Man did my toe nails, which I don't mind, but nails were not even and polish was not applied well. Unfortunate because si had high hopes.

Pinky Elegant Nails - Manicure with dip powderBeautiful color just in time for spring! - Nail Salons Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

Clean and calm environment. Not noisy and crowded even though it is a small salon. Had mani/pedi done and my nails were done with care and crisp edges. That is important to me as I've been to other salons where the polish is more on my skin than my nail! Will definitely go back. read more

Pinky is, hands down, the best nail artist I've ever worked with. She has a natural instinct and talent for picking colors, and I frequently defer to her when choosing my next look. Frankly, it's an arrangement I love and appreciate because otherwise, I'd be picking the same colors from week to week and never living outside my color comfort zone. I trust and value her opinions. She does quality work and is meticulous with ensuring your new set has no lifting, bubbles, etc. I often observe my nails looking healthier under the dipping powder she uses. A new set or fill with Pinky lasts forever and you know that kind of durability is worth its weight in gold; I can get a little rough with my hands. Lol Additionally, getting a pedicure at Pinky's is always a pleasure and the accompanying foot massage is always heavenly. My toes always sparkle and my feet have never been softer. I appreciate how hygienic she keeps the spas and equipment. It's just another reason I trust her implicitly. I will never stray from Pinky's expertise and service. She has made a lifelong customer in me. read more

While I have been a long time customer, I saw the owner grow contentious over time. I didn't want to wear a mask once several visits ago but relented and after that the friendliness of the owner completely dropped. Then, I accidentally put the wrong time in my calendar and offered to come in later and she said I would have to pay $35 for a no show. It wasn't a total no show it was a change of time. I have been a customer for a few years and with one conversation of a difference of opinion she changed from professional to "0" good service. And unfriendly. Shes a great nail tech but don't do or say anything she doesn't like. You will not get typical friendly Winter Park customer service treatment. She made the tone uncomfortable and I will not go back. read more

Rude! Horrible service - they denied ya aervixw after we waited for 30mins - the owner was really loud and rIse stating she does not a want To take anyone else after having us wait. She stated "I'm the owner and I speak to customers however I want"" never again read more

Very excited I tried this place out! You definitely need to call ahead or make an appointment. Their prices did go up a little from the photo on yelp but worth it. I loved the massage I got during my pedicure, I did wish my manicure came with a deep massage but the feet was a nice touch. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon! It's a small family owned shop. The customer service is outstanding. Pinky is very gifted and knowledgeable about nail care & trends. I drive 30mins to have my sns & pedi done at this salon. My SNS always looks very natural. They always have me in and out within 1 hour. read more

I love the calm atmosphere...very nice, and very talented nail techs! I highly recommend this great little place on the edge of Winter Park

Elegant Nails is located in tiny, tiny free standing building off Aloma, across the street from the Whole Foods in Winter Park. The parking lot is shared with the small dry cleaners next door. I was treated to a pedi here by a friend who had raved and raved about her experience. I walked into the tidy shop and was greeted by the owner who quickly seated me in the last available chair. Happily, my friend finished with her eyebrow waxing and was ready for her pedi just as the gal sitting next to me was leaving, so we were able to easily chat and enjoy our pedi's together. Pedi chairs were very nice massaging chairs. Chanel was wonderful, taking care with my cuticles and giving me a great massage. Great polish job and I left with very happy toes. Cannot beat the prices, great service. I'm guessing that is why the place was completely booked with manis and pedis the whole time we were there! read more

Hidden gem, beautiful nails, and cozy feel without breaking the bank?? Heck yeah! This place is so cute and clean with soothing spa music and essential oils I can't believe I've missed this place for so long. It's very affordable and I feel guilty for ever spending my money elsewhere for a fraction of the quality/service. Also, Pinky is so delicate and professional! She doesn't make you feel like you're asking for too much and is very understanding of your needs. Plus it's family owned and that's always wholesome. The staff are polite and all four times I've gone the place has been very clean. It's best to make an appointment because they're always busy. They only take appointments for SNS dip. Each time I went my manicure was ruined on at least two fingers by the end of the first day. The polish was sticky and appeared old, even though I thought I was making better choices on every visit. I could bring my own but this last issue has me shopping around. I asked Pinky and my nail tech to only file my nails on my big toe, no digging because of having ingrown toenail surgery and doc orders. The nail tech insisted on digging, I had to stop her repeatedly and say no. Not worth the risk. read more

