There's a sign that states where the line starts with poles guiding people as to where they should be falling in line. Like numerous others, I didn't see the sign. People started falling in line by the window, which is where I was sitting. I eventually moved my seat. Now, I totally understand what the hype is all about. They offer fruits, sauces, and crunch options that other frozen yogurt companies do not offer. While I was falling in line, someone was writing down what I wanted to order. I was impressed that she upsold me. I was asked which option I wanted. I opted for a cup or tub. Then she asked if I wanted a medium or a large. She didn't ask if I wanted a small, medium, or large. I'm thankful I ordered a medium! The couple behind me had a slight misunderstanding because the female ordered small for them to share. He didn't sound happy with her choice. Eventually, she changed the order to a larger size. I knew that I wanted mango. I am thankful that the employee suggested the Biscoff crunch and sauce. Oh my gosh, I slowly ate my yogurt. I wanted to enjoy every crunch with the sauce and yogurt. They gave a generous amount of everything. I would highly recommend llaollao!

I don't buy the "oh it's healthy that's why it's pricey" justification (loaded with sugar, anyway). Try out the different flavors first if you don't know what to get yet. Their staff would be happy to give out samples! I recommend their tangerine flavor if you want something tangy.

Every month, they change the flavors in their yogurt selection. Most of the time, the flavors are Original, Peach, Chocolate, Hazelnut, Strawberry and Grapefruit. Among these, my favorite is the Peach flavor. It has the right amount of tang and sweetness without the artificial flavor of Peach. For those who find frozen yogurt too sour, I recommend the Chocolate or Hazelnut. It doesn't taste like frozen yogurt because there's no pinch of sourness. It's like eating ice cream but a healtheir version. Their small cup already has a big swirl of this cold treat so I think it's enough for your frozen yogurt craving. You can also choose one or more kinds of toppings for extra flavor!

It's ice cream in the form of tiny little dots. They come in a wide variety of different flavors. I can't recommend any flavor because the simple truth is that I've only ever tried it once. My parents told me that the serving was quite small given the exorbitant price to be paid for each serving. The taste itself is nothing special. If memory serves me right, again this was years ago, the flavor I had was bubblegum. Considering the fact that I haven't gone there in what must be more than a decade, it shows you just how good it really is. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. To its credit though, the Dippin Dots in Alabang Town Center is one of the older establishments in the mall. The fact that it still stands means some people actually like it. I guess you could say that it just aint my cup of ice cream.

I jumped at every chance to have a cup of their frozen fun. This was THE ultimate ice cream shop in my grade school; everybody who bought from here was the coolest of the cool kids. Now that I'm older, however, the magic has faded a little. Now I recognize that the prices are kinda high in respect to the amounts you get, and out of respect for my body, I try not to buy their mostly unimpressive ice cream too often (not really worth the calories). But sometimes, when I particularly miss being a kid and there's a stand nearby, I treat myself to a small cup of their bubble gum or banana split dots, savor the texture of the micro ice cream scoops, and everything is alright again for a little while.

Now that I'm a mom, I want to make happy memories with my daughter. So I thought of bringing her to Magnolia Flavor House since she loves ice cream so much. Good thing they opened up a branch in Robinson's Las Pinas. We shared an order of their Banana Split and I must say, there's a reason why Magnolia has been around for decades: they know ice cream. I don't think I'll ever get tired of the chocolate-vanilla-strawberry combination. For those who want to veer away from the classics, they have the Cold Marble selections where they try to up their ante and serve new ice cream combinations (I thought the Cream Cheese and Corn was delicious). I just hope they can include some more ice cream flavors on the menu (the ones they sell in the supermarkets). I was expecting the other food on the menu to take a backseat, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they also taste good. They serve "grown-up food" like Gambas and Buffalo Wings, and they do a good job at it. My daughter liked that she can see how her ice cream was being embellished with her favorite toppings, and I liked that I can breastfeed without getting conscious on their super comfy chairs. I think I found a great place for our mom and daughter dates.

Been seeing this on my friends' social media accounts and is said to follow the mango graham float…read morecraze. Instead of using mangoes, they use avocados. It might be weird to non-Filipinos that avocados are being used for desserts but this is the typical way we eat avos in the Ph -- with milk and sugar, in shake/smoothie form or ice creams. Avocadoria.ph is a kiosk inside Alabang Town Center in front of Le Sucre Lab (another popular dessert place) on the Lower Ground floor near Metro Department store. I initially just wanted soft serve avocado ice cream because the lady said they use real avocados in their ice cream so that piqued my interest. Unfortunately, they don't have just the soft serve ice cream option without all the toppings at a lower price. You can only choose their avocado lover priced at Php110 and just opt out of the toppings you don't want. Avocado lover comes with graham crackers, pearls, chia seeds, almonds and a few chunks of fresh avocado with an 8oz serving of soft serve avocado ice cream. Since I'm gluten free, I opted not to have crushed graham crackers and I also said no pearls (just not a fan of boba pearls). Upon tasting the soft serve ice cream, it really did taste like it was made with real avocados. (Note: I used to work for a flavor company and avocado flavor is sooo difficult to do well and taste like the real thing). I liked the addition of the chia seeds, almonds and avocado chunks as it added texture to the cup. However, what I noticed was that after eating half of the cup, I started getting a bitter note. The bitterness is typical to some avocado fruits -- either they were still unripe or just the specific variety. Because the bitterness was slowly compounding, I opted not to finish the remaining ice cream in my cup. Overall, I liked it and the soft serve tasted delicious at first before the bitterness crept in. I think the bitterness just depends on the fruit they have so this is understandable. Will bring the hubby here when he's in town because he loves avocado shakes and ice creams.
