me that I had to go gather everybody and tell them to come stand by the balloon stand, as well as every single time we left to another room she would make me be the one to gather everybody up and let them know that we were moving. If I would have known that I was paying $500 to host my own party then I wouldn't have ever came here and I would have just gone to the trampoline park. Then the next day when I called asking for the uowner, whoever picked up the phone told me she was unavailable. I expressed my concerns and was never contacted as far as reimbursement. When my party ended she was very quick to rush everybody out. I was barely able to say goodbye to everybody because she was on my neck asking me how soon I can get all of my things out of the room. On top of that I tipped her $60. I will be reaching out again shortly to speak to the owner for some type of reimbursement otherwise I will be taking it further to higher departments to get this type of business flagged. You cannot take peoples money and Promised them a certain type of business, to not get exactly what was included in that price. It's a shame because this party had a lot of potential but the staff really made my baby's third birthday party an unmemorable one read more

This place is really great and fun, for kids of all ages. I'm a nanny for a 10 and 13year old and they love coming here, for camp and parents night out. The kid love the activities that the party pro's play with them. In response to the owner who shared his perspective 9 months after the review, all I can say is that he was insulting and accused my husband of things that every witness in the building would refute with ease. But, it just proves my point further when someone blames the customer for something they did not even see firsthand. As far as the surveillance tapes, we are still waiting to view them as we were promised. However, I doubt that is going to happen. Again, there are so many other places we can and will spend our money and I urge parents to do so in another spot than this one. Not worth it at all! read more

Took my kids here, age 3, 5, and 7, for Open play and they loved it! They have really cool inflatables and they keep their events separate so it's not too crowded like other places. I took my kids back this past Monday for their camp and they loved it. I had to keep my 3 yr old, but my 5 and 7 year old had a blast in their art camp! I will definitely be back for camp days ( I believe they have it all summer long). If you want your kids to have have fun playing, making crafts, and come home ready for a nap - I highly recommend their camps! Their instructor was super sweet and insured me that they would have a good time and I was not disappointed. read more

i have been looking for different things to do with my 2 1/2 year old grandson that doesn't involve being in the park in the heat all day. I discovered Bounce U and could not have been happier with the experience. My grandson had so much fun! Every employee was so friendly and polite but Chris really made our experience wonderful. He stayed with my grandson the entire two hours helping him climb and slide and jump. He taught my grandson how to climb up and through the obstacle course with such patience. He is a definite asset to the staff. We will definitely be returning soon because it is one of the few places close that younger children have a designated time where they can play together.