The lady was extremely nice as she welcomed me. As soon as I walked in they were able to take care of me, although if it was the other way and there was a wait, I would've waited. The pedicure was super nice. The lady took her time with massage, which is very pleasing because theres nothing more disappointing than getting a rushed pedicure. She did an awesome paint job, and made sure my nails were dry before I left. I only paid $25, which is a great price for a pedicure. read more

I have been going to Pinky for SNS for many years. She does great work and is so caring. The shop employs Pinky, her husband, and her mother & father. I love that it is a small shop, and always clean, welcoming, and consistent. So much better than a large nail salon where you never know who you will get or the outcome. Her mother gives great pressure point massage with pedicure! Sweet family & great experience read more

I was looking for a manicure/pedicure and was in the area. I had never been to the salon before but figured - why not? I am so glad that I came to this salon for a manicure and pedicure. First, you walk in the salon and it doesn't smell of nail polish, acetone or chemicals. It smells of great incense and candles. The staff leaves the door open for a wonderful breeze. You can actually breath in the salon and don't leave smelling like chemicals. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. Second, it was the most meticulous pedicure I've ever received in my life. My feet have never looked so wonderful or so well groomed. Their chairs were super comfortable and very clean. Third, I have had manicures my entire life but I've never been to a salon where the staff knew that I was a new customer simply from how my previous polish came off. I did not know but the owner of the salon was painting my nails and she instantly knew the work I had previously was not her doing. This impressed me greatly. You must really know your craft to notice such subtle differences. I would definitely recommend this salon. My nails look beautiful and I've received many, many compliments. Plus the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I will certainly be going back! read more

I'd like to start by saying, had I made an appointment with Donna, I'm sure I would have given five stars. I was really encouraged by all the positive reviews. However, below is my experience: I needed to get my nails done desperately and saw I sign on Elegant Nails' front door that said "Walk-ins Welcome!" I thought to myself, "perfect!" I walked in, was greeted nicely and told somebody would be with me shortly. Twenty minutes went by.... Thirty minutes went by... Finally a gentleman with a dragon tattooed on his neck (I didn't catch his name, so this is how I am identifying him) told me to have a seat - great! I sat there for twenty MORE minutes while another technician proceeded to play candy crush on her iPad while waiting for her next appointment to come. Finally, 50 minutes after I walked through the front doors, the man invited me over to his station. Now, I understand that I should have made an appointment, however, the sign did say "walk-in's welcome." The sign should have read "walk-in and be prepared to wait." He finally got started. I requested a gel manicure. He seemed very rushed and moved through the process very quickly. I could tell that my nails were not being kept under the UV lights for long enough (just by having experience with gel manicures at other shops). Sure enough, my left thumb nail didn't take to the gel. He had to start over from scratch on my thumb, which resulted in scraping off my cuticle until my thumb was literally bleeding. He had to put two different types of alcohol on my thumb for the bleeding to stop - OUCH! He started over on my thumb with the base coat and I said "maybe we should leave it under the light longer?" "No" he said "all the other nails are okay." Sure enough, the second time around, my thumb STILL did not set properly. Finally on the third try, my thumb set, though there are ripples in the gel due to his hasty application. It is now one week later and my nails are already peeling up on the ends (they started peeling up only a few days after the manicure). Gel application is supposed to last at least 2 weeks. Had I went with a technician who had more patience, my experience at Elegant Nails would have been much more positive. Everybody else seemed to be having a nice time and enjoying their services. I recommend requesting Donna, the owner. read more

Pinky is the BEST. I came for SNS dip powder. She asked if I liked my snails square or oval. When I said square she then asked wide or thin (never been asked this before. She also asked if I liked the SNS thicker or thin. She was extremely attentive, sweet, and caring. So glad I found this gem. read more

