Every time I come here the workers are nice and patient when taking my order because sometimes I try new flavors and take a little longer to decide. But my favorite is definitely the Honeycomb! I love the combination of all its flavors. The creamy ice cream paired with the rich peanut butter, delicious brownie pieces, and sweet honeycomb creates the perfect bite. The peanut butter adds such a rich, smooth flavor, while the brownie gives you those decadent chocolatey bites, and the honeycomb adds a fun sweetness and texture. It's seriously so good that I usually take some to go. The Culver City location is small, but I actually like that it feels more like a quick, casual stop. They have a little seating area outside where you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream. I usually sit there with my doggie Lola. Afterward, you can walk around and do some shopping at the really cool stores surrounding the shop, which makes it a fun little outing rather than just grabbing ice cream and leaving. Parking is also pretty convenient. There's a parking structure right across the street, and it's usually around $2 to park, which is a nice bonus for the area

My mother got Pistachio, and she enjoyed her ice-cream as well (if you prefer something not-so sweet). It was so good, we went to our local Sprouts to buy a pint! So rich and creamy. You wouldn't have to wait long for it to thraw from the freezer. As other yelpers mentioned, there's little to no street parking. So it's highly suggested you park in the structure across the street, or use valet that will lead you immediately to the place on your right-hand side.

Which was a blue vanilla cookies and cream ice cream. DELICIOUS. I unfortunately did not get a picture of it and I regret that. I ordered a two scoop which was two and a half scoops so I think next time I just gone scoop because their scoops were huge. This location only offers two samples per person. Not sure if that is normal. Felt weird to be limited but I can get why. Love this place. Fortunately what I got was one of my samples.

Hazelnut cookies and cream: Okay, if you think you've had Cookies & Cream, you haven't tried Salt & Straw's Oregon version. Apparently, Oregon grows like 99% of the country's hazelnuts, and they actually use nuts from their own farm for this. It's a coconut cream base with bourbon vanilla, packed with crushed sandwich cookies and this insane hazelnut butter fudge ripple.

The last time I had Hokey Pokey was in New Zealand more than 10 years ago. I absolutely loved it back then and ate it almost every day during my trip, even though we visited during winter! So, of course, I had to try it again when I saw it here at Hokey Pokey LA. I have to say, it's pretty darn close to what I remember. Although maybe my taste buds have changed a little over the years because this time I found myself wishing there were MORE toffee pieces. Kind of like a McFlurry where the toppings are mixed all the way through so you get a little bit in every bite. Hahaha It was delicious, creamy, and exactly what I needed to cool down on such a hot day. The small size was actually more than enough for me to enjoy without feeling too stuffed. A little taste of New Zealand right here in LA.

First, thankful for easy parking, I love it that there's a park lot instead of street parking. They had shakes, cookies, cakes, matcha and even little dog treats for our Kodi. I've had their cookies before from the World Market but nothing as fresh as going to the bakery itself. We ended up choosing three cookies, the compost cookie, a corn cookie and one with chocolate chips and marshmallows. I also ordered a little truffle but I can't remember what flavor it was. We didn't eat the cookies until we got back home and they were fine, they were all pre packaged so they weren't the freshest. I liked the corn cookie but the consistence of the cookie was like kinetic sand? I wish it were a little bit more memorable flavor wise but I was really thankful for such kind service.

I said I was ready and asked what flavors he recommends since it's my first time. "Well you can sample the flavors" . . . Me: "oh I know but I'm curious what YOU recommend" So finally he offered the birthday cake and I asked for a sample of the milk moon too. I went with the split scoop for $10 but an extra charge for the seasonal flavor so it came out to $11. I will say - the portion is generous and the presentation is nice. The worker was a little bit more talkative upon bringing my cup and the card reader to pay. But it didn't make up for the initial interaction, or lack thereof. The flavors are pretty mild but the moon milk definitely had the floral and "spiced" flavor to it. It was interesting and different than most ice cream around LA but nothing that made me go "wow" and want to get it again. The vanilla was very mild and tasted more like a milk flavor. Both scoops were creamy and smooth without being too sweet. The birthday cake I sampled was very sweet so I'm glad I didn't choose that.
