Summer melon. Toppings: lemon zest, watermelon, honeydew and trail mix.

New Flavor is so good and the toppings made it . Summer melon on a rainy day was the perfect dessert for the night.

Plain yogurt with toppings $8.50+ tax

Pinkberry is a FroYo staple of Southern California and nothing else can quite compare to it. The yogurts are all soft serve of course and decadent in their own sense. The price varies depending on size and toppings. A bit more pricey than other shops of its kind, but this is good quality yogurt so you won't feel guilty. This location hardly ever has anyone sitting inside, so not much of an ambiance but you're welcome to seat inside if you like. Nice pleasant service, every time. Cheers to the masters of FroYo Yelpers xx

I love Pinkberry! They have by far the best original flavor. I tried the pineapple flavor and that was very good too. But I love my pomegranate. The service is always fast and the inside is clean. There's 4 tables inside and 2 outside. Coming back again!

Love pinkberry and its quality of frozen yogurt. This frozen yogurt doesn't taste like any other places. The yogurt is so fresh and tastes healthier than most. The small size is a good portion and I love the fresh fruit toppings. Inside has ample seating and is nice and air conditioned. Service is friendly and fast!

I loveeee fro-yo and Pinkberry always satisfies the froyo/sweet treat cravings. The worker let me sample lots of flavors : chocolate hazelnut, coconut and a seasonal almond flavor. Stayed tried and true to my fav plain tart and picked up to 4 toppings which was the perfect combo. It is pricey ($7) but so worth! Better quality froyo than most chain stores.

Some new thing.

I will never come back to this store again. The outside area for eating was dirty and no one bothered to clean up while we were there. Inside were these markers for people to keep their 6 foot distance. I don't know why they have them since no one enforces them and people are on top of each other. The area for toppings was a mess and there was an employee there wearing a plain white tee while working. I mean he looked like he just got out of bed. When we finally were waited on, my grandson asked to sample a new item--they only had 4 choices if your believe that. He was rudely told no, we don't do that anymore. Now, don't try to tell me it is because of Covid. That would be insulting to my intelligence. You take a wee amount, put in one of those small tasting cups and you have a sample. I guess they expected him to order something he has never tried. It is not like he wanted to try chocolate or strawberry, they don't have that. Of the 4 crappy choices, he has never had any of them. They don't enforce mask wearing and they don't ask for Vax proof at all. They just let people crowd in. The server than asked him, so what do you want. She was such a jerk. We left and went to Yogurt Land which is great.

Ordering through Postmates is hit or miss. Very disappointing to open each container and find it's not filled up. Give the marked up price per container of $16.80, this is bad business practices. C'mon, get it together.

Pomegranate/Original Yogurt & Original Yogurt/strawberry lemonade (seasonal)
Liz V.

I love pinkberry and always have. I know it's a little overpriced but I've never had a bad froyo. My usual favorite is the dairy free coconut but it can be a little hard to find. The flavor and texture of the coconut is perfect. When I can't find coconut as an option, I go for the original. Today I mixed original with their seasonal strawberry lemonade. Super refreshing combo. I added fruit and my favorite- the crunch topping. The crunch topping is so addictingly good, I wish they didn't make you pay extra for it. My friend tried the original with pomegranate and she loved the pomegranate!

They have interesting flavors and have expanded quite a bit from their start in Oregon. The Abbot Kinney location was packed and service was a bit slow since their was only one person who was scooping the ice cream and serving as cashier. Honey lavender: Steeped lavender petals in local honey, bringing out more complex and herbaceous flavors. Has a distinct light purple color and did not taste like soap like some places that attempt lavender flavors. Hazelnut cookies and cream: Okay, if you think you've had Cookies & Cream, you haven't tried Salt & Straw's Oregon version. Apparently, Oregon grows like 99% of the country's hazelnuts, and they actually use nuts from their own farm for this. It's a coconut cream base with bourbon vanilla, packed with crushed sandwich cookies and this insane hazelnut butter fudge ripple.

The store itself is very small, so there's not much space to sit inside. We just took our ice cream outside and enjoyed it there. I ordered the signature 3-flavor waffle bowl with brambleberry crisp, toasted s'mores, and wild berry lavender. The flavors were interesting and unique, and each tasted fresh and well-made. Portion sizes were reasonable for the price, though it is a bit on the expensive side -- which isn't surprising given the location in Venice. Service was fine, just two employees handling a busy day, but they managed to keep up without any issues. Nothing particularly stood out, but it all ran smoothly. Overall, a decent stop for ice cream if you're in the area. Worth trying for the creative flavors, but probably not a place you'd hang out in for long.

Be careful with places that don't list prices…read more My fiancée and I were in the mood for a crepe while walking around Venice and came across Sweet Lilly's. We ordered a crepe assuming it would be around $7-$8 like most places, but were surprised when it came out to $17. The gentleman helping us was friendly at first and explained it was a "very big crepe," so we went along with it. With tip, it ended up being over $20. Less than 30 seconds after ordering, we noticed they had an option with ice cream and asked if we could switch. At that point, his attitude noticeably changed and he seemed bothered, saying it would cost more. I told him that was fine, I'd pay the difference -- at that point we were already over $20 anyway. When we finally received the crepe, it was actually a regular, small size -- nothing like what was described -- and he still insisted on charging an extra $2. We didn't have cash, only card, and as a business owner myself, I know it's not practical to run a card for such a small amount, so he let it go after we explained. The main issues: * Prices are not clearly listed -- customers shouldn't have to guess. * Charging $20+ for a basic crepe is already high, then asking for even more is frustrating. * If a customer wants to make a quick change right after ordering, it shouldn't be treated like a problem -- especially when they're willing to pay. * Being in a tourist area doesn't justify taking advantage of people who may not ask prices upfront. Overall, not a great experience due to pricing and customer service.

When I crave a burger, THIS is exactly what I need!…read more This place has hands-down some of the best smash burgers I've ever tasted. I thought I knew what a true smash burger was, but this spot completely changed my understanding of what it should be. The burger was fresh, hot, perfectly smashed, and packed with flavor. Everything tasted like it had just come straight off the grill--because it basically had! The service was fast and efficient, and there are tables right out front of the establishment, which made it easy to sit back and enjoy our meal. And as if the burger wasn't enough, we grabbed a soft-serve ice cream cone for the walk back to the car. It was the perfect stop after a day of shopping, and I left genuinely impressed. I've never had a smash burger quite like this one. I already know that any time I'm back in California, I'll be making another stop here. Truly a 10/10 experience!

Good. Consistently good…read more But not the best. Considering the neighborhood they're in, there are a lot of great quick-burger contenders. But Heavy Handed is also the only place that also serves soft-serve ice cream (with optional glaze), so as a full meal experience, this is where they win. That, and, of course, their very comfy outdoor dining. One standout about their burgers, is they don't drown the patty in sodium, so you get more of the real flavor. So while this isn't my #1 burger, it is for my wife. Fries are good, but I haven't had the opportunity to try their loaded ones (I guess their equivalent of In n Out animal fries?), so that is something I'm looking forward to trying one day. A little on the pricey side if you're comparing strictly burgers, but given the location and atmosphere, it's a definitely worth a try for newcomers.