This charming little place off of Aloma Avenue in Winter Park is the BEST! I have had the most Amazing Deluxe pedicures done by Linda!!! Linda and her husband are the BEST ever!! She puts her whole heart into her work and is very attentive. Also I would like to mention "How Clean & Sanitized" they keep their store! It's not only relaxing but it is CLEAN! I have been to places before in the WP area that did not properly sanitize their pedicure bowls and utensils so I was so delighted to see that Pinky's is extremely clean! I have not had a manicure done here yet but from what I have observed while I'm there is that Pinky does excellent work and her customers appear to be very pleased! I HIGHLY recommend Pinky Elegant Nails and I HIGHLY recommend Linda and her husband!!!!!!!! Diane E. read more

Great little spot! I stopped by to do a gel polish change on my toes. The service was super friendly and I got attended right away. The prices are similar if not a little cheaper compared to most nail salons. I paid $22 for a gel polish change whereas normally it'd be $25. They do also offer SNS if you prefer you just need to make an appt in advance. I'll definitely be back! read more

I haven't had my nails done at a salon since the late 90's. I remember the terrible smell, dusty flying everywhere, and feeling like everyone was talking about me.. which is probably why I haven't stepped foot in a nail salon since. I was admiring my friends mani when she came to town and sadly looked at my own neglected hands. I knew I didn't want acrylics and I had heard that the gels can be damaging during the removal but I wanted something that would last a couple weeks, another friend told me about SNS nails and after some internet researching I decided it sounded perfect for me. I had 3 salons picked out and decided that Elegant Nails was standing out to me. I walked in not sure if they would even have an open slot - thankfully they did :D The salon is clean and doesn't smell at all like I remember nail salons smelling like in the 90's, everyone is friendly and welcoming which was amazing since I had NO idea what to ask for. Pinky did a fantastic job - I'm so happy with the SNS manicure, they are strong and yet light! I'm totally hooked and would recommend this salon to anyone who asked. read more

I loveeee the French tipped pedicure I got from this quaint little family run establishment. The woman who did my pedicure (the "mom" of the shop) didn't speak English but she definitely knew what she was doing and gives an amazing much-needed foot massage too. For context, I came on thanksgiving eve because I had recently done a 12 mile run, wear tight close-toe shoes all the time, have brittle weak toe nails that I neglect for 364 days of the year and I finally realized that my poor unkept feet will be privy for all my family, friends, and strangers to see at the Thanksgiving party the following day. So after a quick google search, I had the fortune of deciding on this shop because I honed in on the family-run aspect and the positive reviews. So here's one more positive review to tack on from a very satisfied customer! My feet have never looked nor felt better. And the prices here are also a steal for the quality...so yes I will be coming back. read more

I was in the area and new at that. So I hopped on Yelp and found this cute little spot ! The smell is natural and not overpowering like most salons. It was well unkept and clean. As far as the staff, Pinky (the female owner) made me feel right at home along with her Husband, who actually did my nails depicted below (pink matte stilettos). He got my shape just right and was fast but gentle. For a first timer, they made me feel like a regular. I will continue to have my services here. I'm not a girly girl....so when my mother in law and I went I read a review and was like "why not?" The places my friend recommended had terrible ratings. Then I read about this place. OMG...lavendar massage oil and lotion blended and massaged into legs. A quiet atmosphere with dimmer lighting, everyone is very nice and speak so gently and softly. This place is not like other salons where a t.v. is on or some radio station with bright industrial lighting. They give an incredible massage from feet to knees. The massaging/heated chairs were fabulous. You fall asleep as they massage your legs. The best part, they do your nails as you sit in the chair. I only had mine buffed. Love this because other places they move you from one chair to a different chair. Not here, you are pampered and they are so nice and respectable in their business. Smiles and warm welcomes. I made an appointment and walked through the front door and was greeted by, "Hello Ms. Katherine", as the owner was massaging another clients legs. + :). Now every time my mother in law visits this is our spot to go. read more
