There's a sign that states where the line starts with poles guiding people as to where they should be falling in line. Like numerous others, I didn't see the sign. People started falling in line by the window, which is where I was sitting. I eventually moved my seat. Now, I totally understand what the hype is all about. They offer fruits, sauces, and crunch options that other frozen yogurt companies do not offer. While I was falling in line, someone was writing down what I wanted to order. I was impressed that she upsold me. I was asked which option I wanted. I opted for a cup or tub. Then she asked if I wanted a medium or a large. She didn't ask if I wanted a small, medium, or large. I'm thankful I ordered a medium! The couple behind me had a slight misunderstanding because the female ordered small for them to share. He didn't sound happy with her choice. Eventually, she changed the order to a larger size. I knew that I wanted mango. I am thankful that the employee suggested the Biscoff crunch and sauce. Oh my gosh, I slowly ate my yogurt. I wanted to enjoy every crunch with the sauce and yogurt. They gave a generous amount of everything. I would highly recommend llaollao!

Manila Creamery is something to watch out for. As of now, they don't have a physical store yet as they have only recently launched last April 2015 at EDSA BDG, however you will find their humble stall in bazaars and event functions for the time being. It's a start up business by two young individuals but don't be fooled for they deliver you nothing but quality! They have the staple flavor selections but have also created their own unique trademark flavors. When you are able to catch them on bazaars, I suggest you try the cereal milk flavor! It's one of their own unique creations. This one is very promising! I must say, Manila Creamery is almost at par with my own personal favorite gelato brand!

They only use fresh ingredients of high quality to make delicious and unique flavors for everyone to enjoy. I came across their pop-up store in Glorietta 4 and tasted all the flavors available. These flavors were Vanilla Almond, Coffee, Kinder Bueno, Pistachio, Double Chocolate, Black Sesame and my personal favorite that day, Mangga't Suman. Its main ingredients were Mango and a famous Filipino delicacy called Suman which is a rice-based dessert. Everything tasted good, that's for sure! Their gelato was carefully made and tested. I could really tell because of how it was rich and flavorful. I think if I did a blind taste test, I'd know more or less what the main ingredients were! I'm not much of a dessert kind of person but Manila Creamery's gelato has made its mark on my taste buds. I can't wait till their next pop up! Know their whereabouts through their Facebook page (Manila Creamery) and Instagram account (@mnlcreamery). Talking about it can only go as far so go and try their exciting flavors for yourselves!

A milk bar? My lactose intolerance said no. Stay away. Stay far away. But the longer I lingered, the more I noticed something else: it wasn't milk. The white stuff was thick. Scoopable. Yogurt. Koomi sold yogurt. Count me in. I'm a sucker for yogurt. Even more a sucker for yogurt with fruit mixed in. They had other things too, like dates and pistachio and oat (even the oh so popular activated charcoal) but I went with strawberry and watermelon. What can I say? I have my usuals. Once your order is placed, you're given a choice between Aussie blend yogurt (which is more tart) and Filipino blend (which is - go figure - more sweet). I say go with the tart. This entire concoction is then sweetened with natural fruit honey. What you get is a nice yogurt smoothie which isn't too heavy on the stomach and still has those nice flavorful bits. My only gripe with the entire experience was the wait. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the number of people working the counter but the expected wait time was about twenty minutes per serving. Don't get me wrong, the staff was working as fast as they could. It could also have something to do with the time and day I was there. Thankfully they have seats and a clear monitor that displayed where your order number was in the queue. All in all, not for the impatient or in a hurry but the end product is definitely worth it.

Last time I went they only had 4 ice cream flavors on their menu, but hopefully this increases cause I think their ice cream is the main selling point. I love their Milo dinosaur gelato because of both the flavor and the texture! It was rich and creamy without being so dense, and the idea behind it is interesting and out-of-the-box just like their other flavors. Service was slow but acceptable considering they'd just opened. Worth coming back to! Looking forward to trying their other dishes as well.

Liquid nitrogen gelato is not that different from the regular ice cream but what makes it worth trying is that you are assured of its freshness. FYI, it's made from fresh cow's milk. Upon ordering, the ice cream of your choice is made right in front of you by their well-trained staff. In just a few minutes, and with a little help from liquid nitrogen, they can turn milk into a smooth and creamy ice cream. If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend their Tiramisu ice cream topped with a piece of broas. It's really good! A cup costs around Php 150.00 but the serving is generous enough for two. They also serve pasta and sandwiches that are just as good. They are still improving on their menu but it doesn't make the experience any different.
